It’s 2023 and I think Laura should do another container competition this spring! Every year, I always go back to this video to get ideas for my big containers… I need some new ideas!!

jucjuc314 yep. Everything you said. I’ve been LOVING this whole “competition” and watching how the different colors and plants grow and change together.
I was watching and thinking they should really do this every year. Whether it is these containers or the hay racks or where/what ever. It'll be fun to see her learn from him and vice versa. Laura would have to get out of her comfort zone and Aaron would be learning as he goes. I hope they do it!

Watching in 2024 after watching this year’s competition. The before and afters really surprise me sometimes. I love seeing all the variations you have each tried. You both picture the designs a little bit differently, which is what makes them so creative. The growth you have both had from this video to now is also amazing!

1, 6, 8. All great. What a fun project to do together. On another topic your neighbors really put their sheds and goals right on your fence line. They appear to have nice sized yards. Just thought it odd. Love your videos.
2, 7 and 10. It was so much fun to watch you and Aaron planting these pots I hope you do it again. Benjamin is growing so fast, it's amazing.

There's something about those plants...they just make me smile. My favorite though are 12, 8 and 1. #12 is the best for me first of all because the arrangement is so original and they just knit together beautifully. Way to go Aaron! 🤗👍🌼🌿🌱
I couldn't pick just 3....way to hard, so here are my favs. 1, 6, 8, 9, 12, & 13. Thank you so much for the inspiration. I loved learning about the dead heading and how it wasn't necessary on these plants. I have a hard time keeping up with that and didn't actually know there were plants you didn't have to dead head. I can't wait to get started on my planters - thanks again!

This was the most fun competition. They look great. I am going to get my friends together with pots, plants and do this competition next year.
top 3 that's a tough one.... they are all beautiful but number 14 because of it's resilience and 13 for the drama it creates and 1 the colors are just striking. Love your garden and thank you for sharing the journey

They are all beautiful but I love 5, 6, 8 (and 9) . If I had a farm, I think I'd put just the daisies in them, think it would be so charming! I'm relatively new to your videos and am thoroughly enjoying all your suggestions and information! We are from Washington but moved to Texas two years ago for my husband's job and it's a totally new ballgame in the yard here, WOW! Thanks again!!!

YES! It's been so HOT here in South Carolina even my full sun plants and flowers are struggling and I water them every day, 2x times a day. UGH!
@@gavintiegirl were in michigan and are sunflower field died its 1 acre and the whole thing died............. we had a bad drought
5, 6 and 9 - but in reality I like all but for different reasons. As you said, good learning experience for us too.
I love 1,2 and 9. I think they are so pretty. And then little Benjamin running around has so much patience with mom and dad. He is so cute. Thanks for sharing.

My goodness miss Laura. I luv them all. Even the broken one #14 we had a hail storm come through and destroyed my pots, and ALL my hanging baskets as well and I literally thought they were all going to die. I was heart broken. Seriously. My time and money was gone in 2 mins. I pruned them back to the best of what I thought to do. I just subscribed to your channel, I didnt have the knowledge then as I do now. So they all look awesome.

The balance, color, and shape after growth of most are very appealing. Top 3: 1, 5,12 ( but really 1, 5, 6, 7,9,12,13).
Hands down 1 gets the #1 spot! Get it Aaron! Then 6 and 7. Those colors speak to me! Love this project and hope y’all start this as a yearly challenge!

I know this is an old video but 1, 6, & 12 are my favs. Aaron did a great job with his arrangements and I think hes right, less is more.
9 is my favorite, I let out an audible “oooh” when you first showed it!

My favorites have to be 1, 7, and 12. To be honest their isn’t one that I dislike and this was great inspiration.
What a fun project. I love that Aaron flexes his garden muscle. He’s also creative, but you Laura are amazing. My faves - 1, 6 (absolutely gorgeous), and 12.

I had to watch the end several times to decide. I like #2, 3, 5, 6, 7,10 & 12. However, my favorites are #6, 10 & 12. These are gorgeous!
1, 6 and 9, which surprises me because I am not a lover of the red, orange and yellow but Wow! They are gorgeous. Runner up is the one Aaron planted with the 3 daisy’s, 3 sweet potato plants and I forget the other plant. Once again-yellow. So happy to see an update.

I just watched you all do your planter container at the church, and I thought to myself I thought everything had to match , but I love this idea of the variety of flowers in each container.

Hope it's not too late to vote...1-2-6. I surprised myself by really liking the ones without the center plant and I always use a center plant!!! Thanks Aaron for being brave enough to go against the "norm" and show us how beautiful it can be to walk on the wild side!!!
1, 6 and 9. I love the different look rather than uniformity in these pots. You should both do this competition every year. I also love the warmer coloured flowers.
1, 8, 9, 10 are gorgeous. I'm usually not a warm color fan, but yours look great. And I love the concept of the last container with the hosta..so sorry it got so damaged. Next year the hosta and heuchera will be amazing if you reuse them.

Hi Laura, what a fun challenge not just for you and Aron but for me as well since I'm a Certified Horticulture and Flower Show judge!!! But not a pro yet as it's only been 6 yrs so far but here is my picks but I judged them seeing the one sided shots you showed at the end to make it fair for each container being seen from the same distance for us viewers and not when u were talking about them.
I'm sure they all will look stunning on another month.
