When I was 8 or so, i had a horrifying experience with a large black stuffed bear my grandma had given me. Thing was absolutely possessed - either by me being afraid of it, something had entered it, or by something having already been in it that made me fear it.
Interestingly, I still collect stuffed animals and dolls and tend to pick up especially ones that are on the verge of being discarded because i believe in the love by which they were crafted and i want to revive them and give them another place to be beautiful and loved. But i trust my gut when one just gives off an aura that is menacing.
That bear was the only one in my life that actively moved and distorted (right at the frickin foot of my bed - i lost all my ability to breathe and passed tf out. it may have simply been savoring my fear and intent on compounding it until the right time to off me, or i was protected by some holy being which i personally believe). My mom believed me about it (bc she's awesome like that), and we got rid of it. But while I don't necessarily believe this particular pasta, junk like that is real and worth trusting your instincts about.

I mean,there is a mention of a dog,which never gets mentioned again,it also had a habit of eating things,which would explain why it gets deadly,it would also explain why he never attacks the sister, because maybe the sister always loved the dog but the brother (the storyteller) always thought it was stupid, which would explain why he never mentioned the dog again.
Or maybe the dog died and possesed it coincedently when the bear was placed in the brothers room.

I remember this dream I had this one time, my dad had this doll that I never had liked when I was 8 or 9 and I cried over it because it was so creepy, although he only put it up during Halloween. I had this creepy dream of where I woke up in my parents bed and saw the doll hanging in its usual spot. I blinked once and the doll made direct eye contact with me and I blinked again and the doll was just... gone. There was music playing in my dream, a loud screeching sound to the side of my parents bed, I blinked again. It was staring right at me from the side of me. I blinked again and the doll was right over my head with loud music playing and then finally I woke up. It shocked me to my core

okay, my friend's dad's ex girlfriend
had this CREEPY ASS TEDDY BEAR.
when i was at their house it was always there.
it was on a shelf in the bedroom. one of it's eyes
was broken, so because of the way it was positioned,
when me and my friend
sat on the bed, it looked like the bear was looking
at us. it was very old. we called it "the tara bear"
because my friend's dad's ex gf was named tara.
we even made up a song for it, it goes like this:
