Laura, your videos make me feel better. I suffer from depression and your upbeat voice and beautiful gardens always bring me to a postive place. Thanks for sharing you!
I'm so envious of how many plants you get to use! I have 2 acres and all my money goes into the yard, but nothing like you! And when you show your greenhouse all full of plants waiting to be planted, I want to run over and help you plant! I love your life! Thanks for sharing.
Proven Winners must pay her in plants. I'd take that kind of salary any day! Each of those PW petunias 4.25inch pots cost about $5.95 at Home Depot. I still buy them though because they out perform the other brands
She has gotten me hooked on Proven Winners. This is the first year I'm trying them so I'm anxious to see how they do. I ordered one through Amazon that died in about 10 days. Guess I won't try that again!
Thank you for doing videos I love to see the progres you are making with your garden's. Hello to Dexter what a pretty cat. you have so many Beautiful flowers plants trees.
My husband took me to pikes yesterday (I broke my leg in November and am still in a wheelchair due to complications so I can't walk or drive and have to depend on him to go plant shopping). Anyway they did not have the supertunia latte but they had 5 of the vista silverberry left. They are so pretty. Pink with lavender throat. I think you would love these. Thanks for introducing us to the supertunias. I think I'll be thrilled with them even though it's only a few. Now I have to figure out where to put them.
You and your videos are a breathe of fresh air. I live in AZ and it can get ridiculously hot here. I've tried to maintain plants other then cacti and succulents alive for the front of my house and they just shrivel up with the heat. I don't know if I'm choosing the wrong plants, soil, or watering schedule. I get so frustrated and discouraged cause my house & landscape needs such an esthetic uplift and the only thing I can afford to buy to give it life dies on me.... ugh. But as I said, your videos are a breathe of fresh air cause it's nice to see your beautiful landscape thriving coupled with your beautiful home. Thank you!
Great video! Would love an in-depth video of starting annuals from seed. I would like to learn more about it because it seems to be the most cost-effective way of filling your garden with annuals but I always have problems getting them to bloom as much as I'd like.
I love the Proven Winner Flowers and use as many as I can get my hands on, but I only use them in containers. To fill that large of an area with those beautiful flowers would be "big bucks" at $5 flower. btw, I look forward to your videos, gardening is my passion :)
Awesome information as always. I think next year I'm ordering all my plants from a source that carries Proven Winners Plants. I'm so tired of going down to out local gardening center (Menards)and they don't always carry the PW fertilizer or have the plants I want. They carry some PW plants but not very many. So next spring I'm ordering all my plants for my pots. Thank you and Aaron so much for putting your knowledge on videos for us to learn. Cheryl
Laura could you do a video on your irrigation systems please. How many valves do you have? Do you have more than one irrigation box on your property etc.
The supertunia does not require deadheading or pinching the tip for bushier growth? It would be great..low maintenance for my parents and lots of color!
We have just started to get proven winners in the UK, not as good as what yours are but still canny. Just wish we got more than the buddleija in store. I love your vids, more planted containers please :)
Ok I have to ask. Your garden is so inspirational. I feel the urge to run out and garden every time I watch them....but.......how is it I NEVER see any weeds. Even in this video in between the bricks (my biggest nightmare).....help ☺️
jackie viterbo Laura weeds by hand (she said so a couple of times, e.g. when cursing the elm tree) and I assume she removes weeds as soon as she sees any coming up. So kneeling down and ripping at plants is probably what she also spends her time doing a lot.
I feel like I spend my whole life picking weeds between my pavers I've been using roundup but not too fond of using so many chemicals. I have a huge property so it's endless. Thank god I love to garden 😃
Just pouring boiling water over the weeds is (in my opinion) the best non-chemical way of getting rid of them. I guess it just boils the roots and kills the plant all together.
@@jackieviterbo274 I use a clear outdoor silicone or some kind of sealer for between paving slabs and bricks and it completely puts weeds to a stop, best thing I ever did in my garden in my opinion, i hated weeding between bricks
I planted some annuals around my mailbox (the only full sun space in my whole yard and I really wanted to try some Supertunia Vista Bubblegum's!). The fertilizer I bought says to fertilize ever two weeks, but I guess it won't hurt to fertilize every week?
I put a large lavender plant in a large pot. I also put three petunias in the front of the pot. Do you think this will be okay? The lavender is close to the back of the pot
so I've never planted anything into the ground (mostly container stuff). do you have to dig out the roots after the annuals die off? add soil to the area before planting?
can you do a video on the yellow flowering plant you have in the background at the end of this video is like to know what it is and see the flowers looks very nice
Your planting tips are very helpful, I really enjoy watching. I need a planting tool like what you have. I have several plants I need to plant in the ground, but I don't have a tool like that. Will you post where I may purchase one.
Hi guys! My wife and I love your videos! A question we thought of is how you guys use your water soluble fert with watering. When our garden was small we just mixed it up in a watering can. Now that we have the addiction like you guys I wondered how you guys worked that. A hose attachment or something. Id love to know what you do.
Hi. Thanks for another great video. I have a question regarding a take of you at around 3:23. In the right corner there is a tall plant in front of a tree with big round leaves, what plant is that? Thanks
How do you not have a problem with aeration, fungus or any mildew when your plants fill in? I experienced some of these issues latety even though I followed the tag spacing.
Believe it or not I didn’t know I have to feed the plants 😂. I thought they just grow with water and plant food is optional, more like a fuss.😂 I am learning so much here , love supertunia in the ground I thought it only goes in hanging baskets and I hate hanging basket .
everything in my country is an evergreen! unfortunately, we have barely anything that will bloom like crazy (other than the bougainvilleas) even with fertilisers, so I have to battle that with lots of foliage plants. I am planning on a big garden project where i create beds of annuals around a square area filled with bricks and a surrounding hedge of red tip photinias, wish me luck!
May you please do a video on tips for growing plants from seed? I've tried several times and I can't get them to germinate. I don't know what I'm doing wrong!
I have always used Lobelia as a full sun plant. Now you tell me its a shade plant. Is this really true? Have I been wrong all these years. Please let me know.
Someone should really invent a device that you can measure how much light an area gets in a day. Like have a light sensor and it measures how many hours that certain spot gets a day. It's hard to keep track and watch how much light an area gets.
Oh girlie I spent my money on beautiful petunia waves the pink ones and sadly it was about three days later every one had been devoured by slugs...none salvageable...awful...I cried as we are watching our money this year and cannot buy them again...
i planted these in my pots and snails have eaten all the blooms and even the plant makes me so mad! i have to spend as much poisoning as the plants. Any one have any good ideas?
I had the same problem here,. then I tried ferramol, its an ironphospate pellet that you spread around your plants,. no more snails and slugs,. they eat the pellets and die!
I love how Dexter follows you around, looks like he's enjoying the garden as much as we are
Laura, your videos make me feel better. I suffer from depression and your upbeat voice and beautiful gardens always bring me to a postive place. Thanks for sharing you!
JERRILYN SMITH I feel the same. Her videos have given me something to look forward to!
I left my backside off when she said listen to the spacing tags. Lol Laura, you never do.🥰

Karen Rittenhouse We have used them successfully for several years now.
Please tell me do I need to pinch my vinca seedings??? Thank you
Thanks Laura, by the way I love how Dexter always shows up while you're filming, he's too cute!!!
I love all of the statues in your garden
I would love to see an aerial view of your place to see how everything you show us is layed out!
Heidi85 I would love to see that, also. It overwhelms me...but in a good way!
Heidi85 She did show an ariel view at the end of her video a couple weeks ago. It was really great. You'll like it when you find it. 👍
They look gorgeous! Can't wait to see them in the upcoming garden tours.
Beautiful. Can you guys do a video on roses? Planting, care, types, etc. and of course, David Austin Roses. Thanks, guys.
Thank you for doing videos I love to see the progres you are making with your garden's. Hello to Dexter what a pretty cat. you have so many Beautiful flowers plants trees.
Your garden has changed so much.
I gasped when I saw the vista bubble gums! the transformation is so beautiful!

I can see some day you are going to be having garden tours. You are so lucky to do what you love. I love following you. Have an awesome weekend.
Hi Laura! I had a few questions but you answered them all in this video! Thank you and keep these videos coming.....I love them! Have a great day!

I love seeing the progression of the plants
I’m starting another flower garden ! Thank you for this information! Very helpful! All seeds! Wish me luck!
Laura,
I love your gardens. Everything looks so beautiful! Thanks for the tips.
you've inspired me Laura to do more and change up my usual routine in my gardens. Thank you! I will be sharing a picture soon when it's in full bloom!

Thanks
Laura could you do a video on your irrigation systems please. How many valves do you have? Do you have more than one irrigation box on your property etc.
I'm new to gardening here in Michigan and I don't want to limit myself to only using annuals but I do need low maintenance to start.
Thanks for the great tips!
I still have a Easter Lily in the pot from Easter. Do you have a video on planting and caring for your Easter Lily?
Dexter doesn't kill your plants? 😂 He is so cute

I'd love to see succulents vids in the future .
The Country Side of Home .That's the problem... I been following since 2015 and watched all of her succulent vids ..lol
correction * all of her vids ..she's my fav ytuber
Laura, with the Supertunia in ground like that, did you ever have to cut them back or deadhead them? Your landscape is spectacular!
very nice video,I am from india, all the best

I put a large lavender plant in a large pot. I also put three petunias in the front of the pot. Do you think this will be okay? The lavender is close to the back of the pot
Is that a patio lavender in the background at 1:34 in those planters? I have been eyeing one of those.

I just wanted to know when to plant them. I had tulips and NEVER watered them. They would grow like crazy
Love it
How do you not have a problem with aeration, fungus or any mildew when your plants fill in? I experienced some of these issues latety even though I followed the tag spacing.
Oh, you got a new hand digger.
Can u plant Annual Bulbs in the Fall & will they grow in the Spring?
Believe it or not I didn’t know I have to feed the plants 😂. I thought they just grow with water and plant food is optional, more like a fuss.😂
I am learning so much here , love supertunia in the ground I thought it only goes in hanging baskets and I hate hanging basket .
Texas heat.. kills all my full sun annuals including supertunia's. It's just too hot here..

Hi. Can you tell me when is the best time to plant annuals? Is there a time when it's too late?
How do you keep your petunias from getting leggy? Planted so close it would be hard to trim.
Esther Hummelt My first guess would be giving them enough sunlight.
“Don’t FUDGE the spacing” 🤣🤣🤣
Do they need to be trimmed? I planted them last year and they got really leggy and didn't have too many blooms :(
How do annuals do in places with less chance for frost like southern California?
Do you use a weed and feed or hand weed?
Hey Laura, when the seed for those superpetunias will be available?
Im new to gardening, so would it be wise to add the landscape fabric down or not?
Love all your videos. Could you do a video on how you control weeds? I never see any weeds in any of your beds. Show me your secret please!!! 🌼🌺🐈😻😻
Mulch!!! 😊😊😊
May you please do a video on tips for growing plants from seed? I've tried several times and I can't get them to germinate. I don't know what I'm doing wrong!
Jewel - I had good luck using the advice in Nancy Bubel's book "The New Seed Starters Handbook."
Sheri K Thank you, I'll look at that!
I think I'm messing up fertilizer... What's "a little bit"? Can u do a video on how much fertilizer?
How you handle Japanese beetle and other plagues?
How do you deadhead all those petunias?
I would like to find some good color for the front of my house .
What to do with annuals after they die?
How are you combating weeds in the annuals?
I have always used Lobelia as a full sun plant. Now you tell me its a shade plant. Is this really true? Have I been wrong all these years. Please let me know.
Do you have to prune the Supertunia? Blessings to you from Texas.
