    Don’t stress about videos being shorter, I think we all like it more to see a notification of a new video by you every week than just once a month or so, and we all understand how busy life is with a baby. You are basically living for two humans at the moment. 😂❤

    I am so, so happy you are back❤ Your videos are such a nice retreat for me! I am a mum of 2 girls - 5 & 10 years old and I absolutely know what it is like. I do not care how often you are posting videos and how long they are. I am just happy you even have time for it. Remember that you and Ivy and the family are most important. Hugs from Bulgaria ❤

    Do not worry about your content looking a bit different we all understand and are just so happy to see your videos pop up…..your content is like a warm relaxing chat with a friend for me - I love them. I totally get that you want to read less heavy stuff while you are so busy with the baby, it is far harder to concentrate on classics then. My favourite Taylor Jenkins Reid book by miles is ‘the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo’ followed by ‘Daisy Jones and the Six’ and then ‘After I Do’ and ‘Maybe in another Life’. I have read a few of her older books and enjoyed them, not so keen on Malibu Rising or Carrie Soto is back’
    Would love to see your annotating books, I love annotating too and watching others videos of it, I think you can really immerse yourself in a book that way, and also who doesn’t enjoy highlighting and writing notes - have loved that all my life. I think my ideal job would be in a bookshop and ‘Paperchase’ combined - who doesn’t love books and stationery? I say this….as if I don’t work in that type of place but I actually work in WHSmith, and a library - Lol, I guess I am in my perfect job at the grand old age of almost 49 (though have been in libraries 10 years have only recently joined WHSmith) I look forward to your next video and wish you a lovely start of Spring with your husband and with Ivy X 😊

      I really must read Evelyn Hugo next, I have heard so much praise for that one!
      And I love that you have found your ideal job combining books and stationery 😍 a bookworm’s dream 💕

    I don't know if you've read any of the books I'll recommend you, because I'm quite a recent subscriber and haven't seen a lot of your videos, but I'd recommend you a lovely, heartwarming classic that I think anyone would adore - it's Heidi by Johanny Spyri. It's a story a lot of us have known since early childhood and I can't wait to have children of my own and read it to them as well. Apart from that, a book that is on my tbr list this spring is The Borrowers by Mary Norton. I've seen the Ghibli movie a few years ago and recently I've found out that it's based on a book, if it's anything like the movie it's gonna have plenty of spring vibes in it. Happy reading! 😊

    Hi, Jen!
    I don't know how you make time for reading, let along making videos... I know I was really low on energy after having kids. Thank you for spending your time on us. I'll be happy to see you even if it's just one time a month. And don't feel the pressure to film if you don't have time or energy, please.🤗
    I start working in 2009, and had first child in 2013, second in 2015 and start reading again at the end of 2020, after 11 years! In that time I read maybe 5 books😑 I really admire your will for reading at this time of you life.
    Perfect spring book for me is Secret garden. Have you read it?
    And for your book haul you pick great books. Any Ostin is also perfect for spring. I've got Book lovers too and saving it for seaside vacation. My sister is going to bring me both Emily Wild books from US in May since they are sold out here, and I can't wait. We share similar taste in books!☺️
    Tess of D'Urbervils💔 One of my favorites classics.
    And, I must say, at the end of this long message - you look amazing... ! 🤗

      Aww thanks so much Danijela 💛
      I must be honest in saying that it is only now, two months postpartum, that I feel able to spend any time reading or making videos.😂
      And even now reading is sporadic and little at a time, and has looked very different - like listening to an audiobook whilst walking with the pram, for instance.
      Ahh The Secret Garden is so nostalgic for me. 🌸🌿
      I hope you love the Emily Wilde books, I’ve just started on the second one and enjoying it so far! ✨

    I would love to see the Jane Austen reading vlogs! Ive only as of yet read Persuasion and Northanger Abbey by her and would love to tag along. One of the books I've read and enjoyed this spring has been Flush by Virginia Wolf- such a sweet and heartwarming story. I think Emily Of New Moon by L.M. Montgomery is splendid as well- it could work well for the season of spring or autumn as it has some darker moments than that of anne of green gables

    • @readerinareverie
      @readerinareverie  4 месяца назад +1

      Ooh if enough people wanted to read along perhaps it could be a bit of a Jane Austen readathon? 🌸 thank you for the recommendations - I still need to finish the Anne of Green Gables series but I definitely want to read more LM Montgomery. And Virginia Woolf is on my to-read authors list too!

    • @Victoria-kl7su
      @Victoria-kl7su 4 месяца назад +1

      I have discovered that L M Montgomery wrote a book about her life too….I really want that and to finish the Anne of Green Gables series - I have got to half way through Windy Poplars’ and then stopped, for no real reason….

      @readerinareverie A Jane Austen readathon sounds like so much fun! I've never read the Anne of Green Gables Series through yet but I loved the partial Anne with an E adaptation they had for a while- I've yet to watch the old movies-

      @Victoria-kl7su I haven't quite gotten that far in my reading of Anne of Green Gables but it's so interesting to find more and more of the books she's written outside it too and that shes written a book on her own life- I've heard Jane Of Lantern Hill is quite nice as well
