The more videos and literature I watched and read the more confused I got, UNTIL I watched your video. In just 15 minutes the whole immune system was clear for me to understand. Thank you.
@@ZeroToFinals I know it's standard, but I don't think CRP should be used as the only indicator for inflammation. I have always had normal CRP, yet had bladder inflammation, joint pain, muscle pain, and sometimes bone pain for a couple of decades. It looks like I have a few type 4 sensitivities. One of which is nickel. It's in everything 😞. Specially plant based foods you would normally consider to be healthy Chocolate Nuts, Beans, Legumes, Oats Green leafy vegetables
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I have an assessment in a few days and I was struggling with the immune system, this legit saved me. Everything make so much sense now. These videos are miracles I'm sure the majority of the people watching this channel agree. ☺
It makes the immunity system way much more clear than I have ever known. Teachers usually just use PowerPoint and giving us hard terms to memorize and then ask students to visualize the process itself, which is mind-blowing and not an effective way of learning. Really thanks for your video, so i can joint all the clues together and have a good understanding of the immunity response. Good job! 👍
What a simplified explanation of such a huge complex topic, understanding broader picture is much important first so it gets easier understanding small details.
This is super super helpful - probably the most clear and direct explanation of the immune system. I've got interested in the immune after a child fell into eczema. This clears up all the bits and pieces I've been reading everywhere. Man, bless you sir for making this video. Salute!
I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder (TTP) last year. I've read a lot about it and understand most things about the disorder, but now I've started learning more about the immune system and trying to understand autoimmune issues better. This was a FANTASTIC starting points. My studies and occupation have nothing to do with medicine but this was still very easy to follow and gave me all the clues I needed to go down the rabbit hole. Thank you!
Thank you! Have always been interested in immunology since young. However, books on it were hard to understand. Your vid gave me a quick overview but yet detailed enough for me to get even more interested. Like the pace (talking speed, etc).
I’m a second year medical laboratory science student and I have learned a lot from this video. I’m doing exactly everything you just summarized. Thank you so much 😊 at least I have a place to quickly understand complex things
Mate, this video and the one where you explain the different cells compressed the content of four lectures (>4 hours) into 30 minutes AND was way more comprehensive. You rule!
This was such an informative video. Many of these names are mentioned in medical school, but not in one video outlining them as well as you do. You are amazing!
i woke up in California and said i randomly want to understand viral behaviour and vaccines right now -so i grab my ipad and within seconds a young guy from a different part of the world begins teaching me - through a really cool cartoon picture series he custom made on his own computer -goes to show = there is hope for us humans !! - technology enabling us to work together quickly in this way is such an amazing blessing!! - when i was young in the 70s i imagined stuff like this - now its real !! and its great!!
One small problem here is that the helper CD4 T cells will never present antigen to CD8 T cells as part of CD8 T cell activation (11:05). Nothing other than a DC can activate naive CD8 T cells. All you have to do is move the arrow and the MHC-I from the CD4 cell to the dendritic cell and it will be correct. Other than that, excellent summary of the immune response. I highly recommend it.
Well it could get activated by an infected cell directly, which is why ltcd8 cells like to recognise the antigen on an hla1 specifically cuz it tells them that it must be on an infected cell or on a cell that presents an antigen coming from the infected cell. In this case, ltcd4 cells would only present the antigen if they were to be infected, which isn’t the case, except if it’s hiv i suppose

A great easy to follow explanation of the immune system. Thanks for explaining it so well. I didn't understand it until now. I'm grateful you created this video for all of us to learn from..
It's a great video that clarified lots of things that were obscure to me. I studied something else (physics) at uni, yet I was able to understand practically everything. Thanks for this content!
Brilliantly illustrated and narrated! This stuff is way out of my depth, but I was still able to learn enough to satisfy my own curiosity of the immune system and feel a lot more informed having watched this. Thanks so much!
Just found this and I'm so impressed!!! I always see the immune response and its systems represented separately and it makes it really hard to put things together and you explained it so well here!! Really improved my understanding of the overall as well as the specific points. Amazing job!! Definitely gonna check out your videos in the future
Have to add another comment to reinforce how amazingly this video explains immunology, despite everyone who have already commented that it’s a brilliant video. Thank you for clarifying all my concepts so quickly and super-simply! (Even better than ChatGPT haha)
Zero To Finals it's brilliant for my needs. I'm preparing for UK licensing exams after a career gap , and desperately needed to get my basics right. Thank you for the great effort and for keeping it easily accessible and inexpensive. Waiting for the gyne book.
I'm a medical student and i have an exam of immunology so soon and i didn't revise anything i don't even know what we are studying.. This video helped me a lot as an intro that will make me understand my lessons.. Thanks a lot
Man, you helped me a lot. This was the best illustration for me to understand easily, which is way better than my 6-month course in university. Thanks a lot brother.
I am taking my Teas exam on Feb and I wanted to understand better the immune system since we barely touched it in A and P class. Thank you! I am so nervous for this exam . But this is sooooo helpful
This has to be one of the best or even the best video available summarising immunology. Acute phase reactants all serve as opsonins.. CRP and procalcitonin level measurements make way more sense now in an infection. Thanks a lot, dear Sir.
Very interesting. However, I would like to know, perhaps via a follow up video, what foods and/or supplements, other than pharmaceuticals that don’t seem to work very well, can be helpful in enhancing the immune system, especially in the case of cancers. Thanks.
Very very useful video that I have never seen in RUclips explaining about immune system. If possible, please make another video on vaccine making please.
This is when 15 min video explains better than a whole week of immuno classes at uni. Thanks.
Haha glad to help!

This video actually does that 🙂👍👍👍🥹😭
This really isn't an exaggeration, was going to say the same thing myself. THANKYOUUU
So true❤

As Einstein said” if you cant explain it simply, you did not understand it enough ”
