    I live in Iowa zone 5 and planted lemon coral sedum for the first time. They did so well that I didn’t clean them up this fall as I just couldn’t pull them out. Much to my surprise they did survive the winter!! Yay!😊👍😊

    I love those buckets! Lead Farmer 73 recommended then for fruit trees. Used it to plant Dragon Fruit since it's the only container that could accomodate the trellis.

    Beautiful! Do you put additional soil on the top once you plant the flowers?

    • @ProvenWinnersYouTube
      @ProvenWinnersYouTube Год назад

      Yes, you want extra soil below, next to, and above the plant to allow for settling when you water, and for the roots to be able to grow into, and pull nutrients from. Thanks for watching!

    Do you have another suggestion to replace the Diamond Mountain euphorbia with the Angelface superblue, Coleus wicked witch & the Superbena sparkling amethyst container? I have two dogs who are always sniffing my plants & will nibble once in a while. Thank you!

    • @ProvenWinnersYouTube
      @ProvenWinnersYouTube Год назад

      The nice thing about the euphorbias is they have an upright growth, Snow Princess is a pretty plant but has more of a mounding habit. White gaura is also pretty with an upright habit, here is a link to that plant www.provenwinners.com/plants/gaura/stratosphere-white-butterfly-flower-gaura-lindheimeri

      Our entire line of ColorBlaze coleus grow well in full sun, or full shade, or anywhere in between!

    Do you not loosen your root balls on each plant before you put them in pots?

    • @ProvenWinnersYouTube
      @ProvenWinnersYouTube Год назад +2

      No Debbie, we do not recommend this. It is not necessary--the roots will find their way into the soil, and you do risk damaging the roots while doing so. Thanks for asking.
