He's the kind of guy that would call an A320 or B737 a "jumbo" And if you look down a few comments you'll see he can't spell either, using mike for mic.
It is very cool. And at 400 knots max cruise speed, it rivals many private jets. It's a fast as, and has a larger cabin, than a Citation M2, and burns less fuel. (The M2 will outclimb it though) The real issue with the Avanti is noise. The interior is reportedly very quiet compared to other turboprops - I've never been in one. But many airport neighbors don't like them. Their exterior noise is within legal limits, but the "pusher" prop configuration behind the engine exhaust makes them sound like a mosquito that you can hear from a couple of miles away. I have had them go over my house from a very nearby airport. They are a thing of beauty, but I have to admit I wouldn't want to hear that loud buzzing around the clock. With all that said, the Avanti EVO you rode in has a new type of prop and engine exhaust that apparently makes it a little less annoying.
Couldn't hear half of what was being said. Suggestion: Shoot your video and add the sound later without all the background noise. Simples. Oh, and about the Jet comment. A turbo prop works on jet engine principles if you bother to check out the inner workings but never mind if this aircraft is faster, flies higher and is much bigger inside than a lot of executive jets today, such as Learjet, try standing up in that if you are not a midget. I was repatriated in one of these after a ski accident in the Alps by Oyonnair a medevac operator in Lyon. The doctors were able to stand up and treat me during the flight. The bigger door made it easier to get me out on a stretcher and the sill was around 5ft off the ground I guess as I had a nurse walking alongside my stretcher looking down at me as I came off the plane. If I had $7 million this would be a contender. Much faster than a KingAir, any KingAir, quieter too. A very comfortable flight considering the state I was in. Thanks Piaggio.
Why is he scrunched into a corner for nearly the whole video with literally zero head room while mentioning how spacious the aircraft is. lol. Funny guy.
Okay, "Player", just a bit of advice. Act like you've been there before instead of the high pitched squealing you were doing before going to the airplane. If "player" is in reference to "I have money, ergo, I'm a player", you might want to rethink your stance on purchasing a $7.7 million airplane. Operating costs per hour if you hire 2 pilots is stunning. Isn't the smarter investment in fractional ownership with an established provider?
fastest propeller driven airplane you can buy. Faster than several small jets.
Is it just me, or is everyone else ticked that he calls this a jet instead something like the "Best Possible Turbo-Prop".

It technically is a Jet engine. Just not a turbofan
The EVO has improvements that reduce engine noise considerably
Nice plane but the audio was terrible :/
You can fly it with one pilot too.Nice aircraft
Good video but i could barely hear you. Please use a good sound mic next time.
He's relying on the camera's internal mic when he should be using an external so think you mean he should get better equipment.
I know it’s a prop but it’s still a cool bit of kit

Thanks for the info
Does it have a lavatory?
Yes I believe so but never had to use it! Thanks for the comment
You keep calling it a Private Jet, it is not a Jet it is a Turboprop!!
Thanks for pointing that out!
It's been referred to as a propjet so you're not completely wrong.
Yeah, nobody flies a private jet then. They are all Turbofans. Only the few people owning a F 14 or something would actually own a jet.
Where is the jet???
Nice Private Piaggio, similar in speed to a jet, but not a jet.
Agreed, but it’s a private jet experience how would you title it
when you say jets you mean turbofan :- 1
Correct. The term Jet is a term of endearment not an observation
Wtf...7 minutes into this and he finally shows us the interior...on the ground. Its not a jet mate...

i dont like the sign on the rolls
Too much noise, is the camera or the plane?
We had an issue with security and in the rush left the mikes on the ground so had to make do with camera mike
Why is he scrunched into a corner for nearly the whole video with literally zero head room while mentioning how spacious the aircraft is. lol. Funny guy.
He's British. They act a little odd sometimes 🤣
Onboard footage I sadly left the directional mike in the camera bag as was in a rush to get on board!
Terrible! Most of the vid was him showing his face. Would have been nice if he would have done a deep dive into the passenger cabin.
Too much talking! Poor video quality
Sounds noisy to me.
Don't talk.. FLY
Love your comment many thanks and yes I agree just fly
Doesn't look like he belongs there to be honest.
Lol 2:48
