Nowadays it is not called polyester. Manufacturers called it "performance" fabric or "technical" fabric. This is how they got younger (under 50) people to buy polyester....by renaming it. lol.

Depends on where the fabric is being used, I personally wouldn’t use polyester on a proper suit.
