2-part Pilot episode theory: many streaming platforms are dropping the first 2 episodes at once rather than creating a bigger pilot episode which is what most of us are used to seeing in prime tv shows. So perhaps we should consider these as a 2 part pilot rather than a pilot and 2nd episode. Just a thought….
as always, i love your reviews. i know nothing about star wars so im coming into this blind. i quite enjoyed the first episode, there were things that deffo need working on but overall it was pretty decent.
Russian Doll was good. I have to watch the other season/s. I like this show so far, but I didn't go on to binge it all right away. Yes, there are so many shows! Hard to keep up, especially if you watch reactions to them too.

One thing to consider though about pilots. They release the first and second episode on the first day so wouldn't you consider that both of them together as the pilot? Personally I would just food for thought. Thank you guys! Love watching you
pacing wise with how episode 1 ended it legit feels like these two were suppose to be in just one episode. but they split it on purpose do to the bs algorithm system many streaming sites do.
Yeah, Doctor WHO has had my hype every week to watch at broadcast this month. Acolyte... I'm fine to wait a few days and just watch on Friday while waiting for DW. It is not hype yet.
So the girl makes a grab for the lightsaber while fighting but doesn’t take Trinity’s lightsaber after she’s dead like it’s her prize? So why did she try to grab it then?
@@alwaysbam So if she uses her trademark knifes that’s it she can take the lightsaber? So if she breaks her code she will choose not to take it? So then why bring weapons at all?
It's made clear in the second episode that the killings are some time of ritual or test - she has to kill at least one of her four targets without using any weapons but the Jedi's own. Taking Indara's lightsaber won't help her fulfill the ritual/test. She only resorts to the knives/poison/trickery when her initial attempts fail.
@Patrick76399 I have seen both episodes. I will say in this instance, she had no choice. She is not on the level of a master. She has to at some point, pass initiation to get a dark saber. That's just Sith 101

I think ur forgetting that at this time period the Jedi weren’t supposed to be emotional so calling sol flat felt a little disingenuous, and he did do other facial expressions what about when he caught osha

Damn dude… this came off like you hate the show ( I know you don’t cus I’ve seen later reactions) why does everyone expect perfection when starting a new story? Its a tv show they need time to get going ( sorry it’s just frustrating to hear these unrealistic expectations) I didn’t get super into the boys until probably half way through season one partially cus I had some earlier bits spoiled, and I love both that show and this one, now I don’t like fallout love them mind you ( that was a legit 10/10 and did grab me from the first episode unexpectedly but I’ve played the games so that might be why)

I think Syntell is wrong because I feel fans bring a lot of baggage. If you aren’t a fan, it’s more so about enjoyment.

Yeah, I wouldn't have minded just following the "bad" sister on her revenge quest or whatever, finding out her motivations and all that.

She had to kill without a weapon to take a lightsaber.
