Nicely saved! How do Aussies feel about those 'road worthy' certificate? Here in the States, some have 'annual inspection' and some have 'smog test' and people feel these inspections may be opportunities for unethical repair shops overcharging innocent customers !
Thank you. In Queensland state, we only need to get a roadworthy certificate to sell a car or register after having no plates. So it is also a buyer protection mechanism too which is good. The tests are comprehensive (includes testing, suspension, belts, lights, tyres, brakes, leaks, and more, but no smog test is done as long as there is no visible smoke) some mechanics are easy going and others are pedantic.
Good save Max, that was lucky you picked it up straight away. Always take your time with spark plugs they will always break if you rush, I was told this by an old mechanic many decades ago
Have you done anything crazy like this to your car? Hydro-locking the engine is the last thing anyone wants to experience... Please share your thoughts, feedback...
My friend, there’s a tool that specifically made to remove the spark plug boot without breaking them. I’m sure you must know that since you have a lot more experience with Mercedes than I do. Good video though. Australia looks beautiful. What part is that?
Great tip!
Always go gently when cleaning an engine bay, you saved yourself a lot of heartache with your skill and awareness.
🤘
Thanks mate :)
