What I lost travelling from London to Perth!

- Following the British GP I spent some time in London before heading to Vienna with BA for the Austrian GP. It was on this leg that I parted company with my $15k Canon 600mm lens, encountered a fellow F1 photographer and lost a credit card.
After that it was a 24hr journey home to Perth for a week ahead of the French GP at Circuit Paul Ricard. This time I flew Qatar Airways’ Q suite for the long leg. It is probably the best business class product I have experienced in my F1 travel history.

The tube is the best way to travel to the airport from central London
I don't think kymmy boy flying first all round the world to shoot f1 as a hobby, would even consider or know what public transport is
Heathrow Express or Elizabeth line? Why would you endure the tube in this heat?

This F1 season seems somewhat more "relaxed" to the past few. I'm glad you get a chance to return home to Australia during the season and that you get to share your travels with your wife. I really like your channel.
That’s bc Lewis isn’t there to aggravate Max…all of the three challengers to Max are either his friends or very well liked and they get along great…the last three GPs Lewis has been third and the pressure is palpable…he refused to even acknowledge or speak to Max in the cooldown room last time and Max did the same. Ugh, I prefer when Lewis isn’t there because I like the healthy competitive, but not poisonous environment
I travel often from Wisconsin to Okinawa thru Toyko and find airports exhausting. I do enjoy the flights.
People that fly occasionally find it exhausting I don't k ow how people like kym do it.
@@xuxon24 Once you learn the tricks, places to go in airports (the lounges and such), and fly in business/first class it becomes much more tolerable and you're just used to it. Sometimes these days I actually find flying to be rather relaxing, noise cancelling headphones, then zone out for a while. I'm not getting calls/emails while in air, so it's a nice break.

Kym, I am trying my best to make it to either Austin or Las Vegas 2023, would love to meet and say hello! I hate to sound like every other American but DTS really got me interested in F1!
Its ok…DTS is just a gateway drug into the sport that’s all….I live a 12 hour road trip to Las Vegas from Colorado and I’ll be fighting ya for those tickets! 😊. As soon as they become available I’ll be there…I tried to block off every weekend at the Venetian and other resorts on the Strip, but wisely, they aren’t booking any of the November weekends until the dates are announced by the FIA! 😂
Too many people were trying to book all four weekends in November (the month the GP will be in) with the idea of canceling the three that aren’t the correct weekends once the actual weekend is announced…the bastards they’re on to us lol. It’ll be me and my teenage daughter…only the girls in my family are into motorsports can you believe it? Weird.
Your travel videos are unique on RUclips. Being an F1 fan and somebody who would like to travel the planet again one day, it’s really interesting to do it vicariously with you as the video escort around the world. Much appreciated

It is good to see some travel commentary about the places that us regular tourists use. 😉 The comments about the tube are correct but they forget that you have a large amount of luggage!

Never take a cab to Heathrow. Take Heathrow express train. 35 pounds. No traffic

@@thegotterdammerung Heathrow express is an exclusive service, you can get there on tube for $5. Cheaper than any I went on in Us, somewhere like vegas there’s is no transport to the strip, you have to get a taxi or Uber.

From the title, I thought you'd lost your lens on the nonstop London-Perth flight on Qantas, which seems pretty hard to do. Would you ever take such a long flight? It does save on the Middle Eastern stopover.

You paid $9.40 USD per gallon for fuel in Austria. Currently Gasoline in Wichita, Ks USA it costs $4.21 per gallon down from a peak of $4.69 and people are crying their eyes out. I can't imagine what would happen if it went that high here.

I really ask myself, why he is heading back to AUS now and not after hungary. He would have much more time.. travelling from europe to australia and back after 1.5 weeks seems a bit lavish in my eyes. But anyways, great video as always!
