You my friend have excellent knowledge on the hs720. Thank you for an excellent video! Its a great little drone. Ive had mine for over a year now. When i first got mine, it work for about a month and then I had some stabilization issues. I emailed holy stone and they replaced the entire unit. Which says alot about the company as well
The problem I have had with this drone and the HS720E is that both my original did a fly away, now having flown drones since 2018 I think I may have got the hang of it by now, each fly away did the same, after setting things up and then starting within minutes the drone decided to fly to its left so on pressing RH nothing happens, I then try to control the drone myself again nothing so in total I have lost the following 1xHS720E & HS720G being fair to Holy Stone they have replaced all the fly aways I've had, so far play to then. ~In my opinion there is something not quite right withe the drone / controller or both which needs sorting, I'm sure that Holy Stone can't keep replacing these fly aways. All that said I'm still of the option that these drones perform and look good despite the obvious. So for now I'll keep my fait hin Holy Stone.

I watched some many video but I was not getting a simple answer how the camera angle is changed. What two beep sound mean. You deserve 5 star rating.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can you also suggest or have video how to stabilize the picture in video editing software and which software would you recommend. If anyone on budget would you say image stabilization comparing to 3axis gimble drone vs EIS as on this drone, is it really that much different
I did not use any stabilizing software in this video. The EIS is a game changer for drones without a gimbal. Now, there are drone with both and that will be better :)

Ok, so I purchased the HS720E but I have a problem. I have calibrated it but when I click one key take off / landing, the drone takes off and hovers at about 5 feet but it is very eratic and doesn't stay in position. It drifts off considerably and controls are not very responsive. Just 20 feet or so away and it will not respond correctly. GPS is ON with 11 satellites being received Battery power is full Controler batteries are full Also, the controller says it is in Mode 2. I have tried to switch to mode 1 by holding the lock button down while switching on but it doesn't change from Mode 2. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks RCE.

What phone does it need to connect to? It's not mentioned in manual. Tried my Samsung A20, and my friend's Huawei, and it won't connect. I also have a problem with battery charger, that won't stop blinking, even after many hours of charging. Batteries seem to be charged though... I mean, I can fly it like regular RC plane, it even uses GPS utside, but no live video connection to my smartphone.

So got the HS720E for Christmas. Not totally sold on the capabilities especially some irregularities with the software. Not able to share photos. assuming price is not a huge factor it seems the mini 2 is way way way more capable especially with the OccuSync.
Just got it 1. Can't connect anything to its SSID. 2. No warning on low battery. Beeps and drops and hits hard. 3. Can't switch between mode 1 and 2 for control
What's the weight of this drone . As UK CAA rules and regulations are strict on what you need by weights. If under 250grams only £10 per year 250 and over £100+ and insurance before you can fly within rules which are restricted alot more than 249 grams or lower with a camera so even a £30 drone with a camera needs a flyers ID and drone ID at £10 😉👌 TYIA

I can and would highly recommend the DJI mini se over any other budget drone as I bought mine brand new on eBay for £280 and the fly more kit so extra batteries props charger bav etc and it's far superior to this drone 3 axis gimbal yea it's a 2.7k camera but you wouldn't be able to tell the difference trust me but if you can afford it get the DJI mini 2 , 4k camera zoom function and so much more again go for a fly more kit.. good luck I love mine plus I know when I want to upgrade to the mini 3 pro I'll be able to sell my mini se for pretty much the price I've paid for it ESP if I don't end up using all three batteries as the DJI app records drones flights, batteries usage and charges for next owner to see why any DJI drone will out do any other drone of a similar price plus their app out does any other drone app plus all the minis require the minimal certificates or licence's and insurance needed to fly. My mini se just needs a drone ID and flyers ID which I have. Obtained by the CAA online test that only costs £10 a year to get or renew the drone I'd is free and lasts 5 years. This is UK CAA regulations. If you live outside the UK I do recommend you look up the CAA regulations and rules for you . CAA is the civil aviation authority. They make the rules for all aircraft. And mine being under 250 grams I can pretty much fly it where I want apart from airports, prisons military bases etc but less restricted for the drone in this video. So definitely worth checking the CAA rules mate before deciding what you get .... Plenty DJI mini se,2,3,3pro videos on utube 😉👌good luck fly safe keep the hobby available for everyone that can afford it 😉👌🫶👍💪🤞😄

I have 3 o4 batteries for this drone... It was the very worst thing I had ever spent money on so with that being said I returned 3 b4 I just finally said send me my money back and went elsewhere... If u want a really good drone go with any DJI drones... I love my new Mavic Mini drone... It has been worth every penny...
The video camera has a lot of distortion. Almost as if the view was through a convex lens. Not as pronounced in a dji mini se. I won't get the mini se, however as they are apparently helping the Russians at this time do battle with the Ukrainians.

I seen a car on my videos, that I sold a month after I had sold my car. Lol

I just think that it's way too expensive with what is being offered. £300 (~$400) for this drone which you can get far more powerful drones for the same price.
@@Ytremz I agree. I bought one, and it malfunctioned. I exchanged it for a new one, ant it also malfunctioned! I returned the second one for refund and bought a DJI Mavic Mini. Very happy with the Mavic Mini.
Are there any aftermarket blade guards that you can attach to this model? The HS website doesn't show any blade guards for the 720e. I bought one of these, and it's great...but when flying indoors, I had a little mishap with one of my curtains.
I'm so jealous of that flat wide open space with no trees. Nothing like that where I live. Just bought this model. All I can say about it is that it's definitely sturdy because I wrecked it on an indoor test flight like an idiot and no damage besides a couple chinked propellers that were easy to replace. Still flies fine.

Are you calibrating the compass? And are you waiting for the gps acquirement? And are you calibrating the gyros?

My 6yr old iphone works fine. Even my old ipad works good. Try another phone.

I just think that it's way too expensive with what is being offered. £300 (~$400) for this drone which you can get far more powerful drones for the same price.
@@Ytremz I agree. I bought one, and it malfunctioned. I exchanged it for a new one, ant it also malfunctioned! I returned the second one for refund and bought a DJI Mavic Mini. Very happy with the Mavic Mini.

Are there any aftermarket blade guards that you can attach to this model? The HS website doesn't show any blade guards for the 720e. I bought one of these, and it's great...but when flying indoors, I had a little mishap with one of my curtains.
Not that I know of. I would recommend not flying brushless quads indoors.
Is there an option to set a timer for the camera and or for it to take more than one photo when you press the camera button?

I'm so jealous of that flat wide open space with no trees. Nothing like that where I live. Just bought this model. All I can say about it is that it's definitely sturdy because I wrecked it on an indoor test flight like an idiot and no damage besides a couple chinked propellers that were easy to replace. Still flies fine.

I think two should be enough. You don't want to spend too much on your first drone.
