I don't know but when I was driving truck. Back in the late 80s and 90s. So it wasn't no damn electronic logbook. And yes I only Drew used one logbook. From Northern California to Southern California sometimes Phoenix. But when they were loading me I'd go off duty. I go back on duty when I strapped down. Maybe an hour Sometimes lyrics depended on the road.. but back then we could drive 12 hours and take 8 hours off. And claimed two hours because of black weather or traffic that saved my ass lots of times. But also you guys know how to use it.👍🏽🤘🏾✋🏽🤙🏾🤟🏽✌🏽. I did it for the 13 years in Northern Cal. Deliver load in Northern California and end up in Seattle Washington. When I had tarp loads. I wouldn't got put down there that I dropped it someone at the yard carpet for me give me more hours.🤷🏽♂️👍🏽🙋🏽♂️😊😎🌉🛣🚛🚚⛟

We keep log books then throw them after 1 week? I'm new. What I do with the old ones
So if you stay driving locally, you don’t need eld? Like if I stay only in Texas I don’t need that digital bs?
