I'm 41 yrs old,and i grew up with old 320i,e30 325is,and my love,1976 2002tii turbo i built myself,I have a brother 15yrs younger than me and he has a e90 335i m sport and he's pushing close to 6-700 whp,drove it this past weekend,and wow!!!!..so now i'm looking for one,gotta keep the BIMMER TREND GOING!!!...Great video..keep them coming!!!

This car is a 335is. Last of the legendary n54 engines to be made from 2011-2013 and the 335i went on to the n55.
Only ~3600 335is were made by BMW and were sold in North America only making it a pretty rare care.
This car was BMWs first run with an inline six, twin turbo with a 7Speed DCT and it worked out real well as you can see in this video.
Of the 3600 that were made, only 5 were made in Crimson Red, with Coral Red interior making this car 1/5 in the world!
pretty sick but its probably cause its not the nicest color combo lol but performance wise this car is wiiiiicked sickkk for stock turbos.

gotta love c63's, I've replaced the air intake filters and tuned the car after it reached 540hp, added headers and x pipe and retuned the car it reached 580.
C63's are badass cars. absolutely love them
they’re just 4x more expensive

Jimmy Schlacter exactly how can u get 500WHP !!! From stock turbos !! I saw 100 of cars with stage 2 pure turbos meth injectors..upgraded fuel pump and they run 560-600 hp 😅

Would be heat soaking by the end , to make that power u would need e85, meth inj, and a small Nitrous shot plus every bolt on available u could see the turbos peak around 19psi then drop to 15ish on the fuel gauge hijack

Marlin Rowley to get to 500whp on a stock turbo you basically need e70 and meth or 100% e85. This guys most likely at 450
Completely conceivable, it will hit 500 much lower in the powerband than all of the cars they went up against, stock n54 turbos stop flowing with any real efficiency after 5300 rpm (modded for big boost) after that iat just keeps rising and rising, this is evidenced in the video where he pulls really strong in the mid and upper mid-ranges but the others start to gain ground after 5500 or so. The only real thing to do is short shift a bit, say 6k, otherwise you miss the hp peak shifting at 7k. Watch when he races the 350z, you catch a glimpse of the tach close to 6k as the 350z starts to pull, he keeps the pedal down but the Z pulls even harder. Same as the srt4, he starts to pull on it but then the turbos output pancakes. These turbos can makes numbers but are not for racing - hes probably running 80%+ wgdc to keep those snails spinning hard above 5000 rpm.

Im currently looking at a 2013 335i coupe with the M sport package for $21,000. It has 46,100 miles on it but Im worried about the reliability of a used. Should i pull the trigger?

The 2013 335i has the N55 which in most cases are more reliable than the N54. Its a pretty good deal so id so go for it.
I got real lucky with a 2012 335is with 42,000 miles for $22,000

Simply Car Things 500whp on stock turbos maybe for dyno day. Prolly 24psi+ on them stockers ain’t gonna last. But maybe he doesn’t care and he’s wanting to smoke them to get upgrades. Still nice setup and runs mate.
thanks man. the car is dialed in on map 6 and pulls incredibly hard. some of the runs shown were performed on a different map setting. when casually driving, the car is normally in map 0 or 5. turbos were replaced on his car a few months ago so they have plenty of life left in them. fbo w/inlets, outlets, e70, custom tune through pure evil tuning, and no backseats/trunk lining
T T if you run FBO with inlets and e85 with a big intercooler you can definitely get 500whp out o the stock turbos. It just depends on the health of the turbos, engine, and the mods/ quality of fuel.
Chris Lake Chris Lake 500whp on stock turbos on daily? I wouldn’t run that on stock no matter how heathy turbos or engine is. But again that’s just me. 335i in the video just seem like it wasn’t max boost setup for 500whp for those races. All I’m saying.
