  • EgoBruise's 2.3L EcoBoost gets AC lines made and ran. How. Where. What. Why. The AC puzzle for EgoBruise is figured out and were just another step closer. I think fatfenders garage ac kit would have been a one stop shop. That is the kit I plan on running. Still an awesome job figuring it out yourself.

    • @HOUSEOFDULA
      @HOUSEOFDULA  7 месяцев назад

      Never heard of it but checked it out…looks to me like all truck stuff but their universal kit is the same as coldhose imo. Basic fittings and a drier, like most ask universal kits i saw. But if i missed something let me know! I’d be curious to see if ask this could have been easier, again yet to find a universal kit that worked with a foxbody orifice tube system and came with a universal accumulator.

    • @4eyefox
      @4eyefox 7 месяцев назад +1

      @HOUSEOFDULA I have the wrong company, it is fathead garage. Their kits are amazing. The kit is for a coyote swap but you can pick what compressor you are using and I don't know much about the Ecoboost but I'm willing to bet
      they are the same or easily swapped to a different compressor.

    Mike,
    Good job. I’ve always wondered if the whole system could be converted to a Vintage Air Gen IV system, the evaporator/heater box under the dash, like I installed in my 66 Fairlane. Never seen one so I guess not.
    Glad you marked the orientation of the hose in the fitting or you would play hell to assemble it.

      I honestly am not familiar with the Sn95, but as close as they are to a fox, and still a fox platform, Id be willing to bet it would be very similar if not exactly the same.

    How do you plan on doing wiring? I also have a Ford racing control pack with no ac provision and stock wiring has been removed.

    • @HOUSEOFDULA
      @HOUSEOFDULA  7 месяцев назад

      That will be covered in an upcoming video. You need to use the stock AC wiring, or at least I am. I'm integrating the pressure switch and clutch switch into the '79 factory AC wiring, its really one wire loop from the VAC Panel. The one thing that wont happen, and I still have no idea around, is to "tell" the ford control pack the AC is on to idle up. Im assuming that the ford control pack ECU's idle and drive strategy will just see the extra load from the compressor and be fine. But Im not certain yet. Going to be one of those things that will just play by ear once the car is running. The Fans, I wont be able to use stright from the ford control pack. The control pack harness will trigger a relay to kick the fans on, the AC on wire will also trigger that same relay. Would make life easier if Ford included an AC trigger input from the control pack to tell when the AC was on.

    • @GSPMotorsports
      @GSPMotorsports 7 месяцев назад

      There is someone called 'fathead garage' that sells ac wiring kits for mustangs with these swaps. You can chose either Holly or Ford racing control pack and whichever compressor you have. It has all the relays/WOT cutoff/ Fan relays all wired up for you. But it is expensive at $300. Might be worth checking out.@@HOUSEOFDULA

    looked at many, many mvac systems. never seen charge ports on the compressor like that. not saying it's wrong its just that no o.e. design system that I've seen is laid out that way
