My gpa has been bass fishing for over 50 years he went pro for 30 and he still buys Johnny morris rods and reels to this day
For $30 would you recommend upgrading to the Shimano slx xt over the slx? Would you say it’s worth it for $30 more?
@@luisarredondo5166 If u have the extra cash, do it. It has great braking and an extra bearing. If $100 is all u have, the regular SLX will be just fine

What reel would you recommend for me I’m looking for something around the 80-90 dollar range and I’ve been using a baitcasting reel for about a year and a half

@@humbugvideos what rod is recommended with that reel if I want to spawn about 150 on the combo
@@jdubz1943 Rods for $50 are tough, but you could get a Berkeley lightning rod which is $50 and would keep the setup at $150 total. Either that or spend an extra $40 and get the vendetta rod which would make an awesome setup. Do a 7 foot medium action
