Great video Ryan. So much of that pointed towards a faulty ecm. Easy to be taken for a ride on that one

I think this is the problem I’ve got with a 1.5dci in a 2013 Nissan Quasqui putting red engine light on and anti skid light on and lack of power - very annoying but mine has a 3pin wire on sensor and 0volts at the signal wire with ignition on not running !! Great video great explanation nice one mate ..😀

To keep the ignition on, put it in any gear and press start until it says "remove card". When you finish making the diagnosis, press the start button twice to stop the "permanent ignition" mode

Force ignition in gear foot on brake and press ignition switch on for approx 10 seconds

@@eliteautomotivediagnostics4424 no problem it will keep substituted values until fault is cleared and ecu has done circuit check and happy good old Renault intelligence. Boost sensors on those read incorrect or stick or short quit common also up stream turbine sensor another common one

@@terminaldiagnostics5576 thanks for the info :) First time I have come across the data in EOBD being substituted, I've only ever found manufacturers data to be substituted so a good learning curve for sure.

Some cars need rpm signal to view the hole range of live data.

    Hi
very comprehensive video, would you mind answering a question ? I am trying to solve a turbo charger solenoid valve, control circuit signal outside upper limit (DTC 004517) on a Dacia Sandero Stepway 1,5DCI K9K 612 manual from 2013. I think I might have the same issue you described in your video . I tested signal voltage KOEO at 1.65Volts on the original MAP (Bosch 0281 002 997) . Figured voltage was to high so bought another MAP (Bosch 0281 002 996 superseeded part) I tested the new unit it still reads 1.65Volts key on engine off . Your suggestion is that in this state it should read nearer a volt any ideas where or how I can confirm this data , I am wondering if I have two faulty MAP sensors.

Everytime you bare troubleshooting you need to do dynamic engine log not static and you start with the data you have from the test.

Not reading cos the map / boost sensor on the intake pipe is blocked 😊

  • @سعيدصالحيوسفخليل

What is the name of the tool that you used to raise the Boost pressure sensor signal and what is its price?
Thank you for the useful information.

Should baro pressure always be the same as intake manifold pressure with just key on? This seems to make sense to me

Yes that's correct. They should always match. The engine computer uses these values for plausibility testing.

Hello friend, sorry for the trouble, I drive a laguna 3 2.0 dci, mostly I have a problem with error df 004, the other one that says +12v, also then it goes into safe mode and also turns off the cruise control because they are connected, when I clear the error it continues it works without problems, it happens to me when the car is not fully warmed up or after a few days when I don't drive the car, I step on the gas and it does that to me, when I wipe it it continues to work without problems. Is it possible that the sensor you show on your clip has gone because I have already changed the turbine pressure sensor and the same thing is happening again. In normal driving, there are no problems, and also when the car warms up and you drive a little longer, you press the gas all the way in a certain speed to avoid overtaking, there is no problem.
