What a cute little park. Sometimes these are the best little vacation get-a-way locations for a low stress, relaxed, no-hype exploration weekend.
I love watching your videos. Lots of people make bad videos about this park, but you always show the good parts and not just the bad parts.
Beech Bend Park looks like an interesting place for families to visit. Even though this isn’t for many thrill seekers, but just like a lot of smaller parks, it’s nice to spend a few hours there.
It almost feels like a permanent carnival, they have a variety of attractions. Of course, the main star of the park is their Great Coasters International (GCI) Wooden coaster, Kentucky Rumbler. I think it is also very scenic, that lake in the middle is nice, and just looking at its general location, it’s nice to look at.
Now then, I could see the park invest in some new rollercoasters. They should take several years to save up money and get something great! Here’s what I could see them doing:
- Despite Kentucky Rumbler offering an amazing experience, it certainly isn’t the smoothest wooden rollercoaster. I predict that they could give it the RMC treatment, it’d be a great addition for the park.
- Replace the Speedway Go-Karts with a Vekoma Suspended Thrill Coaster (STC). This coaster model offers a great riding experience and a fun, thrilling ride that’s filled with some airtime. It could create a phenomenal one-two punch for the park.
- Since the park offers a good amount of attractions from Chance Rides, why not offer a Chance Hyper GT-X coaster.
Despite not being a massive amusement park, Beech Bend is place that I would recommend visiting and trying it out.
I used to live in BG and had a season pass for two or three years. It’s a fairly small theme park, but I miss it.
Superb video, this might be a great small park, but the old beach bend was incredible.....yes there was an old beach bend....it closed in 1983.....sad to see it go...
And there was the asphalt oval track. I raced there once (early 80's).
On the topic of the haunted house, it actually got renovated around 2011. Until that point it actually had the original props from the 50s. It was super corny but the old school stuff in there was really cool.

I'm a lifeguard at BB! My home park is HW but its nice having a GCI right down the road that I can ride anytime :)
@Kirstie Kevin It's been consistent this year, idk what it was like previous years. I was told we don't put them on any higher settings bc we lose too much water out of the sides of the pool, but lifeguards don't control it just managers and maintenance.

It looks like a nice park. It looks clean and well maintained. And it offers alot of rides for a family owned amusement ride.

Used to go to Beech Bend alot as a kid. Used to have a petting zoo and a small walk through zoo. Alot of the better rides were sold off and zoo closed years and years ago thanks to Ronny Milsap. Great vlog.
My family and I just got back to the hotel after spending the 4th of July here! It was our first time here and it's a nice little place. We had a great time, except for one thing: that freakin' Starship 4000. Maybe I'm just getting old, but that thing was physically painful and made me sick. Other than that thing, though, I really like this park and we'll be coming back for sure.
I have not been in a very long time it is nice to see some new rides and some old rides from my last visit it would be nice to visit again

Came to get a look at MJ's sea dragon had to keep forwarding to the end and then just got a quick glimpse. :( ..I'm trying to find more of his rides going to make a road trip of it. :)

I want to take a trip down there one day... my home park is Kentucky Kingdom.
I went to Kentucky on vacation once and I went here it was fun
The fact I probably was on one of the rides while he recorded it.
This place is essentially the budget version of Holiday World or Dollywood
The best thing about this park is usually only natives know about it so there's almost never a line at anything.
30 dollars is good for all those rides. You'd pay more at a fair with no roller coaster.
In that context you are exactly right. Knoebels is a steal.
chased Knobels is expensive if you're someone who likes to ride rides over and over. There is a reason most parks switched to one fee to enter instead of pay per ride.
It cost 100 dollars to get in
Kentucky Rumbler and the new for 2016 waterslide complex looks exciting but I'am not sure if I could see myself being there as this park is pretty small and I don't know of anything else to do in Bowling Green. Plus it's pretty far from Louisville. But who knows. It still looks exciting enough to spend a few hours at.

Bowling Green Native here. The Corvette museum is a must see, and you can come to Mammoth Cave and Lost River Cave.
