Father and son bonding time fantastic to see you got a few projects on Dad i tell you these Mustangs are cool FORD POWER...cheers from Melbourne Australia
Mike I enjoy all your content however involving your son is the best! My boy is 5 and has been in the garage with me since he could walk Only way to be! Keep it up
Hey great video. One of my first ever auto repairs was replacing the water pump on my foxbody. One of the bolts was broken in the block so i ended up having to take it to a shop.😂
No kidding hasnt he!? I think Connor was 3 when I bought the mustang and made the first video, hes 11 now. He couldnt really do much until I guess around 6-8, even at his age now I don't "force" him, I just ask him sometime if he wants to help work on the car and see if he has that natural interest. Some things stick, but im getting around his teens he'll take a ton of interest in cars. He still has a lot to learn ;)
@@HOUSEOFDULA hey that's awesome! I think I'm going to start having my son hangout in the garage with me when he's five. Mostly just so he can listen better. Like you, I'm not going to force him to do anything. I also I just want to introduce him to it to see if he becomes interested
@@brianodom9411- OH! lol YESS. Dang...totally went over my head. Yessir its an upgrade, and yes a 7.3L. I love it. Needed the larger payload for all that we tow, and didnt want to pay 12k more for diesel, this 7.3 fits the need perfectly.

Apprecaite it man! He's definitely becoming part of the car family.
Looks like fluid is slinging up on the bottom of the hood. Power steering fluid maybe?
Yessir, looks like the return is leaking as well, or the pump seal.
@HOUSEOFDULA it happens. My car sits all winter so seals can dry out. I forget how old my calypso car really is sometimes LOLOL

Awe man! But sameForst ever engine work for me was a water pump as well.
@@HOUSEOFDULA haha nice! I was 14 when I tried to replace it. I would have been successful if it hadn't been for that bolt that broke.
How’s the Torino doing?
Getting old and collecting dust, but she's alive and well and holding up great. About to be moving it to what could be my own shop soonish.
Awesome that you are teaching your son how to work on vehicles and great father/son time and as usual another great how to video.
Appreciate that Mike. Anything to get him away from the video games ;) (I sound like my dad)
Connor is a better mechanic than I am. I’m afraid to mess up my fox. 😅
lol
Omg Connor is growing up so fast! Uno! How old was he when you started having him help you in the garage? My son is 3... Still too young
