Thank you so much for this. I've had an issue with anger for year's, but it's always linked to people being disrespectful towards others, especially animal's. I lose my shit in .5 seconds and it's draining. Even being very spiritual and knowing I should just observe the emotion and let it go, there are certain instances when I still explode and then the downhill slide of feeling regretful. 😔

The gut in only ONE cause of depression.
Other causes can be living with someone who insults you all the time.
Not getting affection that you need.
      Not enough exercise.
Lack of several things in your life, like being not fulfilled in many areas of your life.
We need living warm social interactions.
We need positive self talk. Positive self parenting.
As adults we might be parenting ourselves negatively instead of positive self encouragement if we were raised that way.
There are many causes of depression.
Feeling helpless like you can't do something. Repression and suppression is often a cause of depression.
Writing down what we are thankful for and writing happy self expressions and Gerri g lots of exercise fresh air everyday is helpful. Better diet. Lots of fresh water between meals. .. Maintaini g a slim fit body.. Etc.

That's self abuse or abuse in general depending on if you're talking about yourself making the mistake over and over or someone else. I stuff my anger down because I don't trust myself to explain my anger without hurting the other persons feelings and losing them from my life or causing a big fight that I feel guilty over. In my experience when I do tell someone I'm angry with them it always gets put back on me as my fault and never goes well so I bottle it up until it just explodes out of me and then I REALLY feel guilty. I feel that if I'm angry I'm just not being compassionate enough. I've never learned how to express my negative feelings. I always feel I need to be positive.

Does it take two seconds to release those chemicals or experience anger? Because if its 2 seconds to release the chemicals it still takes time for them to dissipate and dissolve. Which would mean anger lasts longer. I wonder why those chemicals get released in the first place, and if there's a way to prevent anger completely.

Many relationships exist in a state of compromise. You recognize you're not perfect, so you put up (compromise) things that irritate you because you expect the same from the other person. When the compromising get's too one-sided or builds up, it often comes out as anger. How do you manage anger in relationships when compromise helps the relationship survive?

Becoming angry when needed is normal. But as I tell my own subscribers--staying in that state is not. Suffering from chronic anger causes a few problems. First it impedes your progress. By draining your energy that you should be using to advance yourself. Ever been angry all day at work then skipped that night workout? That's probably why. But it also isn't physically healthy and can lead to long term effects on the heart and doctors now think future cancer as well. Not to mention high blood pressure. There are two simple methods I tell my own people how to control anger. One you have with you--your breathing. You can breathe in a meditative state while walking down the street. You picture a coil slowly unwinding as if you were breathing through your stomach. Slow and in and out. Wind the coil and let it go slowly. It calms you down and if you do it every few hours for maybe ten reps then it keeps you calm. Second--reflect on what you are growing angry about. Is it really going to affect you even four months from now? You'll find many times it won't. So I would use these techniques to minimize anger so you can only progress forward. Hope that helps someone out there---Charles

Our teacher gave us the assignment on the topic“Anger Management”So I was here to find just main points of the topic but after watching I must say that I am deeply into myself.
We always give excuses to our problems in spite we could try for a simple solution.

Your videos are so helpful. My hubby falls into several of these categories but the explosive category the most. I’m always fighting with self-doubt and self-worth. Your videos have opened my eyes a lot. I thank you for that.

I agree. They never quit or stop. "Understanding" them isn't going to work. Tolerance and acceptance doesn't equal understanding.

Meditation is the fix ! Increase mindfulness with meditation! Then it will alert when bouts of anger occur!
Also in the past, the American society taught wrong by encouraging to express anger instead of teaching how to manage with mindful living!
Yes, being an observer or spectator brings bliss and ☮️! Teaches not to react!🙌🏼🙏🏼

How is a bloke with no qualifications in therapy or psychiatry lecturing people on this type of stuff! Oh because he made a fake back story about a non existent trouble life and his work as a "monk". A complete load of BS, I should know as I went to school with the guy.

You have heard that it was said to our people long ago, ‘You must not murder anyone. Any person who commits murder will be judged.’ But I tell you, don’t be angry with anyone. If you are angry with others, you will be judged. And if you insult someone, you will be judged by the high court. And if you call someone a fool, you will be in danger of the fire of hell. “So, what if you are offering your gift at the altar and remember that someone has something against you? Leave your gift there and go make peace with that person. Then come and offer your gift.
“If anyone wants to take you to court, make friends with them quickly. Try to do that before you get to the court. If you don’t, they might hand you over to the judge. And the judge will hand you over to a guard, who will throw you into jail. I assure you that you will not leave there until you have paid everything you owe.
