I’m living at Aus,lotus seed is expensive, also don’t have fresh pandan, I use frozen Pandan or Pandan paste that comes in tiny bottle, I just wondering can we try using chick pea? It’s cheap & expand a lot😳

Thanks for your reply,I did watch the mung bean filling before,also the white bean (白芸豆),I love to make all different kinds of fillings, will make the mung bean filling soon, so can make my buns this weekend 😉
Thanks for sharing , to me is a waste as Lotus seeds is expensive to make it into Pandan paste, May be use sweet potato or white beans to make the base then add in Pandan juice.

你先揉一揉看馅的状态。如果还是比较干就加点水从炒。

Maltose will give the lotus paste sticky texture, like the store bought paste.
If you want to further reduce the sweetness, cut down the sugar instead

可以用保鮮膜包好,冷凍保存。解凍後,如果出油或變軟,放入鍋中再炒一炒就可以。
