i say happy to be acknowledged. i was ADA and we weren't glamorous. but our fuelers were right in the shit with us, sometimes filling in when we needed them, working extra long hours compared to our long hours in the field. the real ones know, yall are a necessary . think about it, how often, do troops hit that water buffalo, and the cooks? without yall, the frontlines dont operate nearly as efficent. they are busying drinking snake blood like rangers :P. Who cares what Civvies think, let them laugh it brings awareness. service members understand, thats why its funny to us too. like it seems so useless to the outsider, but in a conventional war we will need to extract water from natural sources. rather than transporting it.

This man is speaking facts, growing up in a military family. I had to go out on a 10 mile run and i could not return home until i did ten miles. I am currently trying to go into the military myself.

Hell, growing up I had breathing problems (later found out to be black mold growing in the house, so that's exciting), so my dad tried that.. but I'd collapse. instead, he would have me helping him with his vehicles, yard work, etc. I still remember my mom freaking out cause he had me clean the gutters when i was 15😂
i actually called and thanked my recruiter from basic...half as a joke but i was actually thankful. also because he was in the guard unit i was going to and was aking about rumored deployment we went on.
Active, reserve, and guard, at least in the airforce, go through the same training. The standards are the same for everyone. It is after training that the difference comes in. But I agree the person is being soft and shouldn’t be wining about a little pain in his muscles. Push through it. Period!

I remember our 1st and 2nd platoon got in trouble during riot control training, the trainers told us to take it serious, and we did, the problem was the instructor had to stop it when they realized how serious we were taking it we were going at like 80 to 90% the instructors stopped us and told us we needed ro dial it down to about 40 %
the last part was so true. Im with my boyfriend who is currently in bootcamp for the navy, and when i told my coworker about him she started freaking out and telling me that all men in the navy are abusers and have anger issues and all that. I was there like uh ok....
U would be surprised what weirdos think bput others.
I meet grown women in their 30s or 40s all the time that think me being a decorated army vet is a major red flag!

There's a recruiting office in front my old college. A recruiter found me on lunch & asked if I wanted to join the Army. He swore it'd be just like CoD. & I still said no, because I didn't want to be shot at. He got mad & said "Dude! Nobody's gonna shoot at you!"

Lol. My ex was a trash soldier. He once "lost" a 5-ton truck. My best friend who was in his company finally broke down and told me what my husband did. I dead panned faced him and asked, "Did you check the motor pool across the street from his girlfriends parents house?" He called the next day, "Found it right where you said it was." 🤣😄🤦 That divorce was a riot. Damn, he's stupid. My dad had him shipped to Europe. 🤣

I wish I met Nik a few year ago. I wanted to join any branch. To fight for those that couldn't. But my fears got in my way. Not death perse but I was heights which is fear which may seem it is from fear. Love your videos. Never been to anything military related, other than home (my dad was in the army 36 years ago, he's fine, he didn't do much (which is what everybody does)), but living Germany and daddy Vladdy approaching (at snail pace, but still) I have been considering the reserves.

Dude literally I’m supposed to ship out in a month and some people in my DEP(delayed entry program) group can hardly do twenty push ups and groan whenever we have to run a mile, mf’s aren’t gonna survive.

I’m 12 almost 13 and have done 50 push ups in a row. Crazy how grown men can’t to 20 🤦♂️ BUT only the small percent is weak in the military. I know people in the military and they are tough as nails. I think we will be fine

The P.E. class I was in during middle school (mid 90's) had to do wall sits/iron chair the entire period (45 minutes), because someone a day prior through a rock over the fence and it when through a passing cars windshield.
