Hey Doc, where is the list of foods, herbs and such that stimulate Th1 and Th2 so we can help create balance for our patients?

Thank you! This was very helpful, it gives me a starting point for my own research.

Bro I'm so confused about the labeling. I've seen multiple sources get them confused as well. Some call th1 the short term immune cells fighting infections etc. others call them long term involved with autoimmune diseases and visa versa. I have hashimotos and I'm wondering if thats th1 or th2 and what to do get them balanced.

@@LG-bi1sr There is a blood test out there (In Germany) called Th1 TH2 Imune Balance. You can Test for Cytokines IL-2 , IL-4 High IL 4 is TH2 high IL2 is TH1 Shift

Great lecture! Is there a specific test to catch a snapshot of these?

This is the first video that comes up when I search th1 vs th2. The video doesn't even address tregs + th17 in the image the whole time. half the video is spent talking about "stimulants" (agonists) for certain pathways, but doesn't bother to give a single example. Let alone the "short term" vs "longterm" error at 4:00ish minutes.
Its a great attempt to clear the subject, don't get me wrong, but it focuses way too much on pinning diseases to autoimmune / TH1 and doesn't actually address T cell subtypes at all.

Hello Doc, I am having a hard time understanding the origin and source of the IL 12 and other cytokines that would activate a certain pathway and repress the other one. Is there any way to contact you or maybe other video that explains it?

Dr Raymond Benedetto, what if i have hashimoto and pollen allergy also? And residual ebv? And low morning cortisol? Then how to figure out? Thanks!

All possible underlying causes, and then some. All need to be evaluated and addressed.

How does the hygeine hypothesis make sense, the fact that it increases the amount of autoimmune diseases if autoimmune diseases are TH1 dominant. Surely the hygiene hypothesis would decrease autoimmune diseases?

Very good video until you allude to herbs solving Th1 vs Th2 dominance. If there is good evidence for herbs solving things like Hashimoto's, please support this claim with evidence. I don't think there is.
