I love how every simple thing she’s talking about turns into a deep conversation about her life and feelings, and then she just moves on to the next thing. Like she goes from talking about how people can really be good to saying she wants to do more workout classes. 😭

when you started talking about the 5-9 girlies and things along those lines i really resonated with that. it’s hard to be that person when you aren’t living in those settings. “not waking up to a granite counter top, minimalistic room” was just so real and refreshing to hear because i thought i was the only one who felt that way. I don’t have the same motivation as the person in the video because I’m just not motivated in general, and it’s not like seeing that video helps me get motivated if anything it’s just a constant reminder of a place where I’m not at in life. But then again this also refers back to one of my “in’s” / resolutions i made for myself which is to focus on my own progress and not let what i see others doing on social media get me down or even worse start comparing them to myself.
’ never been a resolution girl for the new year either . What I do is choose a word of the year that encapsulates my aspirations and values, such as "gratitude," "resilience," or "growth" a
word that can serve as a source of inspiration and guidance throughout the year that you intentionally seek in every moment, good and bad.
That is absolutely amazing. I usually pick a music album that'll represent me and lift me up to remember my goals. Works great too

The way you describe the passage of time is so accurate. I also felt like I was 5 forever, 10 forger, 15 forever but as soon as I entered my 20’s, a year feels like a few months and it’s scary, I’m 22 now and it feels like I’m gonna be in my thirties before I know it

I always used to make tea at house parties (I have stopped drinking completely now) when I was like 19 and didn't want to drink at every party, and one time I had a bunch of drunk people asking me if I could also make them some tea. Always seen as a weird request whenever I had to find the host of the party asking if it was okay if I made tea in the kitchen though.

The handwriting thing to remember things better is SUCH an issue for me too and I'm a comp sci student so it's real awkward walking into 3rd year courses with nothing but a notebook

About the petry dish stuff with the vaseline; You put the qtip in the vaseline, put it on your lips, and 'double dipped' the same qtip in the vaseline pot. Either switch sides of the qtip or put enough on it the 1st time because you still put bacteria/germs in the pot after having it touch your lips the 1st time tbf.... just looking out for you haha

2. No drinking.
3. Eat healthy (e.g. fish)
4. Tea.
5. More female friends, but keep close ones minimal. And choose ones that are oriented in the aspect of life you wanna be oriented in.
6. Try new workout classes. Especially morning ones.
7. Interacting with people. The world is not over.
8. Trying new things (e.g. random seminars)
Generally do little things to please your life.
