Pratik's hatred for veganism comes from his anti-West stance. He thinks veganism is western leftist propaganda and has no basis in Hinduism. Instead of being blindly anti West he should understand that veganism can have a Hindu outlook. Rishi Munis used to live on fruits and vegetables in the jungle. Isn't that vegan enough for Pratik who advocates Hindu values. Looks like he needs to strike a balance between his nationalism and religion.

To eat you have to eventually kill another species. If a lion kills another animal for food will it become unethical? If you think meat and dairy products are unethical then same can be said about plants. Eventually to survive and eat you'll have to kill something whether it's plant or animal. It's now nature is built.

Sweet story
Same can be said about plants. To survive one has to eat. Even animals kill other animals. If a lion kills another animal for food is that unethical? Obviously it's not. It needs to eat to survive. So killing another species for food is natural and part of nature.

The last time i checked, most people who consume meat do not hunt ! They just breed animals into existence, keep them in captivity and then kill them for their meat or byproducts. Why is there a need to kill when we can always choose a more compassionate way of living by consuming plants and still gain all the needed nutrition ? Imagine being in the shoes of animals, they dont have a voice, hence people exploit them just because they cant fend for themselves. If you have a pet (a dog for example) and people out there were eating dogs, will you not be angry towards them ? If you would be angry, how different are the rest of the animals compared to your dog ? With all due respect, take some time and think about these 🙏

I could not hear after 21:00. I just couldn’t. It is so disturbing to know these facts. I am a proud vegan today but I have also become more and more sensitive to hear about such inhuman practices which are going on against animals. I get overly emotional on such things. May god give me strength to hear and see such cruelty and become stronger every passing day. I can’t imagine the kind of strength you have both mental and physical for being able to stand for these poor animals. Doing reaearch and educating people about it. Hats of to you!

Going Vegan should be considered as a sensitive, Kind and lawful act to prevent innocent animals from being tortured and being treated immorally. Rather than considering it as a propaganda. As observing the current scenario animals are actually tortured for the sake of taste, fashion and other so called human necessities. So going vegan is the "need of hour" not a propaganda. We must show compassionate and merciful behaviour towards animals.

That's a half-truth. While it is true that he never drank cow milk after he vowed to do so, he started consuming goat's milk after a doctor said he should drink milk to stay healthy. The argument he gave for breaking the vow was he only thought about cow's milk when he decided to stop. It's sad but true. If I remember correctly, I read it in either his autobiography or in 'the freedom at midnight' book.

sir, before lockdown I was vegan for about 5-6 months after being influenced by one of vegan pro video, but then during lockdown my family didnt let me skip meat or milk, as it was believed that it helps with being immune,
now after about 2 years I see your videos and I definetly am gonna stay vegan man,
its not really that hard to stay vegan or it didnt really make alot of difference in my health pattern or any as such in those early stage of me being vegan, keep inspiring and enlightening man.
we as consumers basically forget the process of a product, and its not completely a consumers lack of knowledge about all these, we just need to realise the impact and the heights of the consequences of the process of the final product.

I completely agree. Dairy industry is also one of the darkest ones. Back in the time, in my village, we loved cows as our family members, fed them before us, and we lived in harmony, but now, they are being used as things, which can be sold and bought, tied, forcefully bred using injection semens and a lot more, used for leather, their calves are cut and slaughtered as soon as their mothers stop milking. This needs to stop. Everyone should come forward. Whenever I say to someone that stop eating meat, they give bullshit reasons like plants also has life, food chain bla bla. Love from Bihar.

You can eat peas, beans, lentils which are all very healthy for our guts and overall health. Just google why they're so healthy. Even weightlifters use pea protein. Other good protein sources are of course tofu, seitan, tempeh, quinoa etc. You don't get deficiency in protein unless you eat only limited category like just fruits.@@vegan111

1) I respect that veganism is working on animal rights and protection worldwide but i dissent when vegans go completely senseless out of emotions, Animals still is an animal we moralically spiritually mentally emotionally take mother cow as mother and we are against all the atrocities from forced semen injection to killing her calf sending her to slaughter house latching her in most brutal way trading her etc all are not something done with an mother, Which we totally are against to, But that doesnt mean that petting her, Milking her for human use is anywhere inhumane or goes against her rights, For example if anything is un-natural violent and threat to any living being in any manner they would repulse refrain or get anger but milking cow or buffalo which doesn’t require any violence to push onto her is completely cruelty free she do nit refrain angers or repulse when we milk her, If we are giving her the all the respect and comfort as an mother so if we takes her milk for our survival after providing her calf the first right to consume the milk then how does that act is an act of violence?? If we expect our parents to do something for us for our survival is that we doing violence onto our parents?? No, So i disagree with veganism that we should not milk the animals.
2) Now vegans say do not tie the animals, See even if we accept mother cow as mother still there is lack in communication because of difference in species, Latching animal in non cruelty manner providing them all the lands and comfort to gaze and grow and leaving her out in animal kingdom in wild where not only she but her calf can be eaten alive anytime of the day no place is protected while we provide them with all the protection comfort ease food needed so how are we cruel when we give them ease and not cruel when left in wild to get be eaten alive at anytime or die out of starvation or eat all the malicious junk and trash which most of neighbourhood animals do?? So some of the restrictions which seems cruel if a human puts itself in place of that animal are just communication gap, Hence the whole point is even if there must be animal rights an cruelty free place for animals with more morals and ethics into humans to not just exploit animals for selfish reasons even after all this should and must exist still animals cant be given with equivalence right as those of humans because the difference in species and difference of work, When we cant put any duty on animals then we cant provide them with rights its totally illogical, The only rights we can provide them is to not behave with them as selfish and as violent, Rights like - Freedom of roaming free to some extent, Gazing, Calf with first right on milk, Ban on slaughter houses and farmers trading them, Ban on force semen injection and proper care of any animal those are the rights must be provided to any animal.
3) Animals can never become human stop making them up, Theyre innocent being who need our love and there right to live cruelty free, If vegans want me that to pet a cow i should first let her sleep on my bed or to pet an tiger i should eat with it on same table so no dear its not possible because in that term i would become victim of there survival instinct, What i can do is leaving tiger into the wild and see them from distance instead of in circus and putting cow in clean and right shed with all comfort she as an animal and as an mother required.
4) Vegans can come up with hundreds of researches occurring everyday as how dairy product are bad for us similarly we can come up with researches how vegan diet lead malnutrition and insufficient muscle growth and how costly it is, But these research wars doesnt lead to anywhere , We are living from millennium with dairy products with one of the best historical genes and you’re telling me dairy products are unhealthy?? These are rubbish things, Yes we can live without dairy products completely but that will not help society to see humans body with all of itself and what it could been, That is why vegetarian dairy products are cheap and great things to consume if coming from cruelty free terms.

Jainism supports and promotes veganism. It has done so for a long time! (Centuries, in fact). Saying that a culturally rich India has always been devoid of brilliant ideas like veganism is WRONG!
Showing kindness towards all animals without any financial or other superficial motive is important. Why can't we all revere cows and not expect anything in return? Why must we offer care and affection towards an animal like cow in exchange for milk?

i have become healthier and lost weight after being vegan. I love my healthy lifestyle and now i have resorted to well balanced vegan diet for my kids. Paediatrician stated my kid is doing well physically but let me state that my daughter was born with nutritional deficiencies.
