- It's all packed in this video. Ford Control pack COMES TO LIFE! Wiring is is done (I mean...99% done) All it needs it FUEL and this motor WOULD FIRE!! We're making progress and cooking with gas...well almost.
I this video I go over the wiring from the truck battery relocation to the Volvo power steering pump, the AC, and the Ford Control Pack, and more. Our 2015 2.3L EcoBoost swapped 79 Fox coupe is getting close to firing up the motor.
I love it! so burnt out on LS swaps.... I mean who would want the heart of any vehicle powered by Chevy! lol
Love this build. It's inspired me to build something. May have questions for you in the future lol
Bring it on. Appreciate it, man.
Big milestone!!! Excited for you, man!
Yeah brother is fabolous
Been following you for a long time- and you inspired me to fix up my '89 GT 5.0! I am super excited for the next vid- awesome stuff man!
Appreciate the loyalty man, and so happy I can help keep these on the road. Appreciate the reply!
Exciting!
Congrats brother on the huge milestone.
Way to go Mike! It's almost alive!
You are making a ton of progress! You should look into getting an HP Tuners MPVI or COBB Accessport, they make troubleshooting and datalogging a lot easier than those hand held scanners. You can also tune the car with HP Tuners or COBB. The 300hp will be enough for a bit, but I know you'll want more!
Yessir!! Plan right now is COBB. Will be needed once I up the turbo and boost ;)
Nice work!
Need fuses coming directly off the positive distribution block for each circuit.
The wire suppling power to the electric power steering pump before the resettable breaker could burn up before the main fuse suppling power from the battery fails if shorted.
You’re correct that link the wire underneath the dash between the power steering pumps breaker and the distribution block is technically exposed….AND, it’s in a vulnerable spot, going through the HVAC blower bracket. It’s good point I will add a fuse to that circuit. I know better, but I think I was more concerned about reaching that breaker with my hand while driving in case something happened. The other circuits are fused, the control pack has a main fuse in the panel, and the yellow wire would be fused in the stock fuse panel. I still have to run the electrical circuit for the fan. It will need a fuse right at the distribution block as well. I do wish that distribution block was a little bit cleaner and in a better spot there’s not a lot of open spots to work with with 1/0 cable. Thanks for the tip.
Excited for you Mike, job well done you earned it!👈💯
HELL YEA!!!! That's awesome brother!!!! Can't wait!!! BLAT!!!! BLAT!!!! BLAT!!! BLAT!!!! WOPOW!!! WOPOW!!!! It's been a long road but the minute it fires up it'll all be worth it. I'm still in the engine assym stage. I'll get there.
Hahaha, RIGHT ON, appreciate it man. About to be making 4-banger swoosh noises.
