I got to fly private once for work. It was a Gulfstream, and much roomier than the Citation in this video. The windows were much larger than airline windows, and we had a flight crew onboard. The biggest surprise for me was how quickly these jets take-off. One can really feel the g-forces. The advantages, beyond the room to move about, are skipping lines, parking, etc. Since then it's been back to reality, flying coach.
What a great experience The thing about flying private that’s so different than commercial is it saves so much time not only in the terminal, but in the taxi time and even more so in the approach to the airport. The approaches to private jet/executive airports are so much faster and more direct and you typically don’t have to sit in the traffic pattern forever. Looks like everyone had a wonderful time. I spent 34 years of my current age of 68 working as a Licensed Mechanic on Citations for the Cessna Aircraft Co. I am very familiar with that model and itis a good one. Not as fast as some but is very versatile.Looks like you had a good time, Cheers to you and the Family.

Kym, I had the ability to fly private in a King Air many times across the US for work. No food and beverages, but the convenience of flying through private terminals and departing when ready was spectacular. Loved seeing your family in this video. Enjoy Barcelona! PS-Happy Birthday!!!!🥳
Mercedes flew a bunch of us out to their factory in Alabama with the appropriately named MillionAir on a G4. Michelin flew us on their Falcon 900 both really comfortable but MillionAir provided bubbly, jumbo prawn sandwiches.
I was lucky enough to have use of my employer's private jet a few years back, I'm sure it wasn't the cheapest way to get from A to B (not that I had to pay) but the time saving alone was worth it, we ended up saving 3-4 hours of waiting in airports every time we made the trip.
From having flown often since I was little, just thinking about omitting airport layover time by flying private makes me want to win the lottery RIGHT NOW.
Many large corporations do not allow their CEOs to fly Private due to lack of Maintenance of most Private Planes. I once flew Private with our CEO, CFO and a few Board Members to a Meeting with NetJets here in the US. It was the most convenient way to travel for sure. If you can afford it, hell yes. It is one of those things that makes you realize having lots of Money is Fun!
