      Thanks! I see a lot of new clients struggling with breathing, so I make sure to cue it as much as possible.

    I have my own beginni level reformer so this is so great the slow breakdown to target the knees and hips. I’ll be saving this for sure. Manny Thanks 🙏

    This is a great workout. I have the Allegro1. I’ve never seen or used the wedge. I do have cervical spine issues and wondering if this can be used instead and lying flat on back? Can you explain the reasons for the wedge? I’m very interested and think this could help me when I’m laying on the reformer. Thanks also for all of your great videos, you are a wonderful instructor!

      Hi Melanie! I use the wedge because I'm pregnant and it feels better to me to have my heart elevated higher than my pelvis. I'm not sure what your cervical spine issues are specifically, but you could definitely try to lie on a wedge so see how that feels. If lifting your head doesn't feel good, you can always keep your head down. Hope that helps :)

    Love your Pilates tutorials Gabrielle! Also, many congratulations on the baby! I wanted to ask - what size are the grey/lime green balls you use? Also, are the balls a good replacement for the magic ring for inner thigh work? I seem to struggle to keep the magic ring in place during workouts. Thanks!

      Hey Rajat! Thanks!! The link to the ball: www.pilates.com/store/accessories/balls/inflatable-ball/?bbAffiliateID=715151PR
      It's a great inner thigh prop instead of the magic circle!

    Thanks again and congratulations! Sorry my questions aren’t clear, what could I use instead of the full Pilates Box( I don’t have one) ? Or could I do this on the flat reformer? Cheers Chris

      Oh I gotcha!! Yes, you can totally do the moves I show on the box without the box! That's actually a great question :)

    Hello! Loving your prenatal reformer videos. In the description it says to start on one blue spring, but at 7:16 you say to switch to one blue spring. Do you start on one red spring at the beginning? Thank you!

      Casey, you are absolutely right!! Thanks for bringing this to my attention - I just edited that comment. We start on one red (heavy spring).

    Ive only been teaching a year, and ive just got my first pregnant client. I was taught standing side splits are not recommended during pregnancy. What are your thoughts?

    • @SaranPilates
      @SaranPilates  11 месяцев назад +1

      It all depends on the client. As a general rule, keeping the range of motion smaller during standing splits is a good idea, but even if they are small, they still bring a lot of benefits to a pregnant mama. Some prenatal clients don't have any issues with them at all. If they feel any tension in the pelvic area or pubic bone area, then keep the range of motion small. If they have a big case of "lightening crotch", then avoid. But again, some mamas will do very well with this. Hope that helps :)

    Hi you don’t mention the cable levels/colors when you begin. What are you on, 1 red and 1 blue?

    • @SaranPilates
      @SaranPilates  4 года назад

      You are totally right, I forgot! It's a blue spring/medium spring.

    Just noticed the raised bed you used, can these be done flat on the mat as well with the legs straight out with the ball ?

    • @SaranPilates
      @SaranPilates  4 года назад

      Hey Chris, which exercise are you referring to?

  • @esmith7324
    @esmith7324 4 года назад

    I'm guessing when you do the squat with the ball, the carriage shouldn't move! OMG! That is hard! It was good news that we don't have to do the otherside.

    • @SaranPilates
      @SaranPilates  4 года назад +1

      Haha! Yes, moving it as least as possible is the trick - really hard for me too!!
