Same! With the série being canceled I'm sad. I want to know her story, what is going happen to her. Also with the long-distance relationship that Anne and Gilbert will have, there so many things that could happen.

I love the show because it's so emotional and heart warming and no killing. Don't enjoy too much violence. Really sad that there's no 4th season. I love this series.
I believe they canceled this amazing show because it touched the subject of tyranny of the Caucasian Americans against the Native Americans and the abuse the misguided white Christians caused on the Indian Children. Sadly it is not likely that she got a happy ending. Those schools where very cruel places, many children died and never got to see their families again. 😭😭😭😭
Yes, agree with @Colleen Martain. It's most likely that Ka'Kwet had a terrible ending. These residential schools punished feisty children who did not want to adapt to "White/ European" culture and wanted to keep their Native roots and pride in their Native heritage. It's most likely she was tortured or beaten to death, or sexually abused. If she did survive the experience, she would have come out of the school severely traumatized with no place in the "Euro/western" society, and also having forgotten her Native language and cultural traditions.

The show is actually amazing and such a good series for kids to watch like at least 10+ plus , it’s so magical and calming and the end KSNSJSHSJSHH but I love Gilbert 😌
I think the distress caused by the lack of closure to the Ka'kwet storyline is actually a good thing. It brings exposure to what happened to first nation's children during that time period. No other group in Canada's history had a concerted effort by government and religious institutions to strip away their culture and religion like that. Only natives did. Why? How come those who emigrated to Canada were able to maintain their culture but the indigenous people had theirs threatened. Their language, their religious beliefs, their culture was under attack by people who claimed it was for their own good. To make them fit in. In the USA they tried to kill them first and then wipe out their heritage as well after. But native americans and their culture survived the threat. They were damaged in the process but they and their culture have survived. And yet while they were trying to wipe them out as people and destroy their language, both Canadians and Americans kept their place names intact. Ontario, Manitoba, Winnipeg, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota. Was that just a token or souvenir of their domination over them. Like counting coup. I don't know but I do know that our two countries are so much better off for the survival of the native americans. Their determination, persistence and spiritual culture to survive here for ten thousand years is a beacon of hope for the future.
In America, I live in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Two very native names. So where I live Native American culture has survived very well. We have art festivals every year and there are lots of Native artisans, and you can find lots of Native cultural things all over TN. I have Native American heritage from my mom, but I've never actually been involved in the culture through my family as it's not really been carried down due to lots of watering down the DNA and a more traditionally modern American lifestyle. Mostly through the arts and through cultural studies and activities (like the festivals I mentioned, and flea markets, things like that), is where I've actually learned. I think that in other areas the culture isn't as alive. Such as maybe the northeast, everything is a lot more European, Canadian leaning, from my experience, anyway. And the west (not the midwest, it's very alive in the midwest) such as Cali, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, where culture is much more Hispanic and Latino-leaning. In my personal opinion, I think that the reason people are so much more embracing of cultures now is that we haven't been a Catholic people in a long time. The first settlers were Catholics who were becoming protestants, so they had come out of an environment where the government and church were one and were extremely strict. I think that's possibly the main factor that shaped the dislike towards Natives, that and the fact that Natives were different, something that was so discouraged more specifically in European and Middle Eastern nations. However, I think that sadly the hatred of differences has been something that's been a part of human culture and corruption since the very first civilizations of people. It's always been really interesting to me how much people sometimes stray from the true teachings of their religion and yet still use their religion as an excuse for their egregious actions. For instance, the Judeo-Christian texts are actually very very against racism, sexism, and homophobia, and yet for so many years, certain groups of that particular religious persuasion have found ways to alter the truth of what the texts teach to fit their agendas. You can find that problem in Islam, too. The Muslim people are as a whole not violent in any way, but there are always the extremist individuals or groups that define the entire people even though it's terrible and shouldn't happen that way. I have some Persian cousins who would never hurt a fly, and yet people automatically assume all Muslims are terrorists. Anyway, this is all just me going off of what you said and providing some more discussion for the topic.

I'm sorry but if we're gonna go by Canada's history, it's highly unlikely that happened 😭. Residential schools actually existed in Canada. Children got abused, raped, and many even killed. Its highly unlikely she escaped, and even if she did (some kids did) its even more unlikely that she made it home to her family and had a happy ending. Many kids who did manage to escape either died on the journey home or got taken back by "Indian" agents when they returned.

The part where Anne said 'Dear Gilbert, I look like my mother.' I tought that wasn't the end but it ended immediately
i really love anne's voice. hoping for next season. 😭
Wow she’s beautiful
My wife and I recently found your show. We hope for a 4th season
This show was so good such a shame they canceled it.After the new news I think we definitely need more shows like that.
Amo esta historia!!! Es una série maravillosa!!
They are both so beautiful in their own way
I need season 4 if they don’t release it I’ll be in the depths of despair 😩
they are gorgeousss ❤️❤️ so so lovely, and they fit their roles so amazingly
also!! ka’kwet’s storyline was so very important and it’s not right for her story to not be finished!! the show showed indigenous hurting but not indigenous healing!! #renewannewithane, if not for me and my broken heart, then for ka’kwet.
if u love this show too, make sure to sign the petition, which has already gotten more than 1million signatures, the most in any show renewal campaign in history.
Kiawenti:io is soooooo pretty!!!😍
They are gorgeous!!!
I will never get over the cancellation of this beautiful masterpiece called "Anne with an E". The show introduced us to a whole world full of interesting characters, meaningful stories and adventures.
my god, they are so perfect!
I WANT SEASON FOUR !!
Pleaseeeeee give us the 4th season!!!!
Omg I love them both ❤️
I truly hope they return with another season 😢. I'm so glad that Anne & Gilbert were able to finally get on the same page. We NEED a new season, to see what happens with the kidnapping of ka'kwet & the other children. We need to know what happens with Diana & Jerry 😑😣🙄
I am in the depths of despair that this show is canceled 🙁
already finished this wonderful series I really wanted the 4th season I'm from Brazil bye kisses
How do we find the petition to sign for season 4? This show literally warms my heart. Even talking about the show warms my heart and has the ability to restore my love for life completely just after watching the 40 or so minutes of a single episode. If they are having trouble finding another writer for the show, I will gladly step in and give it all I got :) hahah
We need season 4 for ka' kwet! Legit the child is still trapped bruh wth they just left her for college!!!
if we're gonna go by historically accurate, I highly doubt that ka'kwet has a happy ending 😔
It is the nicest thing ever the kids are playing kids using the kids language and ideas.
Come on Netflix.Make Season 4!!!
How could you do this to us!! Amybeth and her fellow actors are superb in it.
Love them both ❤️
