HUGE Gains with Stand Alone ECU on V8 Swap

  • I can't believe how much better the 1UZ runs with the stand alone. The factory 92 LS400 ECU was making the engine run so poor that the aftermarket stand alone ECU and harness from Spitronics made a HUUUGE difference.

Love the UZ swap! These motors (1uz, 2uz, 3uz) are very underrated in my opinion. I just 300k on my 2uz and it runs super smooth, checked valve clearance when I did timing belt at 270k and all valves were right in the middle of factory spec still. I’ve had great luck with reliability, and those 1UZ’s can make some good power on stock internals
