→ The nice thing about the food factory is that it takes power on both levels. So you could put your oil press one level higher, e.g. onto another warehouse.
→ For your staircases with baracks or warhouses, if you use the same layout you have in the upper levels also on the bottom one, they take up even a bit less space. Also, some of the platforms can be replaced by small warehouses (or platform + small warehouse for the level 2 ones) for additional storage space.

Or you can stack the 3x3 Hydroponic Farms on top of a Large Storage with an outside stair case, that spirals to the top where you can place a Large Water Tower.
Does this technically take up a 5x5 area? Yes and no. Yes that's the footprint of the basic structure, however with the way Irontails use stacked construction you can utilise the staircase for other stacked buildings on the outside of the staircase like the basic bunk housing with a Porter (definitely useful to service the water tower and Hydroponic farms), Builder's Hut and a roof top terrace or two on top of 2x3 Storage for processed food to cap the outter builings on top.
Water, food and some social areas all close to where the Irontails sleep to reduce travel time for their needs.
The total structure size would be like a 7x7 Area with four 2x2 areas cut out of each corner.
Assuming you cut an irrigation feeding trench underneath the paths & structures you can even have the Irontails consistently get the wet fur bonus when they leave the Hydroponic Housing Block.
