A kid from my basic training threw his phone down the amnesty box. He tried to get it back and the drill sergeant was like “that chute goes to a f*cking dumpster guy”.
Hahaha

I was injured during training so I was sitting on the sidelines just drawing in a notebook that I stuck in my camel back but my drill sergeant ended up finding it and he asked me to paint a mural on the wall in the bay so if anyone who goes to sand hill in D-1-46 you will see a American flag punisher skull
Which base is it at

Haha hope they still have it there then when I go.
that was my company d 1-46 was it daggers or dealers?
cuz there were 2 of them
My sister had a kidney infection when she first started boot camp. She had to be pulled out and put in the hospital for 2 weeks and then restart it. She was almost sent home because she was so sick they thought they might have to remove a kidney. My brother entered 2 weeks after her so they started at the same time. (They’re twins so it’s not surprising to me that they both decided to enlist). Now she’s stationed in South Korea and he’s starting army ranger training later this year. He just finished his military intelligence training thing, now he’s a 6’2” ginger who speaks fluent iraqi Arabic.
thats amazing and very cool, hopefully they both find happiness in life.
Female drill sgt had overnight duty, I was working the CQ watch during sick call hours on a Sunday morning.
DS looks at the sign out sheet for sick call, looks me dead ass in the face and said “ wtf is wrong with you guys all wanting to go to sick call? My pussy hurts but you don’t hear me crying about it.”
Couldn’t stop laughing
Dammmmm
Hahahahahahha
Ya I remember those trainees tried to do that to me I had vicious words for them. I would threaten them by saying you'll clean all the traps out in every single shower if your faking it. We got away with so much stuff. We're doing Drill and ceremonies and the CSM walks up behind me and says why do they have they're hands in their pockets I said well they're holding the rocks....I said CSM they have suddenly forgotten their left from their right...he laughed and I don't see anything turned around and left....haha.

Well she was probably worried of y'all collapsing later

@@redblankie1219 Mental problems do not make a person weak. Apparently, the psychological fitness testing is lacking in the service. This to me is completely inexcusable.
A really tall black kid in my platoon in basic training just said ✌️and WENT HOME! Not only that, he took his rifle with him when he left! Before the army could track him down, he just showed back up and tried to sneak into morning formation like he’d never left! As we were standing there in formation, the MPs came up and quietly led him away in handcuffs. We never heard what ended up happening to him.
that's crazy
That’s so weird why would he think they wouldn’t notice 🤣
My half brother was at basic, and he was told the drill instructors can’t touch you, so he was being a smartass, and then he was slapped, and that gave him the “fear” factor he needed to get through basic and switch from a civilian mindset.
They’re not allowed to hit you. It’s against regulation 350-6. …………that.. that doesn’t mean is doesn’t happen. 😂😂
Great advices: 1.) Avoid creating unwanted attention. 2.) Observe everything around. 3.) Be a team player. 4.) Don't quit / Never give up.
5.) Try not to be the first one to do anything. I.E. : In line for shooting, repel tower, or anything new the Drill Sergeants/ Instructors throw at you..
I suck at number 4 I'm good at 1-3 if I know I suck at it I'll quit easily but seek the knowledge and try to learn the skills needed but when I have that gut feeling ill be in the way I let mire competent people go at it and complement with my strengths
Rule 1: KEEP YOUR FEKING MOUTH CLOSED EARS OPEN
Rule 2: never volunteer
Rule 3: they say jump you ask how high

Why you got to remind me 2002 was 20 years ago.
Graduated 4 years ago and a drill got punished badly for slamming a kid to the ground. Wasn't even that bad, but the kid made a huge scene. Drill was old school but taught us alot. That's why all of my senior leaders want to get out.

Flashbacks from 1998 when i went through 30th AG looks exactly the same as i remember it day 1!!!! Still have my folder from back then with 20 + years in. Wow how the military has gotten so soft its scary!
14:34 This might be the most Army response I've ever fucking seen I love it so much
I’m mainly worried that if a drill sergeant was yelling in my face I would smile or laugh and piss them off. I could be scared shitless but for some reason I have an uncontrollable reflex to laugh or smile when I’m scared or getting beaten.
Yesssss, me too! I uncontrollably smile sometimes when things are awful. Like seriously awful, worst time, I consciously don’t want to be smiling-and something smiles without my permission. It sucks.
I would anger every drill sergeant and get myself beat up.
same, just full on chuckles sometimes
We had guys that did that in basic. Didn't end well for anyone. Good times though

I went through basic in 1997 at benning. You should compare the then and now.
I went through basic in 1976. All Drill Sergeants had been in Vietnam!!! They were tough.
18:30 Yesss I was waiting for you to being up how at day 5 or whatever you felt so much better than day 1's. This weird microcosm of human society and classism forms in basic. It's honestly super surreal. Once you're a month in and you start to get a grasp on the big game that is basic training, it becomes fun. I went to Ft. Knox for tanker Osut, and that 5 or so months I was there felt like years when I left.
"They're worse than the dudes". I was nodding my head in fierce agreement. Female drill Sgts can get scary.
Female Drill Sergeants are the meanest fuckers I’ve ever seen I’m my goddamn life.

Please please please & thank you 😅
I live in GA, mainly work outside. Every winter my fingers just bust all over. I feel you on that haha
I finished basic not too long ago. They don't have the shark attack anymore...but my drill sargeants might as well have done it. They made that first day(and the first week really) absolute hell. They got us paranoid whenever there was some type of downtime. Like i remember the "phantom drill sargeants" where you swear that you hear them screaming and smoking the other bay so you tell everyone around you to shut up...but nothing is actually happening. Like i was mentally messed up for the first 2 weeks really. And they still messed us up after that but the first week was definitely the most intense
I will say this, when I was in basic training, which was just only last year, I was lucky enough to have old-school drill sergeants who did not give a fuck about the new guidelines and Covid restrictions. Yeah it sucked ass in the moment, but when we got to our units we saw what we would have been had our drill sergeants not been so hard on us. I cannot tell you how many times I see privates straight out of AIT yell at SGT‘s, not saluting officers, not going to parade rest, not knowing how to salute properly, having fucked up uniforms, and not knowing how to properly stand in formation. When I tell you I was so pissed off when I found out that right after I had graduated basic training they allowed trainees to have their phones the entire cycle and they took away the shark attack, I was fucking livid. Now I’m happy that we didn’t get those privileges because it would’ve made us complacent and laid-back. I’ve been in my unit for a while now, and I’ve had to train newbies, and I don’t think I’ve yelled at somebody so much in my fucking life. My platoon SGT got so pissed off about the lack of discipline with the new guys that he now made a rule that every new guy’s job is to clean out and organize connexes for the first month they’re here 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was in basic during the 80s. From what you described, its sounds just the same. Minus the cellphones. Young men always gonna be rowdy.
I graduated the 28th and we didn’t have phones is that information confirmed?
@@santiagoguzman9889 For a lot of training units, yes it’s allowed, BUT it’s really up to the DS if they can have it 24/7 or just during personal time every night.

You're drill sergeants didn't grow up in the old school Army. They didn't join before 2005. Basic wasn't difficult. Stop being a poser.

That basic stench is real...biggest thing I remember was getting to reception at 0200 after being up since 0400 the past day and didnt sleep on the flight. We didnt sleep until the following day so we were up for about 49hrs.

🤣🤣🤣 love this dudes adhd random yelling , fucking loveee it😂
I remember being at Reception @ Ft. Jackson, waiting for the buses and drill sergeants to arrive. We finally got the chance to talk with our drill sergeants and as soon as the bus arrived the drill sergeants switched. They went completely bonkers. The basic drill sergeants got off the buses and started yelling and getting us into formation so we can board. As one group was losing the buses the drill sergeants from basic all started yelling at once. We couldn’t figure out why until we (my group that was waiting) looked to the left where the pay phones are/were and seen this kid (grown man lol) talking on the phone.
They tell him to hang up and he decides that he wants to continue to talk to whom ever he was talking to. They went fucking NUTS!! One of them walked up to him and started yelling in his ear to hang up. He got flustered and panicked. He tried hanging the phone up and just couldn’t. He put the receiver (the phone portion of the pay phone for those who may not know) on top of the phone rather than hanging up, he kept doing it until they snatched it from him and did it for him.
He ended up in my company/platoon. Sad to say he didn’t make it far. He actually jumped off of a three story balcony and shattered his femur.
“Eh, it is what it is. We need a Lennie in our George.”
