Any boy who grew up in the 80's and 90's was hype as hell seeing Chuck, Arnie, Bruce, Jean Claude, Sly, and the whole gang together in one movie. I don't care about "cinematography" or any of that, this movie still rocks for the simple fact that it's like a childhood dream. Came out the year I graduated high school and I don't think I'll ever forget how hype the whole theater was.
My sister had posters of boy bands, I had pictures of JCVD and Dolph!! Good times lol
-Taylor (tomboy) 😂
I know right. The only person missing that would have really completed the set is Clint Eastwood. He is the one that got away lol.
Ko😊
I almost went deaf in the theater when chuck walked onto the scene and EVERYBODY went nuts.
Van Damme is so good as a villain
Those guys are the real Avengers
"Is there an evil Bruce Willis movie?"
Answer: Jackal.
Great movie. Definitely one JL should watch.
Richard Gere vs. Bruce Willis
Agreed. The Jack Black scene is classic.
damn I didn't read far enough.
YES !!!
@@nobodyyouknow6998speed test
Take a shot every time J says "STFU" hahaha
Haha. I was Just writing about the Cory & Nick channel and how fun it would be for a big collab with them, EOM, and a couple other similar reactors; and that's Cory & Nick's thing -- to take saki shots for different reasons on every reaction
I LOVE how much you enjoyed that! Made it more fun for me. Great reaction, as usual. I knew you'd love the live action Chuck Norris meme.
Aww! I love Strugglenation.
Yes. When he said their name and showed their logo, I smiled from ear to ear. I love them.
I just found this channel called Cory & Nick and I can't recall which movie reaction I was watching with them, but I started wondering what a joint reaction with them, WWAM, Struggle Nation, and EOM would be like.
Especially something for Halloween. It would be wild because they're all very different, but they're all really funny in their own way:
EOM with his looks into the camera, laugh, and "sthu"
Struggle Nation with silly Struggle and funny MDogg
WWAM with semi hyper Mike and strangely angry J
And wise azz Cory and goofball Nick (who remind me of Billy and Stu for real, hahaha)
It would be Mayhem.
But I'd love for EOM and Struggle to partner up on a reaction. It would be great
I need part 3 TOMORROW!! 😂
The highest grossing installment of the trilogy.
The closest to the original concept as an 'old school' action feature.
EX2 was directed by Simon West, who helmed Con-Air (1997), Lara Croft:Tomb Raider(2001) and the 2011 remake of The Mechanic with Jason Statham.
It just takes more and more of what we love about films like this.
Everything was considered to make this epic and EX2 succeeded in making a lot of room for everyone.
Almost ever action star we know of is right here.
Stallone, Schwarzenegger and Willis alone complete the epicness.
This was the 2nd American film for HK actress Yu Nan (Maggie).
Originally they wanted Michelle Yeoh as the first female Expendable and I heard that she recommended this actress for the role instead.
There is an Expendables 2 game, downloadable and four-players.
PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
The game is an prequel to the movie.
On a somber note, Sly Stallone's eldest born child and son, Sage passed away about a month before the film's release.
He co-starred with his dad in Rocky V (1990) and Daylight (1996).
The Expendables 3 was PG-13 theatrically.
So check out the unrated version instead.
9:54 - there IS an 'evil Bruce Willis' movie out there. It's called 'The Jackal' (1997)
Absolutely. Great movie.
Bruce Willis is a "bad guy" in Looper and Planet terror, also kinda The Siege
The Jackal
Evil Bruce Willis
😅
Bruce Willis in The Jackal he plays a very enigmatic bad guy. Please watch
Planet terror Bruce Willis
Hell Yes!
Don’t wait, just watch #3. More surprises.
Guess this is the re edit fast work ❤
There is and evil Bruce Willis movie, The Jackal. No pun intended but he absolutely kills the role.
Another great reaction to another awesome movie. Also, I immediately subbed to Struggle Nation. Thanks.
The jackal. Bruce willis. Richard Gere
This was peak for me. First was alright, this was a true love letter. I didn't watch any of the others after.
Watch with the commentary on. I think you’ll like it. It’ll answer a lot of questions.
Just a question… I might’ve missed some thing when I was out my access to RUclips for a while, why did we start airing so many of the movies in the the middle of the afternoon afternoon? I love to watch live, but unfortunately, my work schedule conflicts with that. Still love catching up with the VODs, just curious as to the change
They perform better the more daylight they have. Plus it allows Blank and myself to do other things that need done in the afternoon. Like I’m able to twitch as early as 6pm eastern instead of 9pm allowing for more people to hang out on twitch - J
You're slippin' a little, though not by much. "Shut the fu€k" count last one, 31 in 44 minutes. This one, only 24 in 40 minutes. 😂
Spaceballs makes up for any video's STFU shortcomings. LoL
@EOMreacts Watch The Jackal for Bruce willis as a good Bad guy
J, you want a villain Bruce Willis flick? Check out The Jackal👌
You have to watch The Jackal. Bruce Willis is the bad guy in it.
Sadly this is the last masculine testosterone film since then till now how worlds changed
♥️🖤♥️
bro, stop cussing all the time. You are censoring it anyway.
Bro, quit coming to my channel telling me what to do. It’s been working out fine how we are doing it - J
@@EOMReacts fair enough.
Van damme. Sly and arnold in the same movie was ALL LITTLE BOYS OF THE 80S AND 90S dream come true!!!
Chuck Norris in this bitch too.
Yeah Van Damme was evil a damn savage in this movie.
You know Jay loves a series when he watches part 2 so soon after part 1.
I think this was the best of the series.
Same.
Totally agree
Yeah.
Bruce Willis as the villain? Check out The Jackal.👍
Lol I can't remember anything from that movie except jack black standing there like an idiot holding a cigarette pack and getting his arm blown off..😂😂
yo that would make a great reaction. underrated lil flick
Absolutely underrated movie. Bruce Willis was a menace.
You beat me to it. The Jackal is definitely underrated.
Last man standing Is a bruce willis underrated classic.
The guy that got in Jason's face when they first run into Van Dam is Scott Adkins. Guy is a super bad ass in real life, especially in martial arts.
Wasn't he wearing a fat suit in one of the John Wick movies? That was badass
@@chrispipes5451 yep he was the one
Would love to see Scott and Jason try and redo do one of the best fight scenes in martial arts. The fight scene in Wheels On Meals between Jackie Chan and Benny " The Jet" Urquidez. That or Scott and Jackie because those guys were extremely fast in that fight scene. The Jet holds world records for fastest knock outs and kicks.
In X-Men Origins:Wolverine Scott Adkins was the prototype Deadpool fighting Wolverine and Sabertooth at the end.
The crazy thing about dolph is that in real life, he's very smart. He's got a phd. in chemical engineering and some other accolades (pretty sure it's a phd)
Too true 🧐, & soon after OG Punisher 💀, "Adolfo" was with Van Damme in Universal Soldier, the weirdest Vietnam War movie. 🤔
I loved the og Universal Soldier.
Also, it's always a blast learning secret talents of your favorite stars like him having a PhD.
Like the time I found out that Dexter Holland from the band The Offspring has a PhD in molecular biology or something.
@@JohnLoutsenhizer…also
• Brian May from Queen is an astrophysicist
• Mayim Bialik from Big Bang Theory is an actual neuroscientist (she didn’t *just* play one on TV)
• Rebel Wilson from the Pitch Perfect franchise is a lawyer
I gotta warn you J, once you start collecting big knives, you can't stop.😂😂😂
Truth
Cant wait for the expendables 3🔥
Is Van damme really a character if he doesn't kick you in some sort of way 😂
Van Damme right hand man Is Scott Adkins, has movies like Undisputed 2 and 3 , ninja 1 , 2 and also a universal soldier amongst many more. He was also dead pool at the end of Wolverine origins.
I think he’s the dude in the fat suit fighting John Wick in the German night club in part 4 too.
@@justinpitcock5312yes that's him. He did great too
@@HoratioVelveteen-nl5kw right on!!
Universal Soldier is a fun flick. It also reunites Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren, too.
I'm really glad Van Damme got a second chance in this movie. He shows how an attitude adjustment can do for a person. I hope to see him more often
Evil Bruce Willis movie… THE JACKAL
Stallone, Schwarzenegger & Willis.
THE HOLY TRINITY!!
Forever and always.
Throw van damm and you got the 4 horseman of action (or chuck Norris)
Saw this one in the theater few days afyer it cameout. Saw it cuz of the return of van damme to theaters. And the theater was half full. The moment jean claude showed up it was clapping and cheers from the theater full of guys. It was badass. Wish hollywood would give van damme starring theatrical roles again.
Agreed. He deserves a second chance. He's proven to be a really flexible action actor. He's a great hero And villain
This is my favorite of the Expendables movies. I love that they are a love letter to the 80s, and 90s.
Bro,
As soon as I saw you were watching these, I knew you would have a great time. This is what Summer action movies are supposed to be. This shit is great
You see Chuck Norris stare down that tank!? lol. Strugglenation The Shit! You right, they somehow the realest peoples and often playing characters also. Totally unique
26:03 Y’all can’t tell me JL ain’t having the same looks as his pups when they hear you grabbing their bag a treats lol that scene was a treat!!!!!
I’m dying rn 😂😂🎉
Love how finally a movie brings ups Dolph for all his muscles and being an actual martial artist is also a real genius.
You want to see Bruce Willis as the bad guy? Watch The Jackal. Fucking amazing in that movie!
The jackal with Richard Gere, Bruce Willis and Sidney Poitier. Bruce Willis is a ruthless assassin in that movie. Jack Black is in the movie as well
People taking a hostage, the good guys giving up their guns and the bad guys killing the hostage anyway is one of the old movie tropes that I don't miss. It's like staring at radiation and getting cringe cancer on your eyelids. We all know what's going to happen but we still have to watch it play out every damn time.
I was in Afghanistan when this came out and saw it at the base theater. When Chuck Norris came out, the whole place lost their shit. It was awesome.
The Jackal Bruce plays an assassin.
Bruce Willis plays the villain in a movie called the jackal. Also starring Richard Greer & Sydney Potjer
Still giving my all time favorite reactions
In the beginning they came in like Team America World Police
Damn I missed him!
Fuck yeah!
The first three Expendables is just pure gold in every way. I watch them all many times a year. I wish JCVD had a few more known stars behind him to flesh out both sides like we had Stone Cold with Eric Roberts in the first one. Can't wait for you to see number three. Cheers.
Van Dams side kick was Scott adkins. Hes a beast. You should check out his movie called Undisputed 2.
"We keep it light until it's time to get dark. Then we get pitch black." That's one of my favorite lines in this movie.
26:00 beyond STFU is the little seen territory of 'Absolutely Speechless'.
Sad part about this movie is that Sylvester Stallone's oldest son passed away right after it was released RIP Sage Stallone
We definitely need a reaction to all of them soon and also take a look at the hitmans bodyguard it’s very good
Now you need to start watching van Damme movies
Maggie is played by Yu Nan. Chinese actress who played in Asian films and art house films. Not really a big known actress in the west but helped sell the movie in Asian markets.
Part of this movie was shot in china, and their policy at the time was if you are going to shoot in china you have to have a Chinese actor/actress. That is the jet li replacement in this film. (Or so it was reported when it was being made)
Van dams boy is also a vilian in Jon Wick 4. Played the guy dealing the card game.
This was just one big orgy of action nostalgia and im here for it
27:49 Scott Adkins in Real life trains in Taekwondo, judo, karate, Ninjitsu, wushu, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, kickboxing etc.
Great cast!!! Love the series for the casting!
Yeah at the end the final fight between Sly and Van Damme i was roothing for Van Damme to beat Sly ass but! we all knew that wasnt going happen.🤣🤣🤣
Vin diesel, The Rock, Jackie chan, and Donnie Yen were all offered roles for this sequel
Van Damme the legend. He would have whipped Stallone's azz in real life. Haha.
out of all of them i think van damme in prime would beat them all other than the ufc guy but if damme trained i feel like he would beat him as well
Perhaps. Van Damme got his ass beat by a cowboy in a bar in Kingman, Az while filming Universal Soldier.
@@rakitakhan never heard of this before and would need actual evidence to make me think otherwise, not impossible there is always someone better somewhere
@@streetracer1086 IDC, believe what you want. VD in his prime couldn't beat Scott Adkins or Randy Couture unless they just layed down. Don't believe everything you see in the movies.
@@rakitakhan WHY COMMENT THEN MORON, THIS IS WHY I SAID HE WOULD HAVE TO TRAIN LIKE A FIGHTER FOR REAL JESUS do you idiots pay any attention to comments i guess not exactly why i said he would not beat the actual prof fighter unless he trained like one, don't believe ANYTHING your tiny mind tells you
It's ridiculous how fun these movies are. Appropriately, this one got twice az many "STFU"s as the first, and Part 3 should yield about three times as many.
Bruce Willis is a great Villain in The Jackal. Good flick.
I don't know if any movie could possibly have more testosterone than this movie did. I wish I'd seen it in a theater, because as someone who enjoyed 80's and 90's actions films, I would have gone bonkers seeing this on the big screen. One of the funniest exchanges between the guys on the Struggle Nation channel happened when they watched the Conjuring 2, relating to that painting of the nun. Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard at their tete-a-tete. As always, J, your reactions are THE BEST. ❤
Watch The Jackal if you want evil Bruce Willis. Really good movie too.
you want an expendables video game?! try Broforce! its got the old school vibes with all the action!
This is my favorite Expendables movie. I love how it is a love letter to the 80s and 90s action movies. Also StruggleNation is one of my top reactors I watch (besides yours of course). Love them!
Evil Bruce Willis movie - The Jackal, it's good.
Play the game Broforce. Epic 8 bit version of this.
Is there an evil Bruce Willis movie?
Watch The Jackal.
I literally thought the title said EOM EDIBLES FOR THE FIRST TIME 🤣🤣🤣 lol
Evil Bruce Willis? The Jackal... i think anyways.
Check out The Jackal Bruce Willis is the bad guy
The 80s and 90s Avengers of action hero movies.
The Jackel is a evil Bruce Willis movie. He kills Jack Black in cold blood!
The Siege 1998 Bruce Willis is evil in that movie J
I wish J would react to Mission in Action 2 with Chuck Norris in it.
22:09 bro I’m choking 😂🤣😂
scott adkins was in this movie too
I highly recommend undisputed 1,2,3 good fight scenes and the actor Scott Adkins van dammes right hand man is the main guy he is incredible
Was he in the 1st one? I thought he was in 2,3 and 4 I thought Wesley Snipes was the 1st one?
@@gandolfthegreen7158 yeah you're right but the Wesley snipes one is also very good my bad I'm very high 😂
@@paytongibson9488 yeah it is and me too bro don’t worry about it 😂
Watch the Jackal
You asked for Bruce Willis as the villain... I give you, "The Jackal (1997)." Bruce Willis, Richard Gere, and Sidney Poitier... maybe some others you might recognize.
5:51 the name of that videogame is Broforce.
Awesome reaction of my favorite The Expendables movie!!!!!!😊😊😊😊😊
Game that is basically a video game of Expendables is BroForce. There is even a Expendables DLC called ExpendaBros.
Evil (or at least a bad guy) Bruce Willis movie is The Siege (1999) starring Denzel Washington.
Now that you've seen two Expendables films, you need to watch the king of them all: Hard Boiled (1992), starring Chow Sun Fat and directed by John Woo!
You’d probably enjoy playing Broforce, just a heads up though, bring friends ^_^.
This franchise, I tell you man, only Sly could’ve make this work. It’s a tribute to his abilities on and off the screen. Truly the greatest action star of all time.
Most are suggesting The Jackal, but another is Mortal Thoughts. Also stars Demi Moore. Thriller. Ooooh man, he's a bad guy
If you haven't yet, see RED: Retired and Extremely Dangerous. Another old people kick ass movie.
