I’m English and I would like to think that I am regarded as a gentleman. I try to dress well when going out or expecting visitors. However, dressing well and being a gentleman are two very different things. To dress well, all you need is money and a stylist. To be a gentleman, you do not need money but you need a mentality that shows respect for all others and helps others whenever possible. It’s the old adage that money can’t buy class.
Buy basic, buy classic, and buy the best you can afford. Suggestion: a grey 3-piece suit, a blue blazer, a white oxford shirt, a blue oxford shirt, a pink oxford shirt, subtly patterned ties, a quality black leather belt, and quality black leather shoes to match, are solid foundations on which to build your travel wardrobe. Great video, I hope a travel wardrobe in the Old Money Style is in the works.
No Oxford shirts, ever. They're bloody awful. I don't know why Americans insist on wearing them. A normal (i.e. non button down collar) shirt is just fine.
I dress traditionally sports jackets chinos usually and it works it never goes out of fashion neither does style also buy the best you can afford it pays in the long run
Same. Everyday uniform. Regarding cost, enough is enough and I don't see any advantage beyond a certain price point. Over expensive is just a new issue: to avoid damaging clothes.. what a waste of brain power a disconfort. 👀
People don't like to admit it, but your judged by your appearance. If a Man looks his best when he's well dressed👔👞, then why wouldn't he he want to dress well everyday, or at least most days! Here's to living a more stylish and elegant lifestyle!👍
