Love utube better than tv. There is instructional stuff. There is alliance and interesting stuff on space archeology and scientific info. I am really tired of seeing guns and cruelty. And other mind effecting things on tv. We need this.
Agree. RUclips channels are fun, down to earth natural and the owners control what they do and not bound by mission statements or whatever. I have totally stopped watching TV with annoying ads and everything so unnatural....they are done according to a pattern - so predictable sequences etc. Love this channel and some more channels on gardening for vegetables
Hi! I'm new to your channel and am loving it! Your husband and you remind me of my husband and I! I was a florist and perennial garden designer and it was my passion till I was disabled! I'm old now but this is like watching my early years with my husband and I sharing our passion together. It was our special bonding to work together in our gardens! Oh how I miss it!!! I love your design and plant choices! However I'm more of a hot color, wild gardner, but my husband loves your soft pastels! Thank you for the special knowledge you share but most of all keep gardening together. It's my fondest memories after 40yrs of marriage! It's good to see such young couples sharing hobbies and getting outdoors! You do a beautiful job taping and editing also! Your a great team!
I just rewatched this video. I saw new things and I felt your excitement this time. This is the part of my flowerbeds that I needed ideas. Thank you so much for your continued inspiration.
I do not know how you do all that work and manage to still look so pretty. I use to wear makeup everywhere all the time when I was younger. Now the thoughts of makeup during summer are scary. The joys of menopause in a humid climate. Anyway great video! Love the longer ones.
I could watch videos all day long of you approaching garden spaces and walking us through your thought process to redo it. I have been watching all your newer videos (and LOVE them all) and I am also loving some of your older content. Gardening really is timeless, and you do such a great job producing your videos!
Watching this now is so cool because I can think through everything that's changed, so many amazing transformations!!! It would be cool to walk everyone through what's changed thus far.
You always stay so clean when you garden! Super impressive. I’m literally so dirty when I pot a five gallon plant 😂. I really enjoy your channel, very inspiring. 😊💕
Oh Laura it's beautiful!! I so wish I could see things the way you do lol I see an empty space and think what the heck am I going to put there lol Thank you so so much for all your inspiration.
Laura it's another awesome vlog! You're living my dream of having a beautiful garden like you do. I try but not as successful as you are. You're such an inspiration. I get inspired by your passion in gardening. You're definitely an influencer!
I absolutely love your gardens! I have been binge watching your videos, and I wish I could do what you do! I live in a zone 1b area (North Pole, Alaska) so I mainly enjoy annuals. Our midnight sun is great for growing large vegetables and beautiful annuals, but most things aren't perennials. I do have a large lilac that comes back every year, and my rhubarb is invincible. One of these days I will move to an area where I too can have beautiful gardens. Until then I'm enjoying yours and soaking up as much information as I can!
I just love how enthusiastic you are in every video as well as your efficiency and thoroughness to provide as much necessary information as possible. Thank you for doing this!
love , love , love your garden. I like that you moved the Pavers it made such a difference in the whole look of the bed. Great job.So until next time God bless you
You are amazing, Laura. Lov e everything in each of your videos and especially your enthusiasm and energy doing it all by yourself. Glad I discovered you just only few days ago and I have seen your gorgeous gardens and lots of practical ideas. Thanks again. Appreciate your sharing. ❤️
Спасибо ,как всегда всё быстро.четко.легко.Играючи.А ведь это огромная работа.Очень красивые кадры получились, когда сквозь ваши волосы просвечивало солнышко.
I like this flowerbed alot and especially the way you arranged the flowers as they are not in a straight line. I think the lamp post is an excellent idea & location. Also, the clematis against your potting shed growing up a decorative trellis adds a nice touch making all look compelling and must be beautiful in bloom.
You are amazing, Laura. Love everything in each of your videos and especially your enthusiasm and energy doing it all by yourself. Glad I discovered you just only few days ago and I have seen your gorgeous gardens and lots of practical ideas. Thanks again. Appreciate your sharing. ❤️
Good points to think about at the very begininning, evergreen interest and seasonal interest , love the choices of plants and keeping it fairly simple!
This is one of my most favorite areas so far. Your plan to remove the evergreen arbor and plant climbing roses there is so exciting! Hydrangeas are one of my all-time favorites and I've probably "over used" them in my garden; but, I love them so much. I've had both successes AND failures with Heucheras. I'm truly in love with this wonderful perennial, though; so, I WILL be planting this Primo 'Wild Rose' one. This is a really pretty place for those gorgeous 'White Wands' veronica. The light post, clematis and evergreen add sweet touches to this beautiful garden bed! Bravo! I LOVE IT!!! 💜
We live on an farm in Canada just near Niagara and I want to start opening up some beds around the pool and the waslls of the house. I LOVE YOU AND YOUR VIDEOS!! You're my go girl every week now!!! Thank you!
I love how you always find things to pair together for every season. Personally I'm a lover of evergreens pretty much everywhere cause I just hate when things look so bleak in winter. since watching your videos I've definitely branched out and started getting more flowers. Currently on the hunt for some good shade trees because I have like ZERO shade right now. Suggestions welcome! I live in Oklahoma.
LOVE this video!!!! Can't wait to see what happens once they fill in and when the tree is replaced. I'm sure they will miss the dappled light but the fear of the branches coming down would certainly worry me more.
Great information and video! Exactly what I was looking for! My new flower garden is about the same size as yours and watching you “take charge” has energized me to jump in to my own project with renewed hope and to plant fearlessly!
Your garden turn out gorgeous, Dexter is a beautiful cat .. you are one hard worker , I did notice you had a helper . looking forward seeing how it turns out.
Laura your videos are the bomb! I am so incredibly happy to have found your channel. The best thing that's come out of the COVID-19 stay-at-home mandate. I love your side-kick Dexter.
Beautiful garden. I like how informative you are about all your plants but for gardeners just starting out I think it would be beneficial to also let them know the cost involved.
LOVED how this turned out Laura !!. Can't wait to see how those Little Quick Fire Hydrangea look when they bloom....Please do a video showing them would you... Have a lovely Day !!! 🌺🌱🌻💟
Your video showed up in my recommendations list, so I watched. What a hard worker you are! I'm a gardener too, but you put me to shame...I feel lazy now! I'm going to get out there and do something. You are inspiring me to tackle some jobs that I've put off. I can see that your channel is going to become a favorite of mine :)
Thank you so much for this video! I have a section in my yard that I've been so overwhelmed with and this has completely streamlined what I need to do. Really happy I found your gardening channel!
BEAUTIFUL .I wish I had your garden its beautiful I am working a little bit at a time but then I have to start from the beginning again the grass grows here so fast in zone 8
She is bloody amazing! The first video I watched was a tour and I naturally assumed that they had an army of gardeners. Instead I have discovered she does most everything herself! I am in utter awe.
Wow I just found this video what a difference if only I could tell this Laura...you just wait .....the world is going to open up so much for you the blessings...😉
Thanks for your videos! They're so useful! I have a huge land I've been tackling on my own for the past three years and it helps to have some guidance when I'm stuck and don't know how to go about a particular area of the garden!
My front flower bed is the EXACT design as yours.. I have rocks to stack ( little ones) but my idea was exactly the same and I Agree . Too Sharp. Softening this sight made that "little world Gorgeous ! Thank you. Maybe after I QUICK FIRE another cash flow next year. Wish me luck... You showed me my perfect garden. " The Cottage Garden" you shared . Thank you Be Blessed !
I can't wait until I can do this with my garden and especially the bed around the chicken run, fingers crossed that I'm able to get started on that project this spring!
I love this planting and the mix of plants you've used. Your videos have taught me so much and I've worked harder in my yard this year than I have in the past 20 years of living in our house. Question - what do you use to cut/remove tree roots when you encounter them in your beds? They are so frustrating!
Pretty combination. You are so fortunate to have Proven Winners as a partner. While it would be very costly to duplicate all your projects within a season, I enjoy watching and like your plant choices. And at least with perennials you can enjoy them over the years.
Laura, how is this area looking now, in 2019? I would love to see some year to year comparisons so we could see maturity, changes, etc. LOVE your channel, fb page and group, IG, you name it! Thank you!
I must have that heuchera! I love that color! I will be on the hunt for it next year....it looked perfect with that Veronica. Thanks for showing your bees, too. I was wondering about them.
That looks beautiful. I have an area I've been wanting ideas for. This fits the bill. Thank you so much. Love your tutorials. You are a perfect speaker and I love the way you explain every step. Keepem coming!
I find it hysterical that Dexter finds his way into EVERY video!!! Now I look for him each time I watch! Love it!
Reading this in 2021 breaks my heart, but Russell does the same and we love himm🤍🤍

He sure was a beautiful cat 🐈
So I’m watching this on May 31st, 2022 and it’s absolutely amazing how your garden has changed
This RUclips channel is significantly better than anything on HGTV.

Taylor S I love Laura’s channel!!! I’m learning sooool much!!!
Love utube better than tv. There is instructional stuff. There is alliance and interesting stuff on space archeology and scientific info. I am really tired of seeing guns and cruelty. And other mind effecting things on tv. We need this.
Stop watching tell lie vision, you'll be healthier, lol, you're RIGHT!

Three years later and this is still my favorite flower bed you’ve done

Dexter is so sweet. He shows up in all your videos. He really is a personable little fellow.
Awwww! Look at Dexter...chilling in the garden shade!
All your areas are beyond beautiful, you are so lucky to have all these areas to create your garden art. I get so inspired watching your videos!
I do not know how you do all that work and manage to still look so pretty. I use to wear makeup everywhere all the time when I was younger. Now the thoughts of makeup during summer are scary. The joys of menopause in a humid climate.

Love watching older videos, before augers and gators. Such a pretty place, knowing it's all gone now.
Those purple Heucheras are gorgeous!
Changing the flower bed line really made a big difference, beautiful garden
😻😻😻 I love how Dexter is always around you. 😘

Can you do a video on soaker hoses. Where to place them, how often you have them watering, and maybe the brand you use. Looks wonderful!!

love your video very inspirational thankyou so much
Good points to think about at the very begininning, evergreen interest and seasonal interest , love the choices of plants and keeping it fairly simple!
Watching in 2019. It's crazy how different this part of the garden is now. She really transformed it little by little, just as she said she would.
Absolutely transformed! There is a chicken coop here now….
I love the color of the stone against the dark plants very much!!
This is one of my most favorite areas so far. Your plan to remove the evergreen arbor and plant climbing roses there is so exciting!
