- HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
Hopefully everyone had an amazing 2021 and let’s see what 2022 will have in store for us transit fans!
Here’s another bus I rode during the bus excursion I went on in November 2021, this time being ex-LACMTA TMC RTS 2376, which was in service from 1989 until its retirement in 2008 and it was also one of several units that would be repainted in the Metro Local livery. It was sold to Cinema Vehicle Series sometime afterwards where it would remain until sometime in 2020 when it was bought by a private owner.
In this video I rode 2376 from Sunset Beach (PCH & Warner) northbound along Pacific Coast Highway until we got to the intersection of Electric & Main in Seal Beach which is also the terminus for OCTA route 42.
Recorded: 11/20/2021
Private Owner
Engine: Detroit Diesel 6V92TAC
Transmission: Allison V731
Man those buses was the best back in the days
That was my all-time favorite bus to ride in California
Wow, I'm surprised that these buses can still be found in the LACMTA livery, even after they were retired well over a decade ago already.
The bus off the movie walk of shame
Weird.. My bus square look Old shiny but Old.. This bus Definitely a Trasformer robot for sure
They put a rear door boarding sticker on this rts
Nice!
Maybe this can be for Disneyland shuttle bus🤔
I missed North Carolina.
Is this repainted back to SCRTD livery yet
Nope it won't be it will be preserved in the Metro local paint scheme
Did this bus had shiny polished windows during the yellow jacket livery back then or was the windows always black?
I HATED EX SHIT!!🥵😡☹️😭😰😱
