I’m sure you get this question ALOT! But where is that intake manifold? Looks like a N/A but it’s facing forward. Thank you in advance. Love your video’s. SO much Knowledge learned! Thank you!! 👍🏽
KC barret? How do I get a hold of that guy? I actually just ordered the exact same injectors for the same exact car! Same color too! Pretty stoked to get them installed. I think I have the same fuel rail too. I got a BNR 50 trim turbo. Hits like a hammer, but slow to spool... The ones I ordered are used... so I wanted to make sure they were clean before putting them in. I am replacing DW's. Which are absolute garbage. I have had nothing but problems with my fuel delivery since I put those in.
Dude good call all around on ditching the dw's and cleaning the new ones. look him up on FB. It's Casey barret. If not him I think you can send them to ID too.
Supertuner sweet. I'll see if I can find him. I did try before..... but I couldn't find him. I'll try again. I found that injector dynamics in north sl does it too. I still haven't put them in yet..... dw is garbage
So I disassembled my ej253 intake manifold and I kinda didn’t touch it for a whole month but I just wanted to know if it matters what sensors goes to which fuel injector out of the two would it matter if you plugged to either one or is there a specific order to put them on
Do you mean which plug goes to which injector? There are not sensors connecting to the injectors. If you mean what plug goes to what injector yes i believe it does matter. I have never hooked them up in the wrong order though.
My car has a loud ticking sound, its not an exhaust leak nor rod knock, my cobb stats are good. Lately its gotten louder. Im thinking it may be the injectors. 2014 hatch wrx
Just finished installing the Cobb 1050X injectors along with IAG V3 Fuel rails, and lines. Primed the fuel system and all 4 injectors are leaking fuel badly out of the top, between the fuel rail and injector. All the seals should be good, i lubed them well and they all felt to seat properly. Any idea what the problem could be?
With all four leaking bad I would see if the specific injectors and fuel rails are compatible. Some injectors and fuel rails have spacers as well to accommodate the length of different rail and injector combinations. But check that the injectors are tight in the seat on both ends.
Supertuner huge thanks for the reply. Just in case anyone else make a dumb mistake like I did, on the Cobb 1050x injectors there are caps on the end, those install into the tgvs first and then install the injectors. My mistake was I didn’t push those little caps completely in so my rails and injectors were not seating right.
This makes me want to rip everything out of my engine bay. Wow
SAAAAME I still want to clean mine up a lot
If you ever install this ID1000, take the top donut from your light blue injector and place it on your ID1000. They leak when you’re doing over 21psi.

It’s actually just the stock manifold reversed. You can turn it around and bolt it up with a few other modifications.
Noob question, what did you do with the fuel pressure regulator, because the stock one I thought had to be on the fuel rail
It's on the driver's side by the fire wall on the fuel line

know of anyone that can dyno and tune as well? besides inj. dynamics?
Don't you need to replace the O-rings before you reinstall the injectors?
Depending on condition. I inspected them and tested for leaks so I didn't need to replace them. But in the past, I have needed to replace them.

Can I install them on stock rail ??
Yeah

Any cel codes?
No
My 2014 hatch, and my 03 bugeye I know have had loud injector ticking but I was told it's pretty normal.

Or better yet they are spacers as stated by super tuner.
oh awesome! Yeah I don't think me calling them spacers was the right terminology they are probably caps but I'm stoked you figured it out! nice work.
@@Supertuner installing my injectors this week.. glad to know this
How did you completely delete your coolant reservoir?
It is a bad idea ha ha it makes it really hard to get air bubbles out!
Makes me miss the widebody bugeyes I built in 07 :/
Where is the hood repair vid?
That one is still up in the air ha ha. Such a dumb and expensive mistake!
theunsactionedpro hood beyond repair lol
But what about side feed Jordan?!! lol
They shouldn’t exist.
