She may be thin and weak, but she is a BEAUTIFUL Arabian. She seems alert and willing, just love her.
Yeah, I thought the same! She's somehow still gorgeous!
She’s standing. That right there is a good sign. Sick of people not giving them up before they are in horrible shape.
I feel the same.
@@singingstars5006 Something special about Egyptian Arabians.
I knew a super-senior gelding, and he was almost like a dog wanting to get the petting and grooming and attention, would come over to hug and lean on me every time I visited.
This girl is gorgeous, even as thin as she is you can still her regal stance, Arabs hold themselves so proudly and it always stands out....
I know!❤ when I saw the thumbnail I was like “wow this horse has some real potential!” She is so pretty she just needs some help!
Agree 100 %! That was my first thought when I saw her as well!
I own a breeding pair of purebred Egyptian arabians they have the beautiful large eyes dished muzzle. I was thinking of the potential this horse has until I found out the age. If she was younger she would have made a superior brood mare
Head up Baby Girl
@@alysabrumfield9607So you only see value in a horse is if it's fit for breeding? Of course...money, money money, that's all the horse world is about...This poor mare came here frome God knows where, obviously starving and in need of security and tender care, and all you can think of is "Oh, what a lovely horse. I wonder if she can be used as a broodmare to be used and used until she is no longer capable." Breeders and the way they talk about the animals they breed disgust me.
Teeth teeth teeth!!! A 32 year old horse probably has no grinding surface left and can starve on lush pasture because they can’t chew and therefore digest it. So many people don’t know this!
Properly designed food will address this, and I'm sure that the rescue vet is well aware of how to help her.
Yes. She appeared to be on pasture. Her hooves are good so she's had some care. It has to be her teeth or some chronic illness.
My thoughts exactly
@@M.Campbell Teeth and diet are absolutely critical in old age.
There are feeds for horses that have that issue.
32!! Even in her emaciated state she doesn’t look 32! Very elegant!
People helping animals are the best people alive, thank you.
Looks and moves like an arabian.❤
32 years old and had to live alone like that. Thank you for helping her. ❤
It’s hard to imagine letting a horse get so bad. This beautiful old lady deserves the best.
Even though she is so underweight that you can see every bone, she is absolutely stunning!
She not skinny i have seen emaciated horses she not weak
Not a starvation coat wow really dude I have Arabians and raise appaloosas she needs worming teeth check float remember 32 years old too
Probably old probably need her teeth done . I had a 35 year old Arabian ,she died on her birthday she was in good shape. She’s was fat .
She's a gorgeous Arabian mare. You can see how beautiful she is,even starving. Again, people make me sick.
I love animals.. it’s people that aggravate me..
Even in her emaciated state, she walks with grace and elegance!! I'm overjoyed that you could help her!!
She's just stunning
She's SS bright eyed
Even at 32, she's a gorgeous Arab! Imagine what she looked like when she was young and healthy!
Even though she's in awful shape she's still absolutely beautiful. Good luck, gorgeous old lady, I'm so glad she's found a soft place to land.🥺❤️❤️❤️
She doesn't look old to me, only under fed!
Many places charge $7-8.00 a bale for alfalfa.
you have made me cry!!
She’s very alert…she deserves a soft landing and a great rest of life!
She seems to really like seeing other horses. For being in such a bad condition she’s very alert and excited. She’ll be so beautiful.
I choose to look at the silver lining: her feet were in fairly good shape. She moves well. She seems to offer good/safe handling. And she can see! Yay! ❤
32? This old girl deserves so much better.
I believe that this beautiful mare became depressed after her brother died; Subsequently, her Mind, Body and Soul was not nutured, but neglected. Her spiritness and pride became apparant when she saw the horses... she now has the strong will to live... such a sweet girl and those big innocent eyes... love her!
🦋💜🦋
We had that situation many years ago, we had our old mare euthanized. She was 33. Her brother stopped eating properly, his heart was broken. We tried everything! Blood work, teeth checked, changed feed, dewormed again etc. They had been together his entire life, he was depressed and wouldn't eat. It took time and lots of love to get him interested in life again. He celebrated his 35th birthday April 2024 is doing great now slurping down his special "Grandpa porridge"
It's so frustrating that someone could allow a horse to starve and decline to this point without surrendering her to someone. I'm so grateful that she is with you now.
She looks Egyptian bred, and she will come along faster than you think. She would have Nabor, a stallion somewhere in her pedigree, holding a Grey gene. I owned Bri-Sha Arabians. We were a show and heritage farm, until divorce it us, lost all but one of my stallions and 23 mares and 9 yearnings. I was devastated. I wish I could help with funds but I can't, so I will share with my community and pray. May the Lord bless you with abundance and financial support.
Bless you, i know exactly what divorce leads us to lose and it is devestating, animals get hit harder than we do. I lost my treasured dog sasha in my divorce and when i was in a position to go get her back i found that my ex husbands other half had indeed starved her almost to death and the rspca took her and she died in the kennel maids arms a month later, i will live with this horror for the rest of my life. Needless to add, i was promised faithfully that my dog would be cared for until i could find suitable accomodation for my children and of course my angel girl, alas she was gone, i will never forget her.
@lindielou2054 So sorry for your loss. Hopefully, things will get better. I am lost without my foals. They were the best and so loving. They would follow me everywhere and even came into the house and walked around investigating, I had a stud colt that loved to look into the full mirrors in the dining room.
Best wishes to you and yours.
I know you're upset and I know you know this, but I wanted to remind you that if folks hear you saying you tried to get them criminally charged, they won't call you or anyone else for help.
When there is no criminal/evil intent, I've found the best I can do is educate someone, care and help...in any situation like this.
Thank you for all you do. This is beautiful.
We did not try to get anyone criminally charged.
Arabs never give up. Their determination is legendary
Oh my goodness, she's calling out to other horses! This breaks my heart.
I so hope this poor lady gets healthy, and can spend time with other horses again like she deserves!
She’s just beautiful and you can tell a sweet disposition. I’m hoping you can get her healthy and comfortable.
It's so important to have a plan in place for your animals in case of any sudden illness, death, or change in circumstance.
Notice that her hoofs look good and perhaps it is her teeth that are causing a problem. Hope she makes a recovery-someone would love her❤❤
She was even walking different, such a pretty girl
How can she be so sweet and trusting after being starved and neglected? Hope she has at least a few happy, healthy years ahead of her. God bless the animals.
It shows she was well treated before. And someone took great care in training her.
She is sweet and trusting because she is an Arabian who has been well cared for through her life.
Don't think the low weight is due to neglect or deliberate low feed. At her age feed is a challenge for someone who does just not know what is needed.
I'm glad you mentioned the plan is to get her teeth done. When I saw you haltering her on that lush green pasture, I immediately remembered something people in other rescue said: you can have a horse living on a lush green pasture and they will starve if they have bad teeth. And considering her age, I guess it's possible there is not much teeth left. And poor old lady, if she spent big part of her life with her brother, it had to be hard to loose him and not even have different horse for comfort.
We NEED stronger laws against animal abuse and neglect!
This horse is so beautiful even in her present condition. I hope it is possible to help her.❤
When I saw Her, Before Reading, i knew she was an Arab. Dishy Nose.
and Sleek.
I could see had be Neglected, Aweful thin.
She will be ok, just be patient with her. She will Surprise You.
We Took and Adopted Horses and a few other Animals. We had 9 horses, and 5 were Rescues.
Amongst the rest of creatures we had lots of Rescues.
Love Carring for them.
Thank You.
Her back is so hallowed . It breaks my heart. This is a happy news that she is in safe environment now.
hollowed
She looks like a wonderful Arabian mare
OMG her face, when she got of the trailer, and see other horses, she been very lonely bless her
Oh my! she has a lovely demeanor. Must have been such a lonely life but now she has something to look forward to. Bless you and your calling to rescue God's sentient beings.🌸🤗💗
A beautiful Mare even in the state she’s in.
She is beautiful!! Thank you for going to rescue her and picking her up!!
When I saw it was an arabian I had hope, those horses where bred to be able to survive anything. Also coming from a desert they thrive from very little and can sustain longer periods of little food. Longer than the average horse anyway.
It's a testament to that incredible breed that she managed to survive the neglect and starvation specially as old as she is.
It was heartbreaking to see and l’m so glad things ended well for her.
Yes I thought that too! She’s such a beautiful Arabian! And 32 years old!
There is a beautiful little mare under terrible skin and bones. Seems so sweet too.
Poor sweetheart... 😢 Thank you so much for rescuing her!!!
How a horse can be in such a bad continue, can still look as beautiful as she does is crazy.
What a sweet girl! She's stunning, and obviously still so full of life at 32 years old! God bless you for rescuing this senior mare and giving her a chance to live out the rest of her life in a loving environment. ❤❤❤
She is eating that is a good sign
You can see the energy and depression change so much getting off the trailer
She is beautiful. Even very skinny, you can see the Elegance of her and her personality. I can tell she's going to want to be friends with other horses just by how she was talking and calling out to them. I really pray all goes well for her. I am on a set income, and right now I have some health issues that are taking extra money otherwise I would send you some money for her. She is so worth it. I will share this and some of my horse friends may have some funds to send. Thank you for all that you do you are special people.
Thank you 🥰
She already looked happier now that she is with you. Thank you for helping her ❤
Oh I do hope this magnificent mare makes it...she has such beautiful eyes and looks to be a gentle soul...🙏🐎
If they can't take care of the animal give it to someone you can, its not a crime to be poor, it is a crime to starve a person or animal. Thankyou for taking the withered soul I hope to heaven you can help the horse.
She's STUNNING!💔😭
Please, PLEASE check her teeth-she's 32.😢
Goddess bless you ALL.
Better economy = Better Animal Care! Bless this beautiful girl.🐴🙏🐎😍
Ironically, Arabian mares are known for their bravery in battle.
This could be her last one.. I really hope She wins it.
Even now, I can see the beautiful Arab blood shining through.
May God bless you both, she couldn't be in better hands now. ❤💪❤
Even in her state she's still gorgeous 😮
The resilience of an Arabian horse is bred into their DNA. Even as skinny with a poor hair coat she is still one beautiful mare . In three or four months a positive change will happen and post adoption pictures will be the only proof of how far she has come. Best wishes on your continued success and compassionate care of animals who can’t speak for themselves.❤
Did I miss her name? Her senior years need to be better than this. Nutrition, dental, hoof care. She just needs to be cared for. Everyone and everything deserves at least that. Bless you for taking her. 🐴❤️
That horse even in that condition, is so beautiful and still has her dignity. So thankful you saved her
She is adorable! All though Arabians can live up to 40 years old, there are lots of health issues that can cause an older horse to have a tough time keeping on weight. Best Wishes to this sweet 😊 old lady.
Such a beautiful sweet face this mare has. Thankyou so very much for rescuing this pitiful, abused soul ❤❤❤❤
she is gorgeous ❤️ glad she’s found a safe landing
KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD. BE SAFE
What a beautiful girl! Hopefully, she will be saved. Bless you.❤
I concur with what a lot of people have already said. It's very sad that someone lets a gorgeous horse like that get into such a state before they are willing to surrender it. She is absolutely beautiful. A true Arabian the way she stands and holds herself. I am sure you will get her on the right path. The Moons had a horse in a similar state and she pulled through.
Thank you for rescuing Her🥰🙏🐎🙏
My grandfather always said, "if she/he is ill, pray for her/him." They are God's noble creatures. They are probly in sever need of prayers.
This poor baby is beautiful. Please do the best you can to save her.
Bless this poor animal and all her rescuers
Thank you for saving this wonderful innocent poor horse 🐎 God bless you 😢🙏🙏 so sad that happened to her 😭💕💔💔
she is adorable, i wish her much health and happiness in her new place with friends to roll with.
She looks fairly good for her age, so many don’t make it to age 32❤
You can see how beautiful she is, poor girl, she'll be alright now❤
Aww the poor girl. 32! Sometimes they just go skin and bones at these older ages because of their teeth. Good rescue! 🙂
That being said from animal control is CRIMINAL! THEY NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE TOO! 💔🐎😪
I feel NO pity for anyone starving animals. Especially since there's always options for rescue, donations of food/supplies ect. The solution isn't to keep an animal when you as an owner have no means to properly care for that animal! Either care/treat the animal as you should or give the animal to someone that can! I'm so glad to see this beautiful 😍 girl has some help finally. Praying 🙏 for her!
What about the many animals in shelters? There are thousands of them. You are unrealistic, and unthinking! Would you rather they were destroied? They wouldn't!
And what about the thousands of horses sent to slaughter every year? Who would pay for them? You are unrealistic and unthinking. Or maybe just uncaring and virtue signalling, just looking for social approval!
You are a blessing to this horse.
That sweet mare looked so hopeful coming off the trailer. I hope she does well❤
I can tell that although the rescuer from RH Farm Rescue is holding it together, she is really affected! No surprise there.
Thank you for showing mercy
DONATE AND SAVE ANIMALS ALL WHO CAN
It's sad (and criminal) that someone who obviously can't take care of an animal, won't give it away before reaching such a horrible state. Why people think it's ok to let animals suffer is beyond my comprehension.
It is hard to rehome unridable senior horses. Have purchased senior horses that
ended up being pasture pets. Also saw numerous situations of unsound yet ridable
horses looking for my next mount. Wish there was a food bank for people how can't afford hay as they and their horses age!!
@@Flash3-22I'm sorry, but I don't understand people who buy horses just to ride and then discard them once they are old. If you take on an animal, it should be a commitment for life. Also, animals are not disposable and I hate how people refer to unridable horses as "pasture pets". If you are into horses just for riding, you don't truly care about the horse and its needs. Not all horses can be ridden, but all horses deserve a loving home.
@@leavrhovec4992 I don’t see anything wrong with the term pasture pet - I’ve seen it used by people who are keeping seniors/unrideable horses and still giving them the care they need. These people might be in a relative minority, for understandable reasons, but they do exist.
It’s a description, not a pejorative.
I took a supposedly starving horse--it was a health condition, not starvation, and it cost me hundreds of dollars and i still had to put her down. It is easy to jump to the conclusion that the horse needs food. But if it had an internal problem no amount of food can help it.
@@diminudivadollhaus2097 It doesn't matter the cause, it was clear as day wasn't it? We don't need apologists to excuse bad behavior. And worse case, if no one will take the animal to care for it, it's always better to put it down than to let it suffer for years on end.
She's a Grand Old Dame!! My gosh, she's gorgeous!!!!
That head shape - Arabian! Beautiful animal - even emaciated & 32 years old. Thank goodness for people like this.
Everyone that wants to donate please do it via their website, because RUclips takes half sometimes more.
Ignorance is no excuse. So sad. Hope you are able to save her. Thanks for trying!
Thank You!
What a shame that beautiful horse was so neglected! Thank you for the work you do to help animals in need! ❤
Surprised by how her feet look, was expecting them to be worse. Hope she recovers well.
I thought so too.
Glad you were called❤❤ I wish you were called sooner.
When I watched her getting into the trailer I thought she looked like an Arabian. I liked that she was very interested in her new surroundings and definitely perked up. Surely that's a good sign you can save her and help her have a happy last few years. Looks like she was depressed from losing her brother and being alone for so long. Poor thing. 💜🐴
Thank You! ❤️
People need to start helping their neighbors and people in need. It brings such Joy.
She’s a beauty. Exquisite Arabian head.
Thank God for recuse beautiful horses 🐎 🙏 living life's ❤️ matters ✨️ 🙏 saving Beautiful life horses 🐎 living life matters 🐎 😊God bless you all angels
She looked excited as soon as there was any change.
What a lovely dish! Despite her poor condition, you can really see the good breeding lines!
Food and vet care, is what she needed, and anyone can see that. Nutrition is vital.
I am watching this after seeing a later video. It turns out she mostly needed appropriate food and "care". The opportunity to move more, someone to pay attention. Not just any food but trial and error for what is best for her. I am glad she got rescued it is the appropriate term for her new home.
She is GORGEOUS. I already love her.
Love this mare's dish face. She walks with the Arabian elegance . I love her and pray for her .
Thank you for saving her.
Really glad you got her
So painful. I have a small sanctuary in WA state, if u r close i would be happy to take her. I have rescued a few Arabs. OMG how could they do this. Would love to help. Probably bad teeth and need senior mash. Thank you sooo much❤❤❤ Janice
We're over in NC so might be a haul! Thanks for watching
This is the first time that I am watching that beautiful Arabian horse, I hope she
will make it....❤❤❤❤Thank you...
