  • Sailboat cruising isn't for the faint of heart and bluewater sailing generally can be a dangerous pursuit. Something a little different, this week we profile our favorite sailing channel episodes, the ones with crazy extreme waves, unruly wind, squalls, swells, snow and ice.     That is nothing compared to my first trip out on a 600ft Destroyer in the North Atlantic and me getting overwash on the 03 level, the crew was demanding sub pay.

      waves always look smaller on camera. some of these were def gnarly. like delos with the 30ft waves.
