Hey! I live in Bowling green! Fun Fact: the Pirate Ship is actually one of Michael Jackson’s old rides from his Netherland Park. Also, Beachbend is mostly best when going to the Water Park. It’s a nice little park, but it’s better to just go 3 hours away to Kings Island or something if you really want a lot of action. Bowling Green does have a lot of other spots to visit though in terms of tourism. Corvette Museum, Train Museum, Historic Downtown, and Hotrod Stadium to name a few. Glad you checked out the park. Keep up the good videos! :)

kentucky rumbler is SO underrated, ive gone on it 18 times. if you havent gone to beech bend and are unsure of going, definitely go just to ride the rumbler.
I went there just a couple days after Taylor did, same Friday as Holiwood Nights. Kentucky Rumbler really does look awesome, dominating the view of the park as you drive up to it on that weird tree-lined road. I was gonna mention the thing about everything there spinning, but I see he realized this too. Kentucky Rumbler was my first GCI, and if you sit towards the back, the drop really hits you out of nowhere. There was a guy from France marathoning it at the same time that I rode it twice. I didn't think much of it at the time, but I guess he had to be on a major multi-park trip too. Unfortunately, I rode both Starship and Scat, and they REALLY took their toll on me. 2/3 of the way through their cycles, I was practically begging (internally) to get off from how uncomfortable the forces were. I took a bit of a break and thought that maybe I was fine, but I rode Wild Mouse, and *boom*, I... well, um, "got sick". It was made much worse by the fact that I wasn't leaning out of the car. Needless to say, that made it a bit of a rocky start to the weekend, and soured the park experience for me.
I was there last summer and I had a pretty good time there. I went on Kentucky Rumbler three times and I got to talk with the employees of the park. They are so nice and they’re more than welcome to talk with you if you give them the time. I’ll definitely come back to Beech Bend in the near future and I’m more than ready to hop on Kentucky Rumbler a few more times.

I think it is also very scenic, like that lake in the middle is very nice, and just looking at its general location, it's nice to look at sometimes. I would definitely have Kentucky Rumbler as one of my bucket list coasters, since this looks to be a very underrated GCI wooden coaster, and looks awesome.
Be very happy they got rid of their Pinfari Looper so you didn't have to try to suffer through that credit lol. On positive notes the GCI looks very solid, I mean in my opinion the only "not that good" GCI I've ever ridden was "Wildcat" at Hershey and I liked it more post-MF trains added. I think it should get the RMC treatment, it'd be a great addition to that park. Kentucky Rumbler is fun, and if your going to get a wild mouse, get the kind that spins. Scat "2" is a pretty rare ride, I rode one at a fair once, otherwise I've seen lots of those starships and ridden many, as well as a more common version where it's like scat open but just one big huge thing with like four times the capacity. You can't beat the intensity of that ride though. Well, almost. Try Tropical Storm at Playland's Castaway Cove in Ocean City, NJ, holy crap what even.
Honestly this looks like one of those parks a Raptor was straight up designed to go to. Like if they're gonna invest in a new coaster within the next 5 years then I will be surprised if it doesn't turn out to be a raptor. (Also Sweet Waterpark I spot a Tornado and a Cone Slide so those are pretty nifty
I went to beach bend and I loved it I went on the Kentucky rumbler like 7 or 8 times and I loved every ride that I did how ever I did have the problem of the rides broke down really easy so some rides I couldn't ride cause they broke down.
Taylor, you need to go to Galaxyland in Alberta, Canada. They have a nice 1-2 punch in one of the most insanely intense coasters I've ever ridden, Mindbender (Yes even when comparing it to Skyrush, Maverick, and Intimidator 305, it is only less intense than I305 IMO), and a really fun spinning coaster, Galaxy Orbiter. They also have some weird rides, like a Chance Unicoaster and Quirks in the Works (The latter is a really wacky darkride!).
Kw6sTheater I'd love to, but unfortunately the park is in the middle of nowhere. It's a full 24 hour drive from where I am in Utah. That's a long ways to go for 3 credits.
@Coaster Studios, have you ever considered going to Lake Winnepesaukah in Roseville Georgia. It reminds me a lot of Beach Bend. There's three roller coasters there. And it's home to the oldest mill chute.
It would be cool to see them get another rollercoaster! I think they should take several years and save up money and get something great! I don't know how long they had to save up to get Kentucky Rumbler if anyone does please tell me, but if they did it right, I think they could pull a Holiday World and go with a b&m of some type or I could see an RMC Raptor here. Only if they saved up money right.
It looks a lot like the Troy of America- underrated and not talked about enough. Well among North American enthusiasts it isn't talked about enough, at least.
Troy is a legendary coaster. Last week I got an insane night ride on it. It's the best coaster in the Netherlands imo. It's right up there with Goliath in terms of intensity and airtime. However Troy has a more inspiring layout and amazing pacing. Also, when Taron's running weak, Troy will actually be better I think. Except for when Taron runs very well, than it is total insanity. I could talk so much more about Troy and Toverland and how underrated it is. But going back to your comment; I fully agree with you about the underratedness of both coasters even though Troy will be a lot better. But nevertheless, KR looks like a very fun GCI. Possibly top 10 GCI in the world actually.
When I went it was really packed by it totally worth it and they had it open at night to and they have cabins to stay in for the weekend or how overlong you book it

DCM -[Some Potential]- it is a charming park but it has a horrible coaster collection. Otherwise, I love the lake in the middle and the other rides are cute. I think that the cheetah is the worst woodie I've ever been on though.
Jeffrey Markowitz they should as in a Sky Rocket II Coaster. Refurbished Cheetah, add in a Zamperla Power Surge (they did has one before), or a Zamperla Air Race (6.4 or 8.2)
Leslie Park Plus, it could be a better review if Taylor goes on summer and try out the park in summer so he has a feel for the park at both times throughout the year.
A lot of these smaller parks you will review, and during the review skip over a major ride there (like KY Rumbler) saying you will review them later, but never get around to them. Are those reviews very belated or do you just forget to get around to them?

Back when I lived in Kentucky, Kentucky kingdom was still closed down. And beech bend was the only place I could really go, it was so much fun

That Drop Tower (Shock Drop) is an EXACT clone of Drop Zone @ Kemah Boardwalk in Texas, which is also home to the amazing Boardwalk Bullet

Beech Bend only really ever gets busy on Friday nights when they stay open later and do fireworks.
They have a drop tower exactly like that at the park nearest to me.!! Called lake Winnie.!.

Exactly. This is on the smaller side but a Raptor would actually fit here. Silverwood is an excellent choice too.
I live only an hour away and haven't went in years, rather go to Dollywood, we even have season passes to Dollywood
Had a season pass here for a couple of years, certainly a fun way to kill time throughout the summer.
You should go to Darien lake in 2018 because there getting a geurtlouer euro fighter and they have a docent amount of coasters

Basically a park like Delgrosso's in Pennsylvania with a GCI.
For their next coaster, I feel like they could get a small Intamin Zac Spin or Gerstlauer Eurofighter.
They have one of those drop towers at the Nc state fair where I live, but it's like 200ft tall and there's no brakes and it's sketchy as crap

Estop Motions I went to Kentucky twice this past summer. This was shot at the end of the May, but I was also in the state towards the end of July.

I’ve ridden a Watkins tempest which is similar to the scat Exept it’s a sit down and has 4 gondolas instead of 2. Super forceful and dizzying

Helm and Sons amusements owns a ride exactly like scat 2
The scat 2 type ride is at coney as well. It is very forceful

Jeffrey Markowitz Cheetah was running great when I went...last year 😅. It was my first official coaster credit.

There are no beaches is Kentucky and they definitely don’t bend so this park is IRRELEVANT.
