I don't know why I watch this in bed. My tummy is growling!! You seem like such a sweet bloke. I need to eat in your restaurant!! Thankyou for all your wisdom xx
Wonderful! Would you be able to do a basic, straight, 'Chicken Korma Home Style', done from your lovely mum's house like you sometimes do? Love this channel!
Great recipe I have done it several times but sometimes difficult to follow as you are doing other dishes at the time any chance of doing it again and with the recipe!
Came across your channel by accident but what a great find. Massive fan of Asian food, indian you name it. Great respect to you for showing how to make some awesome looking food in as simple way as possible. Keep up the great work
Great to watch you cook, i have had many cooking lessons in India, and love my cooking here in the uk, please keep the videos coming, when im up your way next, we will visit your restaurant and hope to have a chat about cooking with you, Rgds Mr Herbs
Mate, I live in Thailand and have been cooking your curries for the last three months. They are fantastic. If I come back to the UK yours will be the first restaurant I visit. Many thanks for the videos.
Where and what would you recommend me to purchase a good aluminium frying pan? There seems so many on the internet, some cheap, some a little more expensive.
I just discovered this channel a coupla weeks ago. It's great!! I've been cooking Indian/Bangladeshi food for many years, both authentic and BIR, but what I love about Latif's videos is, as well as getting an insight into a live working kitchen, which I find fascinating, is the mix between authentic and BIR recipes...Brilliant Latif. Keep up the great work. I've flicked through to 1 or 2 of my favourite dishes, but am now working my way through them all...Cheers mate
Tony Carroll Fab news mate! Good to hear! Bangladeshi/Bengali chefs and restaurantS are best tasting Indian food in the UK. Check out Pat Chapmans book on Bangladeshi Restaurant Curries. I, like many Bengali’s rarely eat out, no need when I can dine like a king at home! All the best!
I made it !is my first korma is delicious😋well organised clean kitchen well done guys!only negative the boys who tested were not very excited doesn’t encouraging people well to try the recipe or the restaurant.but is not the chef fault , great team !
OMG I just made this for the second time but used thigh meat with bone in this time instead of breast, much tastier! Thank you, this is now our favourite recipe. My neighbour just texted me and asked what the beautiful smells were so I dropped them some round to try. Gorgeous
what im liking is the variation of ingredients and techniques, plus fairplay ive viewed the tomato puree one as well nice touch, best of all is this chef loves what his doing you can clearly see that, that alone is enough to make yer mouth water cause thats what them meals do for me....
Absolutely loving your videos and recipes, amazing flavours, I've cooked a few of your recipes and the results are amazing, are you going to do a recipe book?
I am amazed by your culinary skills. WOW! You inspire me to appreciate my small kitchen, considering the high flow of “traffic” and activity taking place in your restaurant kitchen (well-organised). Tip: Try not to lick your fingers nor taste anything with your fingers, because it is atrocious chef etiquette. You are amazing!
Very good channel lovely food with lots of useful information, but please don't put hot food into plastic containers.... It releases chemicals that are not good for the health.
Great channel, can i request a video for chicken korma BIR style with pre-cooked chicken and base gravy, after following your guides my wife wants me to make her a Korma?
At 12:17 time you add white to it, I think you say Kier is this something specific or is it just cream? Im trying to write the recipe as I watch the video, thanks
I love chicken, and your recipes have given me some great ideas for making dishes that are "new" and inspired. And as we all know, there are many kinds of "chickens", world-wide, that could be applied to these dishes, like partridges, quails, guinea fowl, wild grouse, pheasants, as well as our standard domestic chickens, of many breeds and types (for roasting, frying, stewing, etc.). Thanks!!
@@ianthomas1060 LOL. No, but I hear it is quite popular with the Eskimos!! And at least one of the Beatles liked it too, and it inspired that song or theirs with the lyrics of "I am the walrus...etc. etc."! LOL ;D
Latif what are the ingredients to make a BIR Korma sauce please. Made a few of your recipes and they are superb.. wish your restaurant was nearer to me. !!!!!
@Seeking Khalwa Right, a lot of folks come from around the world to this channel to get cooking ideas. Without restrictions, one could use these sauces and spices on a variety of meats, or veggies. For example, most Americans and Brits will eat almost anything, except bugs, grubs, worms, dogs, snakes, lizards, monkeys, big bats, and all kinds of "gut meats", etc., which other cultures around the globe regularly eat "with relish"! So eat whatever you like, but Never Ever tell me what I can eat!! :D
WASD - The Home of Frag Movies Latif is a British Bengali Muslim. Bengali Muslims cook many different types of delicious Beef curries and are experts in many types of meat, fish and veg. ALL MUSLIMS do not touch any pork or similar product.
I always wondered about that too, but finally in one video he said he adds some fresh coriander to his ginger occasionally which gives it the green color.
@@LatifsInspired Why is it called vegetable ghee if it's not butter-based? Doesn't the word "ghee" mean clarified butter? I'm confused what the difference is between veg ghee and veg oil.
I must ask you Latif how come when you shake a frying pan forwards and backwards over a normal sized gas flame, you get flames leaping up half a metre in the air (that's 2 feet high), enough to set fire to the kitchen celing? And you're not even doing Flambé techniques. I'd set off all the heat and smoke alarms in my kitchen if that happened. It looks scary but why does it happen? Doesn't the food burn? Quite a puzzle.
What exactly is vegetable ghee? Ghee is made from butter which is made from pure heavy cream, how do veggies come in to this? Why do you always remove the chicken skin?

Made this earlier, very nice thanks!

Indians don't cook with Beef you should know that

Looks clean..and wearing gloves ..good..
practical for handling raw poultry, disposable gloves!
Must be so much fun to work there!
Where is your restaurant based btw? Is it in London - Whitechapel; Aldgate somewhere??
Stoke on Trent. Crewe Road I believe. Seems like worth a trip up! And I'm more than 6,000 miles away! 😆
Love love love this channel. Taste test at the end got a bit tense for a moment but worked out ok :D
Mr. Latif Chef. What does 'Desi' actually mean please? Thank you.
That's a hygienic cloth? Wipes the cooker then spoon

Why no ground almond or sultanas in there?

Fantastic.. Respect
I love your cooking but you use way more green chilies and peppers than I like. I wonder if it's Bangladeshi style.
When he says "teaspoon" he's holding a tablespoon. When he says "tablespoon" he's holding a spoon for a giant.
That's so true. I think it took me a couple of videos to rewire my brain, but now I just accept it for what it is! LOL!

Salaam Latif, I’m desperate for a chicken dansak Latif, your recipes are being used here in Thailand 🇹🇭 inshallah you reply.
Found the dansak it’s delicious 😋
Best korma ever!

great cooking buy stainles steel on a ally pan not good look it up
When you put the green pepper in better to put roasted pepper better flavour..
Respect Brother Chef Latif! Can you show us a Shahi Paneer Recipe?
Interesting that you grate the veggies, that’s got to be better that slicing, especially for making a sauce and for cooking quicker.
Its very nice but nothing like any of the restaurants I've had
I'd love to know how to cook the proper restaurant style recipe!
Depends where you go the better places it looks like this and the not so good ones tend to be very light in colour and sweet.
Please can you make lamb nihari latiff that would be great!
please dont double dip
Can’t go wrong with a korma
