Hey i just got one and im trying to set it up . When i switched on the remote and then the drone its not giving me the beep sound that you said we have to wait for … the first beep was ok but the second one never happened and the arrows light on the remote kept flashing .

Thank you for the great comment and for stopping by. You will really like that drone, Just stay in the first speed when you want to film. First speed will keep it nice and smooth. The second speed is for getting to your point of interest to film and back.

Nice tutorial, very helpful brother! ... Also if you want to turn on LED flight beacon lights while you have drone in hand you must first press the unlock button on remote to unlock motors then flight beacon light can be turned on & off.

I was looking at the DJI mini 2 but it doesn't have a follow me or tracking feature which sucks. I need that follow me feature for my Skate footage. Excited to unbox and set up😊

Subscribed. You are calm /relaxed and thorough. I like. Just received this drone today. I am curious, does yours have what looks like a small drop of glue on the edge of the optical flow sensor? Also, does your left stick on the controller push in and out easily, almost like it is a button? (the right one doesn't) Just curious to know if I have flaws or just standard oddities. Thanks so much for watching and buying one. I don’t have any glue by the optical flow camera. Both of my gimbal toggles push in a little bit like a button. HolyStone has used this controller on a lot of different drones that had there speed rate on one of the sticks. But this drone don’t use it. Well any problems, HolyStone is super cool on replacing anything that has problems. Thanks again and have a great weekend.

I have this drown currently (its sitting in front of me)
For me it works well but it doesn't pair well with my phone, i used another phone that didnt work either. And when i would have the wifi paired with it- it always disconnects or never shows up.
Hi there nice video. I wondered as to the correct position for the antenna, as i tend to point them down and doing do have reached 1010 m, but i have seen some people pointing them straight out? pointing them up tend to upset the phone in the holder part so that wont work. I see on many DJI's that they face up but they hold phone in bottom and not top.
I just point them out like the dji controllers

I use Sandisk class 10 32g sd card , I should have a link in the descriptions. I use them in all my drones, they don’t freeze up when recording in 4K.
Hey please does anyone know what KV the motor is?? I've got a similar drone with a busted motor..need to find a matching motor but I can't tell what KV the motor is
What is the difference between mode 1 & 2? Do you have to do the calibration every time you use it? Your video was really good, you wasted no time, you got to the point very good.
Thanks so much, mode 1 is switching the joy sticks flight functions around, for controlling the drone. Unfortunately you have to preform the gps compass calibration, every time you turn on the drone to fly. It’s pretty quick to calibrate, so it will not take long to setup before every flight.

Could I use this for drone fishing? Couldn’t find any information on weight capacity or aftermarket line release devices. TIA
No this would be too light, I wouldn’t recommend it. Something like that I would buy a DJI Phantom 3 or 4. They make a lot of carry and release devices for them. My new Hollystone SS720E arrived yesterday I charge the battery battery overnight and started it I could not get the remote to connect with the drone. The remote battery indicator has no LED on one side on the left.. what’s the problem?
If it’s faulty then you may have to return it. I just review them, also did you see how I show you how to link controller to the drone? It’s in this video. Turn drone on and then on the controller while it’s off. Press and hold the red lock button down, while still holding the lock button down. Turn the controller on and then let off the lock button, that should manually pair the drone with controller. Also you must have good AA batteries, I use Duracell batteries in my gps drones.

@@BIGDRONEFLYER77RC I took it out for a flight today and it went well but i wasnt sure if i was connected to the GPS and i also couldnt tell if the calibration was a success. WHen i connected to the wifi it said no internet access next to it and when i did the calibration it was already solid red. Plus what app does everyone use?
Ophelia go app is what you use for the drone. It’s on iOS and android, just make sure you have duel band 2.4ghz & 5.8ghz WiFi to see the camera from your phone.

Well it easy will go 800 ft but I stay at 400 ft here in California in the law.
Sorry to bother you, after taking pic/ vid on the 720e I hit the pic icon, it shows a lil tower with a long number with mp4 at the end, i click on them and the do nothing?? I have a Samsung 10, are my settings not right?
Ok I don’t have android, I have you checked your photos in your actual phone photo gallery? My old android used to save there, if not you may have to just grab them from the sd card. Sorry I don’t have android anymore so I’m not sure if that app is setup the same way.
Where is this shipped from and also I was going to buy the dji mavic but evidently theirs some compatibility issues with android phones. I assume theirs no problems with android or apps with this drone. Thanx in advance if you respond.
Thanks David for watching. It’s a bummer that we can’t download the DJI fly app for Android yet. I wanted to fly my Mavic air 2 with my Samsung tablet A. At least the original Mavic air I can fly with it and the DJI go4 app is android friendly. This drone should be fine on android and this link is from amazon USA.

Thanks for watching. Im not sure if the drone is being flown in high wind or just a bad drone. Try recalibrating the gps compass away from any metal, phone, and concrete. I fly in the low speed setting for smooth film, in very low winds. So me Not being able to see what it’s doing in person, makes it hard to say. If it’s really bad then may have to return it.
If you have your gps turned off should it still be showing gps signals
It will still show how many satellites even when your in altitude hold. Thanks Jerry for watching.

You can use rechargeable AA batteries in the controller.
Can anyone help me with my HolyStone720E? When I turn it on, even though the battery is fully charged on the drone, when I turn the remote on it shows “no battery” and the the drone shows green flash lights. This is my second drone already and I can not figure it out. Am I doing something wrong?
Does the HS720E record directly to the iPhone?
It has a built in dvr and it records the WiFi video to the drone app

Hey Donnie I heard you aren't feeling well hopefully you're better now I just unboxed my HS720E upon further inspection I noticed a tiny wire protruding from the base of one of the arms. Is this normal?

I can’t get the mobile phone to sit in the cradle. It fits but it’s not secure.
I was flying this drone for the 1st time the other day and everthing was going smooth. When the battery got down to about 3mins left the drone stoped responding and landed but did not return to home first as the instructions said it would. Any ideas? Thanks!
Did you have it on “GPS” mode ? what I think also it was too far and could not reach you but landed anyway.

If the weight is over 250grams then yes
I'm having issues getting it to idle. I got it running once and it hit a house and all was fine and since then after following instructions I can't seem to get it to idle. To fly.
Sounds like the gps compass may of not calibrated right. I would trade in a different area just to make sure there’s no interference. I get a lot of interference from 5G towers when I’m in town. Also, make sure your phones not close to the drone when you’re doing the calibration.

My box doesn’t say hs720e anywhere. Just hs105. Is it the same thing?
Yes it’s the same Drone, in other countries holystone cannot get the copyright on the model number so they had to use HS105 instead of HS720E.

It’s a good drone, any problems then send it back. Unless you want to spend 300 more and get a DJI Mavic mini. It’s all about how much you can afford.

The Mavic mini isn't $300 it's $300+ more than the hs720e.
That's a lot of difference.
What is calibrate “gyro “ I heard mentioned?
Gyros help stabilize the drone. So when the drone is on a flat and levelsurface , you calibrate the gyros. This way the drone knows it’s taking off level. I show this in a flight video of this drone, or you can look up a video about drones gyros system. That way you will learn more about how gyros work. Thanks for watching. Cheers

The Mavic mini is still the better drone, I have only gone out 1000ft with mine. I never did a range test with it, but the specs are in the link in the descriptions.
How do you get a batter satellite connection?
There is nothing you can really do, it just depends on where the satellites are traveling in space in your area at the time you are preparing to fly. Over cast and high magnetic interference can cause slow satellite connection. Thanks for watching
How high can it fly and can it fly in light winds
Well 400 feet is the max height range in the USA by faa laws. So that’s all I can go here and also 5-10mph wind is all I would fly in, I’m sure it could handle more. But I would not push to high wind flying. Thanks for watching
I believe you are in error with regard to GPS switch. Up is OFF and down is on. It is counter intuitive but that is what I note on the screen.GPS disappears when you push switch up.
unlock the motors, then turn the bottom lights on...doesn't necessarily need to be in flight. Im having no success pairing my Android to Drone with Ophilia Go App.
I received one for Christmas. You get about 20 minutes out of each battery. Where is the lowest cost place to buy extra batteries?

Hi I'm having problems with my Drone it's a Holy Stone HS120D after a calibrated it fly's in different directions it goes up than spins out of control please help me with this problem thank you
Thanks for the contact Kevin, did you try to recalibrate it again? Make sure your phone, metal is not close to the drone when calibrating. Especially do not calibrate over concrete, there’s a lot of metal rebar that will interfere with the GPS calibration. I have a few videos on that hs120d drone.

I have a quick question where do you get the wall adapter can you use your iPhone adapter I try finding the one that the books requires but I can’t find one I called up the company and they’re pretty much dumbfounded at least the woman that I talk to

Why do you have to calibrate it counter clockwise and the camera facing down? What happens if you do it the other way around???
I don’t think anything will happen but it’s manufactures suggestion for best GPS calibration.

I have the Hs720e and having connection issues with wifi and I have turned on Mobile Data when wifi is not available still does not connect. I can connect to the drone with the drone remote just having the wifi/ mobile data problems. Can anyone help please? Thank you.
Hi and thanks for watching. Does your phone have 2.4ghz and 5.8ghz duel WiFi band. The drone puts out its own 5.8ghz (802.12ac) WiFi for your phone to connect too. So 4G or 5G phone service does not matter, it’s about your phone having that duel wifi band. You can ask your phone provider if your phone has this or you can google your phone model to check. I know that all iPhones from iPhone 5s to the latest model has duel band WiFi. I don’t know much about android, I know the latest Samsung galaxies have the duel wifi bands.

You’ll have to look up your tablet by googling it. See if it’s dual band Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz. Then you’ll know if it works or not. It Hass to have that dual band that has the 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi. Thanks for watching and have a great one.

I'm having trouble seeing pictures im taking from the app, from the hs 720e, I have a card in the drone, but thought I could view vid/ pic on app
You can at the Home page on the bottom right hand corner of the app. It says photos.
I go there and click on pic or vid, and nothing is there?
It’s supposed to be there, all mine are there. I use a iPhone 7plus to fly with and I Usually take pictures from the app of the phone and not on the controller. But either way it should leave your video and photos there even if it’s from the controller buttons.
Try using a 64 gig #3 fast as card . Hope that helps

New to this drone not hovering property how can I fix
I’m not sure what you mean not hovering properly? Did you look on the side of the controller and make sure your in gps mode when you did the gps calibration ?
How come when I'm not connected to my phone it will fly 150 meters but as soon as I connect my phone, it limits me to 15 meters. I can't find it on google anywhere
In the drone app, you need to shut off the beginners mode in the app settings. It definitely sounds like the 15 to 20m beginners mode is on.

I just purchased this drone I love it but you're right, the remote could have been a chargeable rather than batteries, lol..... The only thing I"m really not liking is how to charge the batteries? could you please explain the best way to charge these damn things? The other way is so much better and easier!!!!!!!!!! Charge with the battery in w/ USB cable..... This way is not very cool for as expensive as this thing is

what is mode one?
Mode 1 moves the throttle function to the right stick and the elevator control to the left stick. This separates the primary controls so that there is less accidental “mix” when moving one control or the other, as is common with Mode 2. The Mode 1 pilot will be controlling the throttle and aileron with his right hand. USA the controller is usually always standard in mode 2. China drone flyers usually fly in mode 1. Seems like everyone has a different way of getting this drone to fly. Do you togle down to the left for gyro stabilization every time you fly? Is that necessary?
That’s usually if you don’t fly in gps mode, so I don’t calibrate the gyros every time.

Is there a reason my 720e will not go over 100M? I was flying higher with no issues for the first few flights. Now it only goes up to 100 no matter if I try to raise it higher.
Check your flight limits in the drone app settings, just to make sure you didn’t hit a minimum flight range. Thanks Dyson for watching!

Yes...that was it! It somehow switched to beginner mode in the app. Im back rolling....well...flying high :)
