This is a fantastic series, and it is absolutely criminal that you don't get more views and subs. I love how much neat trivia you pack in each video about each game without having it drag on and on. Keep up the great work.
i played the arcade version of this on a namco compilation on PS1. i thought it was fun and reminded me of Zelda, which I realize now, was most likely inspired by Druaga
These are such good video! I flipping love the wacky-ass stuff you put in there that's easy to miss, like the clip of the commercial with that really confused child playing the game backward in the woods with those nightmare muppets flailing about. I don't get it at all, and neither did that child, apparently. Now I want to play this game.

I completely agree on what you said! I just came across this channel last week and I'm flippin hooked.
"Kind of pokey and they jiggle a bit before moving only one square"
Just like my wife.

Yeah, Zelda leaned very heavily into the Druaga influence, though with a lot more polish and a lot less cruelty.

I love play The Tower of Druaga on Namco Museum DS a lot when I was a 7 year old child since 2008
I have no idea how anyone could have beaten this game without a guide
At arcades, they actually had written guides beside the machine that players were filling in as they found things.
I remember playing this on a ds, I didn't expect it to be for nes😮
Druaga + Hydlide = Zelda
3:32 love these wonderful little guys
also you saying "but i'm here" right after they show up is a really cute detail although idk if its intentional lol
I've been hearing about this game for years, and I could just never bring myself to try it. It just looks a little too primitive.
It’s a hard sunuvabitch and it’s going to be completely impenetrable and impossible if you go in blind but it’s definitely a charming little game.
