Tried those seated cable rows today at my PF and wow! I felt a stronger mind/muscle connection, much more than doing dumbbell rows for example. Zero momentum with the cable and the stretch you can achieve is just insane. Great exercise.
I’ve never seen anyone on say they hated dr. Mike’s exercises. It was obvious he had in his head “single arm is trash” which I completely disagree with. I’ve recently started doing a lot more single arm back movements, and I vastly prefer them. Do they take longer to do? absolutely but not twice as long. You don’t rest for nearly as long because one side of your back is resting while the other one is working. Milo Wolf is also not a fan of doing single arm variations. I don’t know why they seem so close minded on at least giving them a fair shot. Maybe because they’re not used to doing them 🤷

At 2:33 I realized if Mike stood up he'd still be the same height 🤣🤣
Except he can’t stand up or you’d see a ⛺️ lol
I started doing Eric’s incline bench tricep press and 1 arm lat pull downs. Has helped a lot working out from home with limited weight available.
this guy is smart but mike seems bored
I think he might be dieting or something he seemed way off.
Both of these guys were a couple weeks out from bodybuilding shows when filming this!
@RenaissancePeriodization totally makes sense, great video I learn so much from both of these guys
He is not smart
@@jacobhatewhat would you call it?
I love Dr. Mike for putting up this type of content. I think these variations will be gas to try!
We gotta get the Doc in the sun asap
That single arm pulldown is absolutely goated. Never felt a better connection with lats until i tried this variation. I put the rope attachment few slots below than what is shown in the video, in a slot where when i pull the rope it will make a 45 degree angle.
10:21 the good doctor doesn't even know where is own nipple line is and relies on another man to tell him no wonder he never has any luck with the ladies😂😂😂😂
Imagine if he knew how to train and diet, and prep and tan. He might actually have a pro card. Nah, not with those dog$hit genetics.
i love how the science of bodybuilding is coming up w such unique movements. i can see myself trying some of these during my next hypertrophy phase in the spring after wrestling season. dope!

What’s going on with mike in this vid fr
I’ve been doing single arm cable pulls all summer on my pull days and my back has definitely grown more than any of my other body parts. I can’t wait to try these variations and the rope pull my next pull day
3:34 Somehow it confuses me from looking at it, it looks like a upper back exercise not a lat one why
No it’s definitely a lat focused exercise mainly bc of how close he’s keep his arm to his torso. If he was flared out it would be more of an upper back focus
@ryanleal1764 oh I see thanks
Dr Mike is a legend. Today he seemed off. Eric, thanks for the insightful video.
10:49 Mike definitely didnt feel that lmao
I mean, he wasn't going to if he couldnt follow simple directions.
@@MrSinister718 wah wah
Maybe because they’re not used to doing them 🤷
Mike was completely exausted from competion prep when this was filmed
I just wanted to say that after years of never being able to feel my last after a workout session with the queues Eric provided in this video I was able to finally feel them! Thank you 🙏
Forget all that. Jason Blaha told me barbell rows and deadlifts are all I need for my back.
Idk why but this reminds me of "my dad can beat your dad" debates you'd hear in the schoolyard
@@stevenstokes6306 I agree
@@stevenstokes6306 Something tells me you didn't catch the sarcasm.
@overtonpendulum2071 he might be too young king lol.
Thats a name I haven't heard in awhile
Loved this session gives me some new alternatives to try. Thanks guys 👍
1:10 hes using a lot of words and saying nothing 😂
I get Dr Mike hates these but I can't wait to try them. They make tons of sense. Thanks for sharing. 👍
