Is Netflix's Anne with an E (2017) too Edgy?

I really enjoyed the part where Anne used the f word.
There are going to be some light spoilers (general plots of episodes as well as footage used).
Also, it should be said that if you really love the Sullivan version over this one, or you just don't like this version, that's obviously fine! Ultimately this is still just my opinion.
