Honestly, the thing that bothered me the most is that we didn’t get to find out what happened to Ka’Kwet. Of course, I was very disappointed that the show ended when Anne and Gilbert just got together, but we have to admit that is sort of a reasonable ending. But Ka’Kwet!!!! Amybeth, when you speak, it’s like ... the Irish accent is luring there under the surface all along 😊 And every once in a while it pops out, and that’s just really nice, because I love the way Irish people speak, and so should people in general. 😊 You don’t have a strong accent, and especially in “Anne” I think one can’t hear it at all, but it’s nice to hear bits and pieces of it here. I just finished season 3, it’s the most amazing series I’ve seen, ever, thank you so much! - And we all of course wish for seasons 4, 5, 6 etc ...
I don't think portraying her character would just .. erase a powerful Irish accent away. It is very faint, though. You can really hear it sometimes but not so much most of the time, sadly.
@@Angel-xe2tl It's very unlikely that she had a *full* Irish accent and it just . . . went away like that. so yeah. I did some research and she isn't just Irish, but she's Irish-Canadian. Her father was Irish and her mother is Canadian and she was homeschooled so she probably picked up a lot of her mothers Canadian accent as well. That's probably why her accent is so shifty. Doing a lot of show business could've affected it as well. Her "Irishness" really shows when she says certain words, especially when she explains Irish slang to Lucas Jade Zunnman. There are definitely times in this video where you can hear it clearly, but I don't think she had a full Irish accent and filming a show in Canada completely changed it lol.

L.M. Montgomery created such a compelling and magical character in AnnE Shirley. No way you can pull off such a believable portrayal of her without having some of that magic yourself. Amazing work Amybeth!
anne with an e is based off of the novel "anne of green gables" (you should read it). In the book she sees herself as and everyone calls her ugly, so it's not a comment on the actress but on the character as she is written. I mean the fact that she is "ugly" in the book doesn't mean she was actually ugly, just different.

It's so true though, when you're a red haired child with freckles alot of people will make fun and act like you're ugly. I dealt with that alot growing up. Then everyone seemed to have the opposite reaction as I got older, all the people who rejected me in the past suddenly thought I was beautiful. It was really weird for me. I absolutely love my red hair and freckles now. I'm happy that I got to a place where I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Best drama series we’ve seen. A beautiful setting with a great storyline and brilliant actors. This is the kind of shows we need that have heart. Please bring Anne with an e back!

Amybeth, when you speak, it’s like ... the Irish accent is luring there under the surface all along 😊 And every once in a while it pops out, and that’s just really nice, because I love the way Irish people speak, and so should people in general. 😊 You don’t have a strong accent, and especially in “Anne” I think one can’t hear it at all, but it’s nice to hear bits and pieces of it here. I just finished season 3, it’s the most amazing series I’ve seen, ever, thank you so much! - And we all of course wish for seasons 4, 5, 6 etc ...

Her Irish accent is so faint. Probably because she has to have a Canadian accent a lot
I don't think portraying her character would just .. erase a powerful Irish accent away.
It is very faint, though. You can really hear it sometimes but not so much most of the time, sadly.

I did some research and she isn't just Irish, but she's Irish-Canadian. Her father was Irish and her mother is Canadian and she was homeschooled so she probably picked up a lot of her mothers Canadian accent as well. That's probably why her accent is so shifty. Doing a lot of show business could've affected it as well. Her "Irishness" really shows when she says certain words, especially when she explains Irish slang to Lucas Jade Zunnman. There are definitely times in this video where you can hear it clearly, but I don't think she had a full Irish accent and filming a show in Canada completely changed it lol.

anne with an e is based off of the novel "anne of green gables" (you should read it). In the book she sees herself as and everyone calls her ugly, so it's not a comment on the actress but on the character as she is written. I mean the fact that she is "ugly" in the book doesn't mean she was actually ugly, just different.
There has to be a season 4 of anne with an e! We left jerry heartbroken, that native girl in that place and the teachers story

It's so true though, when you're a red haired child with freckles alot of people will make fun and act like you're ugly. I dealt with that alot growing up. Then everyone seemed to have the opposite reaction as I got older, all the people who rejected me in the past suddenly thought I was beautiful. It was really weird for me. I absolutely love my red hair and freckles now. I'm happy that I got to a place where I wouldn't trade them for anything.
