Hey all, when we do a new season of a show we put out the first episode for free on Full Length so here it is on our patreon : www.patreon.com/posts/acolyte-105626417 Please enjoy and support us if you feel like it! Thank you! -Mikey
@732ReviewCrew Thanks for replying! I've been watching your channel for the past couple months or so, and I gotta say, you guys are great. I've been getting into Buffy and BSG reactions lately, so the fact that you're doing both, lucky for me! I have something to watch from you guys more days than not.
Enjoyed the first episode and your reaction & discussion. I don't know much about the High Republic so I look forward to learning a little and hearing Mikey's info. Mike's theory sounds pretty good up to the Parent Trap like switch. Always nice to see Dafne Keen (so good in Logan and His Dark Materials) in Star Wars.
Finally, some live action making it somewhat clear that the Jedi had issues. There are some hints in other content if you’re looking for it, but this seems like they may be explicit about it. I suspect some SW fans may not like seeing that. But it’s virtually impossible to please all SW fans. 😅
another glorious reaction down!~ thank you sirs!~ big hype for the show personally, but im a One Piece fan so anything in my favorite universes is always a win ^.^ onto the next!~
out the gate: i do not have high hopes for this show, BUT, since yall gonna be running it i guess ill give it a shot at least haha i was just gonna skip it. meh, lets find out what all the drama is about. ok... lol the chairs were amazing and now my fav invention in starwars and pip with its lil pouch pack lol
It really feels like the writers had a NO Mansplaining! rule in effect. I can imagine space fire. Thanks to the ISS experiments on firefighting in zero G we have tape on it. It doesn't look anything like that🔥 (It does look awesome btw: low blue and liquid like. clinging not flickering, like rubber cement) Even if it was a high pressure o2 leak, the spark would need to occur before it is exposed to vacuum . The tank would just explode or snuff. Not burn orange in a flickering breeze. Yes the sound in space thing bothers me too. POV inside a ship is one thing but not in the dead of space, some examples are better than others. Yet this was always a choice aimed at improving the viewer experience. (Loved the Holdo Manuever sound design. btw ) The campfire didn't help the immersion at all. I thought she was JUST having a traumatic flashback and it wasn't real... but no. I don't at all get the apologist - "you accept space magic so why nit pick this?'' or 'SW had dumb physics before so dumb physics now should be no problem.'' I say It's more important to get things right in fantasy settings not less. Too many ''ASKS'' kills immersion and I'm suspending disbelief just to get here
I’m guessing the Sith is either Darth Tenebrous or the unnamed Twi-leck Sith Lord (after doing some wookiepedia research). Either way, my guess is this will end tragic for everyone, all the Jedi involved and for the acolyte and her sister.
I don't know shit about that era of Star Wars, but I am intrigued. 😊 The 2 episodes are ok/good so far, but I am not super hyped about it yet. Her not taking the lightsaber made me mad first, but it seems she has to disarm a Jedi to earn her own lightsaber. Love the discussion and theories you had at the end, learnt some stuff. Looking forward to see if it will become Andor level or be at that low Kenobi level. 😁
I had this described to me as if the CW made star wars and after having watched it thats pretty spot on, where 180 million went to on this I have no idea, I'm guessing embezzled
It took me a while to gather up the courage to watch the show created by the director that thinks the sith are the good guys... it was ok. The High republic era is new to me, have not had the time nor energy to get into the books and comics from this era.
As someone who has deep dived into this era, it's very interesting. Very different from what we are used to, the big baddie in the books is really cool and so are some of the ideas
@@MarcusFrederiksen It's mediocre at best. I have seen the first two episodes and there's nothing impressive so far. The acting is poor, the writing is poor, the plot is generic, the effects are average to poor depending on the scene... It's not a good start. The only Star Wars spinoff that has actually been good was Andor, and even that wasn't well liked due to it's slow pace.

Did you guys change your schedule? I saw that this show was planned for a Thursday release, so can I assume no BSG until tomorrow? Just wondering.
@MB.543 no change! Bsg comes out still, Mikey made a mistake with the show airing Tuesdays and not Thursdays! Bsg comes out in 20 ish

That's great. Comments like yours help me keep editing on my days I don't have my real job!
Thank you..
@@732ReviewCrew Lol, which one of you am I talking to? I don't actually know who does the editing.
🤩😤🤩🗣 I watched BOTH episodes , and they were EXCELLENT ‼️ Ignore ALL negativity on this Series 💯

Thank you for joining us corgi! Next episode I discuss it, it is in the discussion tagged as spoilers
I knew I recognized Dafnes name, but I couldn't place it, you saved me a IMDb dive.
The guy that had the parasite attached to him said he sensed the darkness in Oshai.

I also hoped there was more than the stupid evil twin story. So this time I agree with the crazy theories. I wanted them to be. But you know now...

I heard soooo much bad about this show, so I will wait maybe a year and then check reviews as I am so tired of disney star wars fan fiction
It wasn't bad so far! Need to see more
It's very good, stop listening to these grifters that make money off of hating on everything that gets released.
