I feel as if we live in an era where if some people don't get all the answers right away, they lose faith in the story being told. I feel as if most people need things force fed to them and hate figuring it out on their own. I don't know if it's this new generation or if it is the fact that when ever we want answers to things, there used to having search engines or reddit or other ways of getting answers. Also I feel like a lot of people get this stigma about shows that are a popular ip, and if there is not someone they recognize by face or last name, they lose interest because they can't relate to any thing. I know a lot of Star Wars fans who already had it in their minds that if Yoda wasn't in it, then they weren't going to like it. Also I saw that with Carrie-Anne-Moss's character dying right away, it took them out of it. I just don't understand the thoughts in some people. Could you imagine if when people watched the first Scream movie, and if they saw Drew Barrymore die right away, and they said "well that took me out of it, I don't like this movie" I guess this all goes back to that thing of if people aren't knowledgeable about something, they need a thing they can hold onto. With this being a era of Star Wars that most people aren't familiar with, and it is not related to skywalker, they saw her and they were well we know her, so as long as she is around, we can have something to relate to. I just don't know.
I completely agree with this. With that ideology there is no way of new actors rising and becoming popular. I’m loving the cast and the characters in this I can’t wait to see more character development.
I agree also. The world today you get information instantly and most things explained almost. Every thing is instant and waiting for something is seen as negative.
I saw on reddit that it's a Sith "rite of passage" to earn their weapon/saber. Something about disarming the Jedi and then using their own light saber against them. They then take that kyber crystal from the light saber and "bleed it", pouring hate and negative energy into it to turn it red or crimson. It's why all the Sith only have red sabers.
My guess is that the 4 jedi saw some type of vision that shows Mae killing them in the future so they set the fire to try and murder her but ended up also killing the parents and setting Mae on the path to become a killer. A self fulfilling prophecy.
I'm guessing the master is one of the twins' mothers. She was probably a strong force user and possibly a former Jedi. The Jedi that are being hunted down started the fire to cover something up - possibly the death of one of the mothers. And they took the daughters and separated them, telling each that the other had died. The Jedi are basically space police. And this is a revenge story.
Of the bat Your is such a square but he is very entertaining, and it plays the comedic arc well enough to have a occasional laugh at him. Im enjoying that character, and look forward to growth development in him. I really like the choice Master Tolbin makes that he would rather kill himself than admit the faults that he and the jedi obviously made in the supposed death of May. I also like the fact that May thought Osha was dead so it deepens the mystery as to why and what the jedi covered it all up. Thanks for the reaction guys it is a fun and fresh new series im excited to see where it goes for sure. As for May trying to kill without a weapon the end of the first episode the Sith (apprentice we are guessing) said that you have to pretty much kill 1 of the 4 jedi without using a weapon to be able to be trained by him so im curious to who and how that plays out ) its basically playing out the same way that Dooku pulled in Ventress she was Dookus Acolyte, when Dooku was Palpatines apprentice, the idea of an Acolyte been good enough to join the apprentice to defeat the master is the circle of the Sith then the apprentice becomes the new master acolyte and the new apprentice. if the Apprentice fails to defeat the master then the master usually kills the apprentice and takes on a new one (as Palpatine did to Dooku and took on Vader as his new apprentice. hope that helps with the understanding there its all a vicious circle for the Sith lol)
Master Torbin took the barash vow, one of a lot of Legends stuff that is in this. And i still suspect Leslye playing with the Star Wars Fandom's obsession with theories... I personally take it as it comes, all that theory hopping annoys me...
The kung fu to me doesn't feel like Star Wars. The light saber fighting was more like fencing and I prefer that. Just me though. Good storyline so far.
Y’all’s thumbnail (highlighting what I thought was the weakest part of either ep: that makeup/beard) got me worried y’all were just going to dump on the ep 😬
Of course Carrie Ann will be back! They're going to have to do a flashback to show the backstory of what it was those four Jedi did that triggered M A E's anger, and set her on the course of Revenge! She gave the meditating Jedi the option to confess what he did to the Jedi Council or drink the poison and he chose to drink the poison so whatever they did it must have been against the Jedi code, and simply morally wrong. Which gives Mae the justification for murdering them, which is clearly being exploited by the dark force user with the red lightsaber! Also when she confronted Carrie iAnn Moss in the restaurant, her reply to her statement that Jedis don't attack was in the affirmative indicating somehow those four must have attacked their family and perhaps pended on her? For now it's just a wait and see this after all is a mystery a mystery set in the world of Star Wars!
And i so love the super-sized padawan. Really.

Good theory!
Not sure I agree with ur theory but its a helluva story! U should write a fanfic.

That theory sounds dead on…probably exactly what happens!

Is it possible that rey direct descendants from osha or luke leia may have come from osha?
