Life taught me this lesson the hard way at a young age. I was angry at my father for breaking up our family. He had an affair which led to my parents divorcing. My order brothers went to live with our dad. My younger brothers and myself stayed with our heartbroken mom. I was so bitter and angry with him. I told him that I hated him and I wish he was dead! Those were the last words I ever got to say to him. The very next morning my dad was instantly killed in an accident. I have lived with regret and shed Many Tears on his grave wishing I could take it all back.

I learnt this lesson 35 yrs ago .My brother said " I will see you at Easter Cat ", 3 days later he was killed tragically on his motorbike ,by a truck.
He was turning back to help people who's car broke down on the side of the road .

He did not hear the trucks horn trying to warn him .The truck driver tried so hard to avoid hitting my brother .Trucker ended up dying of cancer .Very sad too !
I will see my brother again some day when l pass .Life is a gift I say ! Grasp with both hands and enjoy !!We do not know when it's our last .X 😄

People using their phones on planes... airplane mode is a thing for a reason
Not anymore, most flights have wifi calling and messaging.
Some planes have WiFi on them and also some planes only make you put your phone on airplane mode when you are taking off and landing a few Thant I have been on do that but not all.
They can use wifi while airplane mode tho

It happened to me few days ago...I'm on my flight from and back to my hometown after 3 days working. I had a very rough flight because of the heavy turbulence in both way. When i closed my eyes, i can see a very happy moment from the day i met my wife 20 years ago and all the good things to remember. Like it was my last day to live....

My teacher used to open each talk by saying, "with great respect and love I welcome you all with all my heart". But I remember on maybe one or two occasions he said that that itself is the attainment. Meaning that to be able to welcome others with great respect and love is THE spiritual attainment the seekers of enlightenment are searching for. Said another way, if it is all Oneness, then the annoying person next to me is also a part of the Oneness too.

In high school I worked at a Restaurant with a kid Dewy who was from a different school. I graduated and my path took me into the Military, then into Law Enforcement. There came a time for a job change within the department and I applied. The guy who made the decision of who got the job was Dewy. He told me that I got the job because back when we worked together I showed I have a good work ethic. One never knows when what we do today has a great effect in the future.

If you’ve HONESTLY put forth an effort for change and nothing happened, then turn at the next cross road, before you run out of gas and find yourself lost in the middle of nowhere! I drove that road for 10 years and ended up with an empty tank and bald tires.... Good luck.

Be the change you would like to see. Be positive even when he isn't. Notice things you like about him even if it's a small thing. This will change both of you.
