My Anova precision oven has arrived, I'm thrilled to test recipes with it!
The oven has a temperature range of 25 - 250c, it also allows you to control humidity, which means it can be used to proof croissants! We shall see what It's capable of.

You are so funny. I bought the same oven In the quest of having humidity control for proofing. So far I have been doing trial and error. You have to publish a setting for this oven. 👍

Yes the emu scene has been lush...Do you think there is another good option to this oven? Anything cheaper? Still to bake croissants, bread, cakes....
OMG I always see the Anova oven in the ads. I guess they recommend the Anova oven in my RUclips ads because I always watch a lot of bread videos.

How do you like this oven? My countertop convection oven died this week and looking for another. I LOVE the option with steam... would allow better proofing for croissants and breads....
I think It's awesome, It works well and offers way more versatility than your regular oven. Especially good for proofing croissants, not more fear of butter melting😬

Yes it's has only top and bottom heating option!
Hey, what are your thoughts on the oven so far? Does it cook much more evenly than a regular countertop oven?
It's great, I literally just cooked dinner with it. Definitely more even cooking than a regular countertop oven.

Do you find the max temperature sufficient for baking sourdough breads?
I haven't tried sourdough with this oven yet but I assume yes.
